A good addition to the series if you've already played the other games. The overall art and music are of good quality except the 3D models can look a bit goofy at times. The story can also be a bit over-the-top but still enjoyable. The main weakness in the game is the slow load times and occasional lag that ruins the atmosphere of the game.

The latest entry of Heavenly Host Elementary saga

This game, like the title reads, is the latest, and LAST, entry in the Heavenly Host Elementary School saga. It is recommended that you play the previous two titles in the series before playing this third entry (Corpse Party and Corpse Party: Book of Shadows) both available on the PSN Store, in that order.
The games mentioned above (including Blood Drive) are VNs, or Visual Novels, in that you typically, as the player, press the confirm button to scroll through text and pictures. It's like reading a book, only with audio! However, the games include exploration and puzzle-solving elements, adding to the experience.
The game almost immediately refers to events from Book of Shadows when starting a New Game. After a long series of story cutscenes and dialogue, gameplay is available, wherein you'll control your character in a 3D environment, akin to the first Corpse Party. Familiar features include a party of characters to basically absorb damage before a Game Over appears, finding and using items around to solve puzzles and unlock doors, and just about anything else that makes a visual novel worth playing!
New features of this game include the flashlight mechanic, which illuminates the floor ahead of dynamically as you walk so as to avoid glass or spikes. Sometimes, enemies, zombies and ghosts will chase you, and to defend yourself, you can either use talismans to ward them off, or hide in closets, etc. A green reticle appears when hiding: a red reticle means they are nearby and you should not leave your hiding spot, yellow means they are somewhat nearby, and green means you're almost in the clear. No reticle means it's safe to come out. But beware! Though you may leave your hiding spot, they will still be in the area, so explore the game's field with caution.
Corpse Party: Blood Drive is a great VN for fans of the series, and while it does mention some aspects of 2U (an unreleased Corpse Party title), it is not required to understand the game. Newcomers should experience the first two titles, as previously mentioned, but should you dive into Blood Drive regardless, the game does it's best to explain the important plot elements to you as they come.
The Everafter Edition includes a soundtrack of 2 discs, and an artbook.
The soundtrack contains music from the first two Corpse Part titles on the first disc, with some tracks being ripped straight from the PSP games. The second disc contains music from Blood Drive.
The art book is a horizontal book with covers resembling those of the Book of Shadows. It contains art work from all three games, with some artwork depicting spoilers, so please take care.
Overall, a great buy, especially if you have Gamer's Club discount.

I had no idea of the Ever After Edition until it was released so if you are looking into this game try and get your self the Ever After Edition. It comes with the game, two disc soundtrack, and an amazing looking art book. You play as cute chibi characters in this horror game. It also has some great sound with headphones if you dare to try it out. Every choice you make will affect the ending so be cautious. I really enjoyed this game as all other handheld games I've tried.

You would need to play the first game to fully understand the story for this one. Also play with headphones for a better experience.

Corpse Party: Blood Drive is a creepy finale to the Corpse Party series that started out on the psp. The game is a visual novel with exploration thrown in. It is suspenseful and will keep you on the edge of your seat. The physical edition of the game comes with a 2 disc soundtrack and artbook.

Finally in rudimentary 3D the Corpse Party series comes to the PS Vita in a great way. This game continues the story told in the previous two PSP only titles.

I loved the first two Corpse Party games on the PSP. This is a long awaited and worthy follow up to those games and it's as scary and well written as ever.
Definitely pick this one up, especially for the soundtrack!

If you've played the first two games, you know what this one is all about. If you havent, I stronglt suggest you pickup the digital copies on either the PSP or PS Vita as its very story driven and connected to the prior two games.

With a pair of headphones and the lights out this is one of my new favorite obsessions. It does a great job of creating a dark and tense atmosphere but the story can feel a bit flat after the initial excitement fades.

If you have played Corpse Party before (on the PSP, but you can also play them on the Vita), then you MUST pick this up. It's a great continuation to the absolutely creepy series. If you are new, you may want to start earlier, but here's the gist--students go to their school to participate in a "seance" which brings all sorts of scary things to light. Some survive, some don't, and in the process, you will get creeped out (play this game wearing ear buds, if you dare). It's a slight RPG style, but more of a visual novel (with some gameplay elements) but still a lot of fun, especially if you like being scared.
