The Contixo F33 Vortex Drone is a fantastic option if you are looking for a high quality mid level, affordable drone that has enough features to feel more high end, and you are an intermediate level pilot. Just to note- this drone must be registered with the FAA and your registration number must be clearly marked on the drone. Unpacking- Everything is pretty straight forward, and the drone and accessories come in a very nice hard plastic shell case. The drone compacts down pretty small with the rotor arms tucked in. It comes with 1 battery and it and the remote should be charged before any flight time. The kit does come with a usb-c charging cable, an extra set of rotors, in case rotor lock, a 32GB micro SD card, and the user guides. Setting up the drone- Once you have the drone out of the case and the battery charged, the battery just snaps into the top of the drone. The charging port is on the side of the battery so you can still charge the battery while it is attached to the drone. The rotor arms simply fold out and snap in place. It is a bit of force to get them to move, so sometimes it felt like I was going to break the arm off, but it was all fine. The 4k camera and gimble are under a protective cover, that I found kinda tricky to remove, and even a bit more tricky trying to put back on. I was being super careful as to not damage the camera and gimble setup. The landing feet simply fold down underneath the front rotors. The overall feel of the drone quality seems very well built and solid. It has a brushless motor so it can operate very smoothly and efficiently. The battery boasts a 40 minute flight time which is awesome. Remote- The remote control includes a 5.5" HD screen. I love this because there is not syncing issues like drones that need your phone to operate. The video moves very quick to the actual drone movements and I never feel out of control of it. The Micro SD card included goes into the remote on the bottom. The top buttons operate the camera and the joysticks control flight. There are a multitude of functions on the remote that make operating this drone so easy. The antenna fold out on top of the remote, and boasts a 4 mile signal range. It does state in the instructions that maintaining line of side between the remote antenna and drone is going to give you the best results and works very well while following that guideline. There is a pre-flight checklist you do need to follow on the remote before you can even take off. The included book guides you step by step in doing that and is essentially just calibrating drone location compared to the remote. Flying and camera operation- Flying this drone is so much fun! It is very responsive, and the picture and video buttons being on top of the remote make it easy to record the footage you need. I've got about 4 hours of total flight time so far and love it so much. I will be looking to invest in a second or third battery. The overall quality of the camera photos and videos is pretty high quality. It is a 4k camera, and there is very little degredation of the pictures and video. Having a 2-Axis gimble doesn't allow for all the perfect shots, but it still performs amazing. My only gripes with this kit, is the case that it comes with has foam cutout that is too tight for the drone to fit. It fits extremely snug and if you push it all the way down in the case it is very difficult to get out and makes me feel like I'm going to break something on it. The camera and gimble cover on the drone is also very snug fitting and the gimble gets jostled around quite a bit when trying to put the cover back on and makes it feel like it could break. Otherwise, I love everything else about this drone. I highly recommend it.

[PROS] Beginner Friendly: Using the F33 wasn't an overtly complicated process. As a matter of fact, it was quite easy. The included manuals provide information for registrations and clear instructions for flight operation. Furthermore, the official website contains a thorough video for all of the important actions that a user might want do. Smooth Operation: For me, the biggest upside of this drone is the handling. I was able to navigate the F33 with the precision and accuracy that I desired. Latency wasn't an issue, and my connectivity to the drone remained solid. I was able to return the drone back to myself with ease after having it to soar among the trees and around different structures. Also, battery life is decent when not performing a complex flight path. Simple Controller: Setup was a breeze, and the interface of the remote control compliments it. The UI interface icons are placed in a convenient layout, and I was able to toggle different modes as needed. Furthermore, taking a picture or performing a video capture could be done with just the click of a button. [CONS] Unimpressive Video: All 4K recording isn't equal, and the F33 proves it unfortunately. The video quality of the drone isn't horrible, but it does leave a bit more to be desired. Image lacks a bit of clarity and sharpness which makes it seem like the final output is upscaled from a lower resolution. The video that I was able to obtain is fine, but I wouldn't use it for professional content. Picture quality is good along as proper lighting is found. [CONCLUSION] The F33 is a nice, recreational drone to use. It's easy to understand, and fun to use. However, there are a few kinks with the video quality needs to be worked out.

Contixo F33 drone. It's absolutely amazing. Out of the box, you're in for an amazing time with even more amazing visuals. This one takes awesome pics and videos. The video is 4K and amazing. It takes photos at 3840x2160p in JPEG format, and they're amazing. It takes a while to charge it to 3 hours, but the 42 minutes you get will blow you away. With a flight range of about 3 mi, your fun can go just as far as your imagination can take you. It includes a 32 gig SD card, but it can support up to 256 GB. And I will definitely be getting one. It has amazing features, such as a follow-me function that lets the drone follow you as you move. And orbit mode with a circle, an area that you said, and capture all the goings on. It also uses GPS to return to the departure location, which is awesome. And I definitely love the obstacle avoidance feature. It has a two-axis gimbal that works with EIS, which makes it very easy to control. The camera is wireless and connects via 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi, which is nice. The remote includes a 5.5-inch touchscreen, which is actually nice. I wouldn't call this an entry-level drone, but if you're looking for a nice one that's really packed with features, this is the one you want to check out. My only concern may be the charging time, but hey, you can't have everything.
