It is quite an exquisite and useful product for anyone with a camera and quality photos they wish to edit. It was also quick and easy to install and comes with useful tips for beginners. I would recommend this product to anyone with a camera.

I have "some" experience with Adobe Photoshop, so when I saw Corel's Paintshop Pro for a sixth of the price of Photoshop, I thought I would give it a try. It's great! Many of the features of Photoshop and just as much fun to use.

Paintshop Pro X8 Ultimate for Windows is a great photo editing package that I think will satisfy most users unless you are a professional. It's not the same as Adobe Photoshop, but it also doesn't come with the Photoshop price tag, either. It's loaded with a lot of great features but it can be intimidating for basic users because of all of the various features and functions it offers. I have only used it for basic editing and have yet to explore its full capabilities, and I may never need to make use of those as I am not a photographer. I bought this when it was on sale for about 75% of the regular price. If you can get it on sale then its a great value, but I doubt I would have paid full price for it.

I would definitely recommend this program to anyone who enjoys working with photographs! It's simple and easy to use with gorgeous results!

I picked this up because a certain competitor's website wouldn't let me renew my subscription. I couldn't be happier. Granted, I'm not the neediest user. I need to process my raw files. I need to correct white balance or wide-angle distortion. I take photographs and want files that look like what I was photographing. This package does all of that flawlessly as well as everything else that I was able to do with their over-priced competitor. Very nicely, it does all of that without having to wait for 20-30 seconds for the program to start. If I just want to look at a picture and it opens in PaintShop Pro because I'd been working in it lately, I don't kick myself, because I'm not waiting 30 seconds before I can close the program and choose Photos. Whatever that other company comes up with next to make their spec list sparkle, it's still not going to change the fact that their product is a horribly-written, steaming pile of bloat. I like to run good software, and this is good software.

It has been a quite long time since I've used PaintShop. It was on sale for a very attractive price and I decided to buy it. I have not been disappointed so far. There are a lot of effects that would allow to customize your photo in a lot of ways. A whole bunch of different tools, just learn how to use them and transform your photo to a piece of art( in your opinion :))) )

Purchased this software to replace an older version which was no longer compatible. Used it for touching up and cropping a photo to be used for an ID. Software was easy to navigate and has lots of nice editing features. A good value if you watch for sales!

I've tried my hand at adobe, this product makes much more sense and it is very simplistic. Although Corel Paint Shop is not as detailed and fine tuned with some tools, this is a great program for photographers and beginner digital artists.

It has all the function I need without the monthly/annual fees. The learning curve is moderate and once you've customized the toolbars to your workload, images can be quickly scanned, downloaded or created and then modified as needed.
