I'm an old IT guy who used to build PC's years ago for fun. My build specs are below. I haven't built custom PC's in years. It just wasn't worth it. I changed my mind about that when I saw this case. This case is huge, with plenty of fans and intake/exhaust for air. There are air intakes on the front, top, bottom, and rear. Each of those spots has a filter that is magnetically attached for easy cleaning/removal. There is one spot for a CD/DVD ROM, which I wanted for those rare occasions. There are more internal bay's than I'd ever need. Cable management is a breeze. This is the cleanest looking build I've ever done: Case: Corsair Carbide Series 678C CPU: Intel Core i9 Octa Core 3.6 GHZ CPU Liquid Cooler: Corsair H60 Motherboard: MSI MEG Z390 ACE Video NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 2070 Super Sound: Soundblaster Z Memory: 8Gig x 2 Corsair DDR4 3200mhz First m.2 Corsair MP600 Second m.2 Western Digital Black SN750 Power Supply: Corsair RM750

This case is quiet, roomy and quite large. It is built very well and thought out pretty well (although airflow is what others say - not as good as other quiet cases I think). Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase and I'd recommend it to anyone that is looking for a large ATX case with room for custom liquid cooling or many drives.

E-ATX Boards Fit Easiliy in This Case

I had purchased an ASUS ROG motherboard and found that it wouldn't fit in my old case. I ordered a full tower from Amazon which the reviews said would handle an ASUS e-ATX motherboard. The board didn't fit. The Best Buy employee led me to the Corsair Carbide Mid Tower and said it would do the job. It did. The board fit in easily. I had one small issue with the fans. The Corsair has a small printed circuit card with the fans attached. I couldn't figure out how to get the fans to turn. I decided to simply plug the fans into the motherboard and everything worked fine. The unit runs cool even when I tax the 95 Watt AMD Ryzen 2700X with heavy simulations. The instructions could be a bit clearer but I had no problems with fitting the boards and no problem with performance. If you just want a solid case for your e-ATX motherboard, you'll be happy with Corsair Carbide

Too big, not very good cooling

This case is designed to be quiet, and as such it does not have good cooling potential. If you use the top sound cover you really can't have any fans in the top of the case or they won't be able to work, and the front panel only has a tiny gap at the bottom for air to flow in. I have my computer sitting in the floor with medium/thick pile carpet, so the front panel intake is actually sitting on the carpet. Not only is there no airflow there, but it will also suck up all kinds of debris. I have no idea why Corsair did not allow for airflow on the sides of the front panel like NZXT does on their h510 cases. So yeah, it's probably going to be quiet, but it's also going to be hot. Lastly this case is so long, it would not fit under my desk. It's supposed to be a mid tower case, but with all those hard drive bays up front, it makes the case super long. I ended up returning mine and got the NZXT h510 Elite case instead.

Got for my husband. Has been a great case. Lots of room without being to bulky. Has made it easy to get in and update parts when needed as well.
