Yes, this was made in the early days on the comic book influx of the early millennium, and got lost in the fold of things. It made decent money, got decent reviews and not bad considering the film was the debut of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire helmer Francis Lawrence. Still, I can't get over Keanu Reeves starring as the British, hard smokin', hard drinkin' John Constantine. Still, he does well though not excellent, and the rest of the cast does well as well. The film looks excellent though with some excellent CG, but nothing much else of note. The PQ and AQ are strong, but nothing fantastic and needs a 4K remastering, which would be nice considering it has been successful on DVD and BluRay and seen on TV quite often but other than that, a nice picture. The same goes for the AQ, but fares a bit better with a nice soundscape and plenty of bass. The extras, however, are very plentiful filled to the brim with 2 commentaries with Lawrence and producer Akiva Goldsman on track one and the writers on track two, a P-in-p in movie experience, 14 featurettes, deleted scenes and trailers fill out this well-stacked edition. Only buy it if its cheap, but still a good movie, just not great.

I’ve been watching it since I was like 8 and I’m 19 now and not a day goes by that I don’t love this movie! And for us to only have a ps4 to watch movies on we can only really get blue rays because they don’t mess up the system. Which trying to find this movie just in general for more than a year was annoying and finally going to Best Buy when I was about to give up and it being there was great! And it was reasonably priced!

A great look at a very deep comic book character. Watching this movie will make you want to learn the mythology behind each of the characters and artifacts in the movie. The glimpse into this is what really sets this movie above just being another basic summer action movie. It may take a little more effort to get the most out of it, but taking that extra step is a chance to learn about aspects of mythology and religion you may not have otherwise.

I don't think that the movie critics really appreciate Keanu Reeves. He's a great actor and it's about time that his name is mentioned in the Oscars conversation. Most sci-fi Action Movie actors rarely get mentioned, this needs to change. This movie has great acting and great special effects.

This is the first time that I found this in Blue Ray. This wasn't a Block buster movie as it's story is taken from a comic book with a character of low popularity (when compared to Superman and Batman, etc.). The movie is pretty good and follows the story line of the comic fairly well. Keanu Reeves was the right choice for the lead.

Occult horror. The film is done in a DC Comics style with colourful demonic characters and impressive scenes of hell in red. The character of Lucifer could have been developed further though. The plot follows John Constantine, a vigilante who exorcises and kills demons and who becomes involved with the mysterious suicide of a twin.
