Ordered Compustar Remote Entry System w/ Geek Squad installation on 5/16/18. Our first appointment was cancelled about 1 half hour prior to the scheduled time. Our second installation appointment was on 7/15/18 and the install was done seemingly well. The very next morning the remote entry would not unlock the car, this had to be done manually. So another rescheduled appointment, I believe there were a total of five appointments. At some point everything worked great except the doors could not be locked from the inside once unlocked. The whole point of an alarm is safety right? By the end of it we had Geek Squad remove the system and refund our money. Approximately 1 month later my wife gets pulled over on her way to work because her tail lights are not working. That's real safe too right? By the end of it all we had them remove the system and refund the money but wait there's more! About 1 month from the uninstall my wife gets pulled over by the local police and told that her head and tail lights are not working. Andrew who is very helpful informed me that it was not from their installation/uninstallation. Seems like it is though. Feel ripped off!

You asked for it, you got it. Bought alarm online. Received it, looked good. Set up appointment to install at Geek. 9 days later, I called and verified my app. Took day off, paid daycare, showed up early 730 am. Manager saw me. I waited 25 min while he had a domestic call. Then looked at me and said oh we have to cancel app. 225.00 missed work, 125 daycare, gone for nothing. No sorry nothing. Stay away from best buy on north Academy in CS. GIVE YOUR MONEY TO PEOPLE WHO DONT TREAT YOU LIKE CRAP. I returned the product and manager wouldn't even speak to me. I was extremely polite, not stupid. I couldn't afford to take anytime off work again. Quite a disappointment and Ive spent thousands at this best buy so have my family. Unless best buy offers some kind of fix, no one I know will shop there again, including coworkers.

Unfortunately this alarm system didn’t work for my car. The Geek Squad Auto tried installing it into my vehicle but just couldn’t get it to working right consistently. I’m thankful for the auto tech being truthful and informing me how this may not be the best alarm for my car and recommended another brand that wld be best for my money. I was disappointed and was looking forward to going home with an alarm system finally installed.

Did not get it the service, was lies, did charge me for a service that I did not use. The installer had the attitude as if he really did not want to do the install, & did not do the install.
