The game plays okay, really nice graphics, but the movement resembles Ghost Recon 2, where when the action speeds up, the game speed slows down. The multiplayer is really really awful, with uncreative maps and only two weapons. The controls are ok, but a little awkward. Overall it looks nice, and has good potential, but not a great use of your money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Let me just start off by saying I was a huge fan of the previous Conflict games (Conflict Desert Storm, Conflict Desert Storm II, Conflict Vietnam, and Conflict Global Terror) and own them all so I expected this game to be as good or better than the previous games. However it may have superior graphics because of the Xbox 360, but it failed terribly in living up to my expectations. The game play just didn't seem to flow well and thought having unlimited ammo was strange for this type of game as a result I decided after one week that I had made a mistake and I should sell this game for whatever I could because I knew that I wouldn't be playing this game any more. So I bought it for $49.99 and sold it for $14 seven days later. Don't make the same mistake as I did. If you really want this game rent or borrow it first because you probably will not want to own it.
