Doesn't maintain temp setting

Perhaps I don't understand the instructions, but I cannot get the temp to stay at 33 degrees. Even when it has not been opened for 48 hrs, the temp fluctuates from the 33 I set it for (temp light flashes 33) it invariably climbs to 38 or 40 when reopened.

Keeps items cold like a normal fridge but you have to be mindful to fully close it with a tiny push or it won’t stay closed.
