    I did not expect to like this movie as much as I do. I'm a huge Toni Collette fan, but when I first read the synopsis I thought it was a Victor/Victoria rip-off. It is NOT, and, it has a lot of great things to say.

    A friend took me to see this at a theater after a rough day at work.  Bought it when it came out.  Wore it out.  Bought another 2 copies.  The plot is clear and simple. Nia Vardolos is incredible and Toni Collette plays the perfect balance to the pair. David Duchovny aint too shabby either. I recommend this to anyone and everyone looking for a funny, feel-good movie.

    Connie and Carla is a cute, fun movie. You don't have to like musicals to enjoy this film. It also doesn't hurt that David Duchovny is in it. Don't worry, he doesn't sing. If you're in the mood for a romantic comedy this is the DVD for you.
