This cooktop was delivered and I was told that there wasn't a junction box so they could either wire it and "tape it up" or not wire it at all. Either way, we'd have to have an electrician come with a junction box. I opted to go the "tape up" method so I would be able to use the cooktop. Before the installers left, I turned on the cooktop and lights throughout the house started flickering and/or not working at all. They unwired the cooktop and said they'd be going out to call their boss. They left. The "licensed installer" - who licenses installers? - left with the cooktop unwired and the electricity in my house not working as it should. Thankfully I have a friend who is an electrician who was able to come and wire it, correctly - with an actual junction box - and reset the main breaker for the house so everything is now working, but the experience was definitely subpar.

It quiet! That's my favorite part. Love the fact that I can wash a king size comforter with no problem!

The unit functions perfectly and is a visual match to the kitchen. priced very favorably. The installation was nightmare requiring 5 service calls to our home - time-phone calls-poor communication.

This 2nd try at the installation was great. The first installer that tried to install our stove tried to kill us with gas leaks and shoddy work. This 2nd install fixed all the problems from the first.

The installers for this product were completely incompetent. They damaged the cooktop, lost screws, removed the old working unit, and left us with an unusable system. When I noticed a problem, the installers were still in the driveway. I stepped out, they noticed and stopped. I waved at them to come back. Then they peeled out. Dealing with Best Buy support regarding this issue has turned out to be an awful ordeal. Insanely long wait times on the phone. Rude agents have literally hung up on me, and I have now spoken with over 5 people on the phone regarding this. This is 3 days later, and we are STILL not able to schedule an exchange and re-install. This experience is making me consider never using the geek squad again, or purchase anything further from Best Buy. Hugely disappointed!

The cooktop technician was super knowledgeable and so considerate in taking extra care not to dirty anything. In addition to installing cooktop, he had to cut into counter and modify the fittings and he did with the knowledge of an expert.

Good purchase, like the sound, will purchase item again

Although I did not install the downdraft, I think they are professional team.

Still can't figure out what the value of this is. Basically, they are glorified salespeople. Had a question that only $600 would solve. No out of box thinking, just sell sell sell Best Buy products. I'm guessing turnover is a real problem.

Product is average but ok Controls are ildesigned

Would have given negative stars if I could. The guys (far from geek squad!!) who came to do the install were unprofessional, acted disingenuously, were not aware of the ductwork needed and how to install, made me get new duct from homedepot when the existing vent ductwork was appropriate, installed the cooktop when I was away to get the duct - just 15 minutes of my absence, although there was an elder at home. To top it all, took my old appliance when I was away, I didn't pay for haul away. Luckily I noticed when I got back, asked for them to return the old appliance and ductwork that they had removed. I got a lot of attitude for that and he slammed my door on the way out. I want my money back!!

Love having this service. It’s nice to not have to have this service. Makes life easier when you don’t have to take the time to instal yourself.

Terrific service from the two gentlemen that showed up to install our gas cooktop. We are very glad that we selected Best Buy's Geek Squad to our home to do this job. Great job!!!

The KitchenAid gas cooktop is great. Five different size burners allowing energy star status. Downdraft exhaust super. Great looking and very well made. Highly recommended.

technicians did an excellent job troubleshooting and completing a challenging installation...grateful for their perseverance and hard work

Bought this downdraft cooktop to replace an old Jenn-Air unit. Wish we bought this sooner as this unit is awesome. Highly recommend! Burners heat up quickly and stay at consistent temp. Very good looking cooktop with the optional stainless trim and knobs!

The product is great, but the installation was amazing! They needed to build up the opening so that the cooktop wouldn't slide around will using. These guys didn't flinch, they went to the truck and got what they needed and didn't stop until it was perfect!

By the time it was installed, I had to pay $100 for a 3/8 valve. I had a 30 year old 1/2 inch. It just seems like there is always an upcharge.

Luis and Robert were excellent installing the Cooktop. Went over everything and explained it. It looks great.
