Flood prices have stopped. It's good again.

Not due to this becoming outdated (although DDR4 is far cheaper now and more motherboards are available in all sizes for them), but due to a flood occurring in the factory where they were made. This didn't just hit the corsair branded ones, but all of them, since RAM is generally created in one factory and rebranded by a bunch of different companies. Corsair is one of them. The heatsinks are nice, and look great in my build, but that's all they are. The same ram that's been dolled up just slightly. Now it's at a great price, if feel free to opt for just about anything different if looks aren't important to you or if your new PC won't have a window.

Excellent RAM for the price

The design of the chips makes for a very easy installation process and insertion into the motherboard is extremely simple. Highly recommended brand.

First Pack Purchased: Solid Experience
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Since my computer case has not yet arrived, I had to test my Corsair Vengeance chips out on an older system. Installing the memory chips was like butter. *snap, snap* Once I tapped the power button, the booting process (P.O.S.T.) took only a fraction of a second. All the start up applications were initiated upon a single exhale. My computer felt like it was anticipating my next move. As I clicked each icon, each application popped on instantly. It felt like my computer was five seconds faster than my clicks. Note: I installed a single 4GB (1600 mhz) RAM chip into a system with three 2GB (1333 mhz) RAM chips. Personally, I didn't even know that was possible. Since the system specs said there was a 8GB limit, I was caught off guard when all 10 GB showed up. Weird.

Excellent Product

Corsair memories are excellent. I have owned several of these and I have never experienced with a damaged one. Other Thoughts: The prices of memory really skyrocketed since the beginning of 2013.
