This is the must buy for laptops. Don't waste your money on other ones when this is the one you will end up with. Great features, and just plain better than the rest.

Bought two, one for each of my kids who had very hot running laptops. They both love their cooling stands. We bought based on other reviews and were not disappointed. Effective and easy to use. Really like the feature that allows you to place the three cooling fans where the "hot spots" are.

As a gamer with a computer that's gone through two hard drives due to over heating, I was glad to finally find a cooler that worked so well! I haven't had any issues with heat at all since I plugged it in, and my computer runs nice and cool now. I also love the versatility in placing the fans.

I purchased this product on 04/04/12 and it is now 07/04/12 (happy 4th of July), I have one working fan as of now. I originally had 3 fans and I am now down to one, which seems it might stop working soon. I gave this a two star because I wanted to use it for work at home in my bed. This did cool my laptop down pretty well. The single elastic strap provided with this product is great, but I wish there were two. I prop this up on my legs while in bed to do work, but the laptop slides off of this product very easily. I cut the strap into two pieces and this helped a bit, but I wish this was better made to prevent the laptop from sliding off. I would not recommend this product due to the short life-span of the fans and also due to how easy it is for the laptop to slide off of its stand. I am currently seeking replacement for the fans since there is a 1 year warranty on parts. Wish me luck.

This fan is pretty good in that the individual fans can be positioned where the heat is located. Unfortunately, it wasnt enough for my laptop and I had to return it, but I am thinking if this fan didnt work none will.

My laptop kept overheating and cuting off. This device saved the day.

Firstly, i've used this for only a few days but so far it slightly raises my Toshiba Satellite 875D-S7332's temperature instead of lowering it. Turning the fan to max speed does not help. Secondly, I don't know who thought it was a good idea to have a laptop sitting on it at an angle. The computer easily slides inches down and has to be repositioned. I knew it was angled, but I thought it would better grip the laptop to prevent sliding. On the plus side, it is very quiet, even at full speed.

The fans keep dying after 3 months. First time it lasted 3 months all 3 fans died, got replacement and now a month or two later, one of the fan died. Got this from Amazon and got replacement from coolmaster which the replacement fan keep failing after 3 to 2 months. The fan clip on is a pain, it will not stay clipped. It does keep the laptop cool but after months it won't since the fan(s) dies after months.

When buying this product I couldn't find which direction the fans blow the air, so I bought based on the reviews, that were great. When it came in, however, I found out that it doesn't cool my computer properly, since the fans blow the air up, and not down. And apparently I can change it with a Phillips Screw, but I wish I'd known this earlier. Also, it says it's for computers UP TO 15"~17", when it's actually for computers from 15" to 17", so my 13" Macbook stands on it pretty poorly, always sliding. Very disappointing.

I have a laptop that runs hot, figured this would help and had high hopes. Setup was easy, and then took some before/after hardware temperature recordings using HWMonitor. Came up with the exact same temperatures under the exact same conditions. At a closer look, the individual fans don't really put out too much mass-flow. Pretty dissapointed for $30.

I just got my cooler and hooked it up. The fans didn't spin so I changed usb ports a couple times. Within a minute I started to smell electrical getting hot. I looked and found smoke coming from the switch. I unplugged it and the switch was almost to hot to hold. Will be taking it back tomorrow and see what I can get.
