    Great Mount for the Price

I purchased this mount to hold a 46" LG in the guest bedroom. The mount was easy to install, is sturdy, and does an excellent job of holding the TV in place. This is by far one of the cheapest full motion mounts on the market and it's well worth the money. One word of advice: it was a lot easier positioning, marking holes, leveling, and mounting the wall bracket after removing the arm assembly.

I installed this mount alone with minimal problems. At 66 with moderate arthritis getting this mounted slightly overhead without help was not fast but without great effort. Functions as advertised. Still on the wall two months later.

This was a great mount for the money. The tilt is not adjustable once you set and tighten. It does need a lot of wrench work but it is sturdy and has nice motion on the extension and left to right. Basically I would tell a friend to buy.

Easy to mount and set up. Plenty of room to hide cables and keep things looking clean and sharp. TV is easy to move around to your ideal viewing position.

everything functions the way its meant. only problems i had were sliding the arm to the next inserts, to center the tv. (due to the studs on my wall) once i did this i was able to center the tv how i wanted it. on a side note. nowhere on the packaging does it say SONAX. that through me off when i received it. looks like the one i ordered and same model no. but not a sonax. didnt want to deal with the return process waiting in line at the store, ordering another one, etc. . so i mounted it anyways.

Easy installation, attaches firmly to studs, and supports a 42" Sharp very well. Easy to move positions, and extends from the wall to accomodate flexible viewing angles for our 42". Bought it on sale so value was very good too

My tv can go flat to the wall and 90 degrees in both directions. Very happy not to have to have a mount custom made. Perfect!

As a high-end remodeling contractor, I have installed a LOT of wall-mounted TV systems and soundbars, and have seen a lot of different types of mounts. It really is essential to get a good quality mount, especially the larger the TV, but it can be hard to find a quality mount for a medium to small TV. Definitely avoid an articulating mount that has a small single backplate that attaches to only one stud-- there is too much leverage placed on the unit when swiveling, which can still crush drywall even when mounted into a stud or solid blocking. THE GOOD: This mount is good because it has a wide backplate that spans a pair of studs, with some different spacing options, which is #1 requirement. Installs fairly easy and does the job. NEEDS WORK: The TV brackets that mount the TV to the bracket don't attach very securely to the mount. It slides left and right freely, which can be nice for centering, but the TV slides around whenever you try to move it around. The bottom locking tabs are also pretty loose and do not inspire a lot of confidence. I tightened the screws on the locking tabs, and I drilled two sheet metal screws into the mount to keep the TV from sliding left and right once it was positioned right. Also, the tilt function is friction based, which seems pretty common on these mounts, but usually lets the TV flop forward after a few uses. Again, adjust the tilt to where you like it, then tighten down the screws with an impact wrench, and don't adjust again. Lastly, the TV mounting plate is strangely not centered on the back wall-plate when fully closed. That's not really a problem, just adds complexity to mounting, especially when you need to get it perfectly centered inside a niche or something, or you can slide the TV slightly off center on the mount.
