ConAir’s Infinity Pro Curling Iron is light weight and well-made for its price range, this ceramic curler features a 1 inch barrel, and was designed for people with thicker more coarse hair. Temperature is pretty consistent throughout at 400°, there is a turbo button that will get 36 more degrees hotter if you need it. My 18 year old daughter which has thick frizzy hair really liked it, she said it performed just like it should, easy to use and straight forward in selecting the right setting which there are 30 settings in total.. it heats up really fast and she is really happy with it. She especially likes the grip and that the cord is the right length.

    Beautiful Curls for Coarse Hair

While my hair is already curly, the curls don't always go the way I want them to. My hair is thick and coarse, so I have a hard time finding heat-styling products that get hot enough to actually work on my hair, but this curling iron does a great job. It heats up fast and doesn't snag or pull my hair. I'm able to curl my hair in half the time because I'm not constantly redoing curls that didn't take the first time. My curls are shiny and well-formed and they last all day.

SUMMARY ------- Its an excellent well priced and good looking curling iron which can heat up to 400F and very functional and light weight. For the value proposition, i would highly recommend. WHAT's IN THE BOX ----------------- 1. Curling Iron 2. User Manual PROS ---- 1.Light weight and well built 2. Long cord 3. Heats up pretty fast 4. Inexpensive and good value CONS ---- 1. None yet. USAGE ----- Straightforward Plug and Play. There are 30 heat settings which include 15 high heat ones. Its a dial which you can use to set the heat setting. Good that since it is a dial, it just stays at your setting. It heats up pretty quick and you are good to go in pretty much less than a minute. It also comes with heat proof glove. Curling my hair worked out pretty good and did last long. Its easy to use and worth it.

    Good Curling Iron

In the box is the curling iron and an instruction/informational brochure. Out of the box, I set the curling iron to the setting desired and plugged in, turned on. There is a blinking red light and a green on light. The red light is supposed to turn solid when the curling iron is at the desired heat setting. Inside of the instruction/informational brochure, it does tell you what setting to use for what type of hair. My hair is thick, 3c and frizzy and the curling iron did okay. I am used to super high setting, but with this iron, it is a little tricky. I attempted to curly my ends and they curled but my curls fell quickly. Not a deal breaker, just have to get used to a different curling iron, add more product, etc. I would like to also mention that with the higher setting, I did get the burnt hair smell. I highly recommend starting a lower setting and working your way up to what works best for you. Overall, I like this product and I would recommend it to friends and family!

    Very Good Curling Iron

This curling iron is very good. My wife has curly hair so a good curling iron is important to keep the curls right. The fast heat up function is good as is the turbo feature giving the user the necessary 'burst'. The ceramic coating makes use of hair smooth and tangle free for the curl. The multi heat function is good and the overall heat makes using the curling iron work well. The auto off feature is important to me because it heats uo to 450 degrees so you don't want to leave it on. I think it is 4 stars and not 5 because the overall length of the cylinder is a bit stubby. A bit too small, but the build quality is good and the unit functions very well. It is a good product for curly hair and other special type hair conditions. I like it very much overall.

Nothing but positive feedback from the wife about the Conair Curling Iron. She especially likes how quickly it can heat up and how hot it can get, and also how well it can maintain heat uniformity. Having multiple heat settings allows her to customize the look of her curls. It does great with different types of hairs, especially with the frizzy type. Compared to the old one she was using before she’s been able to save some time. Overall she’s very satisfied with the product and would highly recommend it for anyone looking to replaced their old curling iron or in the market for a new one.

    Short barrel and mediocre controls

GOOD -Hard to accidentally change temperature dial -Fast heat up -Rest tab to keep hot barrel off counter -Swivel power cord connector prevents twisting -Clip is nicely strong BAD -Short barrel -Temperature dial is confusing -Plug terminals feel flimsy OVERALL It's not a fancy or flashy curling iron. It heats up fast, holds temperature well, and gets hot enough to curl even the most reluctant hair. The clip has nice tension to hold hair while winding and the barrel coating is very smooth. The power cord attaches with a swivel so it doesn't get tangled as easily, and there's a small nub on the tip of the barrel that keeps it from directly resting on your counter top. The biggest downside is the short barrel. People with long or thick hair won't be able to do as much in a single pass. Also the temperature dial seems over-complicated. It has 30 settings, which seems excessive. The instruction manual gives recommendations for which dial numbers to use for different types of hair, but it would be much simpler if it had a simple temperature readout instead. The blades on the electrical plug are also flimsy. It's a decent enough curling iron for the money, but it doesn't stand out either. You can get just as good, if not better, irons for similar money that have a longer barrel and are more versatile.

this does a good job on my thin, straight hair. I took awhile to find the right heat setting, but once I did I was able to make good use of it. The curling iron is built well, although I think the handle is a bit short and could be larger. In any case it did the job and we'll see how durable it is. My experience with curling irons is generally they do not last more than two years, hoping for the best !

My wife was the primary reviewer of our new curling iron, but she had a few key points to make when reviewing and using this for the first few days once she got it out and set up to replace her current curler: - The build quality is much more premium than most curling irons in this price range. - The heat settings seemed to actually do something on this unit instead of some where they seemed to have no effect on the output heat. - This iron gets HOT so if you're looking for a good high-heat iron, this one will do nicely. - This iron has a nice flexible cord, unlike some cheaper models with firmer power cords, this made it easy to navigate around her head while using without worrying about the stiff cord getting in the way. All in all for her hair type, this was a great pick. Better control, good weight, and great results. This is her new go-to curling iron!

This product is relatively easy to use. It has various heat settings, but I needed to read the manual to figure out what they were because it does not specifically say it on the iron itself. It allows for a wide range of heat settings, but I found that I needed to turn the temperature up a few times despite its recommendation for my hair type. Also, the piece that rests on the countertop while it is not in use is very small, so an additional heat mat may be necessary depending on where you are using it. I found that it mostly showed curls at the bottom of my hair, instead of tighter curls throughout which is what I was expecting. It made for an effortless light curl; I would recommend this product.

This curling iron was great for my daughter, she still has baby hair and I'm very smart about trying not to damage it. I was able to push her hair back and make perfect curls so if it's good for my little 8-year-old lady it's great for adult ladies.

The Conair Infiniti Pro ceramic curling iron has become a staple in my haircare. Whether I've got a dropped curl from an overnight roller set or I'm doing a full head with this iron, I find this easy to use and it makes a good curl on my thin, frizzy, half-Asian/White, untreated shoulder-length hair. I'm not a fan of the tiny nubs that is the "kickstand" to hold the iron up in place on the counter, but at least the settings are easy to use, the grip is nice, and this lightweight iron gave me a smooth, bouncy curl. It did come with a glove, but I'm old skool and just used the safety tip on the end to hold/roll the iron. I felt this one did heat evenly and it heated up fast! I've used Conair products before so I know this will last a long time and given the affordable price, you'll really get a lot of bang for your buck here.

As a woman of color, I am always looking for products that work. My hair is naturally wavy, curly, and frizzy. When offered the chance to try this product was excited. The ability to curl my hair was quite impressed. When using the curling iron, curls locked in quickly and lasted for a long period of time. Love that it's ceramic. The Conair - Infinity Pro Gold 1" Ceramic Curling Iron - Gold offer multiple heat settings, heats up rather quickly, and holds the heat setting evenly. There are 30 settings and a turbo button to help provide an extra heat boost. Was pleasantly surprised. Here are my Pros: 1) 30-second heat up 2) Locks in curls for a long period of time. 3) Takes the Frizz away. 4) Did not have to use a lot of hair styling products for the curls to lock-in. Overall a great product.

My wife used this curling iron for the last two weeks. She works in the hair industry and stated this is a good curling iron. It has a quick heat up and auto shut off, two features she really liked. The setting dial is a good addition for multiple types of hair. The 1" barrel is on the smaller side. She stated that this would make a good back up in her salon. Good product.
