This is a very good 4k for a classic movie. Definitely an upgrade from the original bluray release. Recommended for fans of classic movies or Paul Newman.

This is one of my favorite movies of all time, and I feel one of Paul Neuman’s best performances ever. Another reason I purchased this was the fact it is now done in the 4K format, which enhanced the picture and color from the original. It was a trip down memory lane to be able to enjoy this masterpiece again with the acting and the more realistic picture quality. It almost felt as if you could feel the heat of the location as well as the powerful performances of the actors, and brought back the reason I felt this was a true masterpiece of a movie…..

With each successive home video production of this film, I was appreciative of the little details that would emerge. But this 4K version is truly a revelation and the cool artwork on the steelbook makes for an excellent keepsake. Details in facial expressions, fabric on clothes, metal surfaces and the general color tones and contrast are far superior to even the blu-ray version. The audio is also much improved. Highest recommendations. Despite the theatrical release in 1967, the movie looks and sounds like it could have been produced yesterday.

Beautiful steelbook of this classic movie starring Paul Newman and many other stars of the '60s and '70s. The movie has never looked better until now on the 4K! Sound is great for a 1967 picture. Artwork is solid all the way inside and out. Great job on this 4K edition! You can retire the previous edition of this movie, if you had it. You will have the best it has ever looked now. Highly recommend!

I saw this movie downrange when I was in the service and what a classic movie with such an interesting story. Love the movie and the steenbok was beautiful to boot.
