Very disappointing. I'm hoping I just got a bad one. It is blurry, it does not show up unless all the lights are out. I was hoping for something better but I guess you get what you pay for.

This is a review of the Core Innovations - 150” LCD Home Theater Projector. At high-level for the category of native resolution 800x480 and its price point the projector performs well. It is equipped with 5 input sources from 2 of HDMI to USB, PC connection, 2 Audio port of 3.5mm, and micro sd. It come a small remote control for most of functions. Its weight is reasonably light, it is light enough to place on the compact tripod for traveling. Connecting to notebook and straight forward as long has having the right cable with correct adaptor. Upon connection, immediately via source can identify the type and go straight tot the view of document or movie. Now, its image and movie experience based on projection on the plain white wall, it is not perfect compared to better but more expensive comparable in the market. But for what is, it is acceptable quality I would say. Areas where can tell how well work is viewing in general and how it handle the light and tone as they don’t fall behind. What doesn’t have is that crisp and sharp definition, but if it is used on a good screen would mitigate those shortfall. However, what I noticed it doesn’t do well is on the borders details become blurry while toward to center is more clear. For instance, at bottom line can tell how blurry become and it does on subtitle of the movie. On adjusting size and clarity, it can be done from the lens that has rotating control, and next to it a way to tilt depending on the position and distance from the screen. Then the sound is not that great from what is although seems to have two rear speakers. Unless being nearby of projector, the sound would fade or distorred. However, it has a basic but nice surrounding sound mode that can be observed being close by. It can feel sound from left and right and moving in between and in depth where is available in the movie. Also can be tell this from YouTube a demo of Dolby Surround video. But still viewer need to be nearby. To summarize, it is affordable projector with full of connectivities for reasonable experience. After iteration of usage, I would think it is best for a office team meeting to share documents, or event to have image or video projected that doesn't require attention on the details. But I wouldn’t use for main home theater experience. As side note, the package doesn’t come with battery for the remote control.

've been using the projector in my basement, and when it's dark it looks great but when I turn the lights on it's hard to see. Maybe this is my background, but a darker room does work better. Outside of that, the setup is simple. Plug it in, turn it on, and connect a source. There is a menu so you can adjust settings and get pictures from the card you attach. It has a remote control, but you can also use the buttons on top. The picture quality is good and can be adjusted to be a small screen which is what I used it for. Overall, the performance for the price is great. If you're looking for a projector that you'll use here and there, I would recommend this. If you're looking for a true home theater though, there are better options but they also cost more. Also make sure you have a dark area, as it does better than in the light.

It is a great idea to have a small reliable projector however the cuts to make it affordable is noticeable. The sound has no depth, very basic and surround sound is not recommended. Picture looks great and has a lot of inputs available to connect to multiple devices. The GUI is easy to use and identifies the media types. There are some customizability when it comes to picture, sound and menus. Overall it is a good device to meet basic needs however would not recommend if looking for a "Home Theater Experience"

I am fairly surprised that this Mini Projector is sold by Best Buy. It has the look and feel of a generic projector that would be sold cheaply on a bargain website (like Wish or AliExpress). Although the build quality is not the greatest, I admit that it is a decent projector for it's incredibly low price. The projector is very easy to use and has every input you could need (VGA, HDMI, USB, 3.5 mm Aux Input, and even a MicroSD card slot). But, while the projector is simple, I really don't believe that it is well suited to replace a modern TV. The image quality is 800 x 480 which is less than 720p (which is NOT High Definition). While the image is not particularly sharp, it does project quite a large picture which can be fun to view (even if you don't have an actual projection screen). The difficulty is that the image does best when projected straight forward and not tilted upwards. There is an option to adjust the image tilt, but when projected at an angle - I was not able to get the entire image to stay in focus. The bottom would blur while the top would focus correctly. The other downside is the audio quality. The sound gets surprisingly loud, but the audio quality is sharp and tinny. But, again, for such a low price - and coming from such a tiny physical size, the sound is passable. I would recommend this projector only for simple and occasional use. Because it is so small, it would be good to take on vacation, or for kids to use to simulate a movie theater with their friends. ...I would definitely not recommend for any professional or heavy usage.

Its an awesome little projector. Its easy to set up and use. I love how quickly i can set up and take down. I just run an extension cord 10 feet out my front door and we are able to watch a movie outside next to the bonfire. I ended up getting a second bose portable speaker at the same time and man is it wicked awesome surround sound like feature while having movie night outside with your neighbors with a bonfire and marshmallows. The only thing i dont like is it only has one adjustable leg on the bottom witch is not centered properly for the weight of the unit itself but i just use an adjustable projector tripod and dont have to worry about it. Definitely worth getting especially for the price.

For the price we are paying we get an extremely useful small projector. It has all basic feature we need and simple way to adjust clarity. the tilt function to adjust the screen angle works great on for some extent. There are multiple option to connect this to video sources and can run for longer period of time. I use it for my small work where just want to watch on a small screen for shorter duration . This projector though need dark room and with light you wont be able to view. For backyard evening outdoor this is best use.

Got a chance to play with the Core Innovations - 150” LCD Home Theater Projector and at first I was pleasantly surprised. The little project was sharp. The project there has a small foot print and ideally is made to be in line of the projector screen. I did see a treaded hole for mounting onto a tripod but did not use it. I think Ideally this is the way it should be used. One of the things I didn't like was this isn't really made for much adjustments. The keystone adjustment is manual but hard to focus if it out of range. You may get clear section of image on the center but the top will be out of focus, this is more about placement of the projector. Need very dark setting

“Pleasantly surprised!” On paper compared to others at its price point it seemed lackluster. I found myself hesitant to buy it and expected to return it my goal was to use this for movie nights with my lady, and no I don’t have a projector screen so just using plain walls and I can honestly say I’m happy with the picture quality and brightness and even after movie nights I used this as a projector for my Xbox/rog ally and found myself immersed the sound quality is ok but if you have a sound bar or an existing audio set up you can really create a movie theater experience it’s good for 1080p gaming on a large display the largest I’ve gone is about 70 inches and I’m certain I’ll be getting lots of use from this product

This is a handy little projector. It has one adjustable peg in the front, but it could use some more- otherwise I would recommend to get a tripod as it does have the ability to screw onto a tripod. The speakers are decent but I wish it had bluetooth connections. I just used the hdmi and usb port to connect it to my fire stick and the pic quality was better than expected. I would recommend to actually test watching a movie while adjusting rather than a set image.

I purchased a projector screen for this review, I connected an Apple TV to the projector and was amazed of the clarity with a PowerPoint presentation. Then played a Disney movie for my grandchildren they loved it was perfect for them I connected external speakers to give the sound quality a bump. I felt the video quality was good not great, but for the price you can’t go wrong. Comes with usb hdmi and pc connections and a useful remote.

Used the projector outside for movie night. Tried to used the app to mirror from my phone but didn’t work. Had to use the Roku stick. Other than that.. easy setup. the projector was amazing for the price.

I was excited to get this projector and was looking forward to setting it up. The resolution is only 800 x 480 and isn't HD. With that being said, the projector does displays HD sources and lowers the resolution to match the projector's lower resolution. Core Innovations projector produces between 35" and a very large 150" picture with decent light output. This unit has built in a speaker so you can use it with or without an external sound system. They projector ships with a power cord, projector and remote control. There are two HDMI inputs, USB and VGA inputs. The unit has a mini jack for sound output and an earphone jack for private listening. There is a threaded slot on the bottom for attaching to a tripod. On the top of the projector is a power button, source button, an up, down, left and right and OK buttons. There is also a mute button. The menu provides the ability to customize the picture and sound in the setting. There are a few preset picture mode such as Vivid, Standard and Customize. The picture quality in all of the picture modes is ok and you can see individual pixels because of the 480 resolution. This is a great backyard or Friday night sleep over party for the kids. This is not for the videophile. For the fun factor this a good choice.

Nice projector for the money. Used for several customer meetings, where an overhead display, it was not provided internally. The images are clear and the battery lasts quite some time. I should have purchased the remote to go with it. Overall, good product.It's also nice for outdoor movie night with the kids!

Not the highest quality. It’s a little dark and hard to see even with the lights off. Other than that, the picture quality is pretty good. It’s definitely a good projector for the value.

Purchased this bundle for my daughter's outdoors birthday due to her having covid. Worked great. Hooked up my firestick to it and voila. Clear picture and good sound. It has a jack port to plug up external speakers. It did the trick. Now we plan to do more movie nights around the firepit this fall. Thank you Best Buy!

Very good quality picture. Easy setup! Picture doesn’t quite get as big as it says with losing a little picture quality.

Great picture, when purchasing I thought it was Bluetooth but it is not. So If you’re interested in buying, you’ll have to think about getting a roku streaming usb or a counsel with an hdmi. Set up was super easy and it’s good for its price.

Excellent product, high quality and very durable. Easy to install and connect products. Sound quality is just ok so you will need a sound system with it. Great feature to flip the picture around for front or back display options. Does not come with travel bag or any wires.

I bought this for my daughter and her roommate and they love it! Great quality and easy to set up.
