Stone Temple Pilots are an alternative rock band from San Diego, California whose debut album entitled "Core" was released in the year 1994, a few years after the Seattle grunge scene explosion. Although many rock critics compared them to Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots distinguished themselves by mixing the modern grunge sound with classic rock and alternative rock which made them in my opinion a cut above the rest of the rock bands that were popular at the time. Excellent rock band!

Core is the major label debut from S.T.P. It contains hit songs such as plush, creep, and wicked garden. This is a great album but I personally feel purple was better, there second album. If you like the grunge era, you'll probably like this band.

This is a great CD to buy! I always go to Best Buy to buy all of my music! They have great choices and the prices are very reasonable!

STP is a rock band from San Diego. Dead and Bloated and Wicked Garden are the songs that most people know from this album.

It was High School, you don't need to know the year but that's when this record came out and introduced one of the greatest bands to the public. Throughout the years they had many ups and downs, heartbreak and turmoil but this is where it all began.

Found this CD in the throwaway (reduced) bin for cheap and couldn't refuse. What a deal! This is not a review of the album because everyone knows the music this album anyway. The price made it a one of a kind deal.

Hadn't listened to in years and needed to replace my original cd copy. STP was a great band regardless of what the critics opinions were at the time.

Picked up this historic STP CD for $5.00. A great CD that I can now add to my collection and didn't cost much. I highly recommend it.

One of STP's best CDs featuring their recognizable sound led by Scott Weiland who was one of the great front men of rock.

This is the best album by this band and the one you should pick up if you can find it. It has their best known early songs.
