Its a different sound, and a great album. Taylor Hawkins described it as the "Space odyssey" album and hes right. Very melodic and heavy.

Its the Foo Fighters. Is there any doubt in the quality of this album? Shame on you for having to read reviews on a Foo Fighters album.

Good solid album, builds on the hard garage-esqe sound from Wasting Light. Unfortunately, not as good as it though.

This has been their best album so far in my opinion. Does a great job of feeling nostalgic of older rock and not sounding too dated.

The new Foo Fighters is pretty hard and heavy. It's nice to hear them go back to this again. Whole album is great!

I own every CD of the Foo Fighters so it's a no brainer for me. I would recommend this and every CD by the Foos.

The Foo's give a little too much control to pop producer Greg Kurstin and some of the poppier songs sound forced, like they are trying to sound like someone else(The Beatles among others) rather than making the songs their own. There are still some strong songs here, but not as strong overall as Wasting Light. But definitely see the tour if you have the chance!

Foo fighters keep the fire of rock and roll,burning. Once again Foo Fighters break new ground but with a familiar feel.

I heard people saying it was a mixture of sgt peppers and motorhead I hear lots of beatles in this album good stuff

This definitely is a good rockin album especially for fans of dave grohl... get it you won’t be disappointed
