This is a must have for any stop action movie fan. The visual effects and background images are amazing. The plot is a little slow at first, but it's fun to watch once it gets going. This movie is great for all ages. If you enjoyed the Nightmare Before Christmas, then you'll definitely love this. You get the same great plot and amazing characters without the singing.

First this movie is hard to come by and i was happy that best buy came through again at a fair price. My 13 daughter loves this family thriller. Its a ckean one folks no cussing no nudity etc.....

My kids love this and my oldest (5 years) is a scaredy-cat. The music is the right combination of eerie and beautiful. The animation is beautiful. It's always a bit overwhelming the amount of work that needs to go into a stop motion in order to do it right.

This is a story of a young girl who feels ignored and neglected by her parents. She enters a fantasy world with alternate parents that look like hers, but are more thoughtful and make her the center of their universe. She soon finds out that the world they establish is not reality and she learns to really appreciate her real parents.

Sometimes movies don't really need 3D, but this one is well-suited for it. Clear, colorful picture looks great in 3D! Very interesting storyline (though maybe a little scary for younger viewers), which even adults can appreciate. I can see why this movie got great reviews, and the great 3D is a plus.

I had never seen Coraline prior to purchasing the 3d blu ray, but had seen it on so many Top 10 3D movie lists that the decision to buy was practically made for me. On top of exceptional 3d effects, I was very pleased at the how good of a movie it was. I'm thinking about going out as Other Wybie next Halloween.

Excellent movie and well made. I’ve been trying to acquire this film for my collection for some time now and it’s finally available. Please come out with a Steelbook version.

I'm a huge fan of LAIKA's work and Henry Selick's (director of the classic The Nightmare Before Christmas) Coraline is no exception. This is a must-own film for any fan of stop-motion animation. In regards to the bluray, it's a great transfer. If you only own it in dvd, then it's time to upgrade.

Coraline is a great film with a good story line. It’s somewhat dark yet still fun for the whole family. It’s a must see film in my opinion.

This is a fun movie for all Tim Burton fans, but even if you're new to his work, you'll enjoy the story and be amazed by the animation. It's a nice break from the movies that try so hard nowadays to be the "big thing" and often fail miserably. This is just a story told and animated in a down-to-earth way. Loved it!

This review is specifically on the conversion to Blu-Ray, there are hundreds of reviews of the movie but none on the conversion. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate the conversion a 7. I would rate the picture quality (brightness, color. contrast) a 9 I would rate audio a 7 as it does not support digital surround above 4.1 systems. Overall - its better than VHS, and only slightly better than DVD but not by much.

this is one of my favorite movies, I like all movies of this type. I have watched this movie over and over and it's just as good as the first time I saw it. I would recommend this movie to anyone that likes The Nightmare Before Christmas or any of Tim Burton's other movies this one is terrific

Excellent condition! I went to pick up my items a day after I ordered it and the item was still in great condition and it discs work perfectly.

A Neil Gaiman book should I say more than just one of the best stories ever translated to animated 3d film. The plot has a moral theme, lots of interesting characters, superb acting, exciting action and suspense that will keep young and old alike glued to the television.

Man, I forgot how genuinely SCARY this movie was. An excellent package for one of the most exquisitely crafted animated films of the modern era. The only thing that would have made this release better would be the inclusion of either a 4K or 3D disc.

Love Coraline very cute movie was one of my sons favorite growing up. Was happy when I found it on DVD so had to buy it.

This is another classic that I bought to add to my collection. It is a great movie to sit back and watch for all ages and most will enjoy it the most not icicle thing about this copy is the improved audio and picture quality. I would definitely recommend it over the DVD copy.

Everything you would expect from a Tim Burton movie. The storyline is a little dark and creepy but still fun/funny. The characters are so likeable and it is visually beautiful. And I love that I finally found the Blu-Ray with a digital copy at such a great price!

If you aren't planning on watching Coraline in 3-D, this is your best bet. There are fancier editions of Coraline out there, but if you just want the film with its original extras and no accoutrements, pick up this edition. The movie is still fantastic and will horrify your children (in a good way), so for budget minded parents, look no further.
