Previous table was sagging under the weight of our 65" tv, but this table is not sagging.

I love the stand and it looks great for my 70 inch Visio TV.

The worst part of this furniture is those flimsy plastics that holds the glass door together. It either breaks easily or detaches the glass door every now and then when trying to open and shut the door. The magnetic things that hold the glass door shut also has some issues as in it doesnt stay de-pressed most of the time

Nice stand but it definitely takes some time to install.

This is a solid piece of furniture. Nice and heavy, built well, even has thick, pewter feet that look nice. But I knew right out of the gate while checking the parts before assembling, that there was going to be a problem - plastic hinges for the heavy glass doors. And not even hard plastic. Flimsy plastic like the kind you find in model airplanes. Its possible these were even 3D-printed. Everything went well, as I said, I'm impressed with how solid this stand is. Then came the moment of truth - as the last step, I started putting on the hinges and attaching them to the glass doors. As cheap as these hinges were, all seemed ok on the first door. Then... snap! The "clamp" inside of the last hinge broke, leaving me with a partially-hanging glass door. Why would you build such a fine piece of well-built furniture, only to cheap out on the hinges?

Terrible quality, the wood if you can even call it that is very flimsy and for me split while setting up however I was not rough at all during setup. I went for the insignia branded one and was amazed at the difference in quality despite similar prices. Trust me, do not buy this product.

I just bought this tv stand as part of my living room upgrade with the expectation that the geek squad would assemble it for me as part of the "whole room setup" package I bought with my TV. Well that was not the case... It turns out the geek squad wanted to charge a fee of $129.99 to build what they called "my furniture". There was no way I was paying that fee so I reluctantly decided to build this tv stand myself the day before my geek squad wall mount tv install. IT WAS SO EASY TO BUILD!!! everything went together seamlessly much to my surprise. the only tool i needed was a screw driver. (it is not recommended to use a drill except for maybe on the feet to make it go quicker). getting the glass doors to align exactly right was my biggest challenge but trial and error will eventually lead to success on that if you want them perfect like i do. i have definitely struggled putting things together in the past... but this unit is one of the easiest / well designed builds i've dealt with in a long time. This is my first Sonax product and I was pleasantly impressed. its from Canada just FYI... but yeah- thumbs on this.

Wife and I wanted a nice TV stand for our 60' Plasma that looked modern and did not cost a fortune. This stand while not 100% solid wood is very nice with a superb fit and finish and offers a great modern look. Assembly is easy and all the parts fit together perfectly with no gaps, scratches, dings, dents, etc.... The shelves have 3 different height positions they can go in and I chose dead center between top and bottom. All of my components fit perfectly in the spaces provided. My Cerwin Vega center fit exactly in the top center slot, my Denon AVR 1713 fit perfect in the bottom, and there were no issues with my Xbox 360, blue ray player, or Satellite receiver. Glass doors offer a great way to conceal components and still let remotes do their job without having to open doors. I did choose not to put the back on the stand as I found the holes not large enough and wanted better airflow so my AVR and Xbox did not overheat. I could have just cut bigger holes but the stand is against a black painted wall anyways. All in all I am 110% happy with this purchase. This stand gives me the look of a $1000+ TV stand and less than 1/3rd the cost.

I'm always used to purchasing the TV stand that comes with the TV. Now that Sony doesn't apparently do this anymore I was forced to find a TV stand that would fit my Sony XBR-65HX950 LCD. I narrowed my search down to about 10 models and Sonax kept coming up tops. I finally settled on this model (Sonax HC-5590) because of it's simple and elegant style. It is also the perfect width to fit my TV (literally to the inch). When you open the box the quality is immediately apparent. To be honest, I don't see a whole lot of difference in quality and materials from this TV stand to those that are selling for $1,000 or more. The Canadiens apparently know what they're doing! I was worried about this large of an item being damaged in transit. The packaging is very protected and it comes with four heavy duty protectors on each of the edges. You'll definitely need two people to help move it into position once you're done assembling it. My 65" Sony TV fits perfectly but if you were to go with say a 70" TV itwill probably stick out a few inches over each end. So, keep that in mind if you want to go over a 65" TV. Bottom line, save your money and go with this TV stand if you're struggling to find something that looks simple and elegant but doesn't blow the budget.

For the price, you can't go wrong. I got this for a STEAL with discounts so I can't complain. It's a little flimsy and the boards are kind of light... but it's a nice sleek stand that fits EVERYTHING in my entertainment system. The ports for cable mgmt could be setup a little better and the stand could be a little bit taller.

I just got this TV stand and I'm really enjoying it. My 60" Flat TV looks beautiful on it and it was not a pain to assemble. Plenty of room for my Xbox360, Games, Controllers, Apple TV, Time capsule, Fios box and router. The only negative remarks I've got and why I didn't give it the five stars: Watch out for some of the provided screws, they "strip" pretty easily, you need to be gentle with the screwdriver or you'll damage the screw's head. Also, I live in an apartment, it would've been nice if the delivery company helped taking the heavy box all the way into the apartment instead of just leaving it at the front desk.
