Good for big hands but 8k hz is kinda joke
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cool implementation of 8k hz but most of games do not support. Shape is very big and fits hands for 19x11 hand. Better deathadder shape in my opinion but clicks are bad and glide wasn't smooth

Great Mouse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been looking for a lightweight gaming mouse since having surgery to my right hand last December. At 69g, the Corsair Sabre Pro fits the bill perfectly. It never occurred to me that weight wasn’t the only thing I needed to be concerned about. This mouse has been a revelation! The mouse cord and buttons make a huge difference. The cord material is unlike any I’ve seen. It’s an extremely flexible featherweight paracord with a low-drag surface. The result is a mouse that moves with almost no resistance and stays where you put it. If you’ve ever experienced a mouse cord getting hung up on a desktop passthrough or the weight/tension of the cord limiting and resisting mouse movements, you know what I’m referring to; those days are over! The zero-gap QUICKSTRIKE buttons have a lightweight, near-zero tension and instantly register clicks which translates to noticeably less fatigue in my recently-operated hand. I love the mouse buttons! The documentation indicates the OMRON switches are rated for 50 million clicks, so I am envisioning many comfortable, happy years with my new Corsair Sabre Pro. The iCUE Software is intuitive and straightforward. It makes it simple to customize DPI settings, button mapping, and to create macros. The DPI of the X and Y axes can be adjusted independently or together in 1 DPI increments up to 18,000 DPI; needless to say, it can be tweaked to fit any need. The iCUE Software includes a surface calibration tool to optimize performance for your mousepad. It also allows you to coordinate RGB effects between supported Corsair products. On the bottom of the mouse there is a DPI Cycle Button that allows you to cycle through 5 customizable DPI settings; an adjacent LED changes colors (fully customizable) to clearly indicate the selected mode. As if that’s not enough, you can also adjust your DPI in +/- 50 DPI increments right from the mouse. Simply hold the DPI Cycle Button and press the Forward or Back buttons on the left side of the mouse. It is very convenient and works great. The mouse bottom also includes a Signature Strip. No kidding, you can truly make this mouse easily distinguishable and uniquely yours. My only complaint is the material the mouse is constructed of. It’s a basic textured plastic, and I have grown to prefer a rubberized finish on the sides of the mouse that offers improved grip and lessens effects from perspiration. I’ll either get used to it, or perhaps I’ll try cutting some grip tape to fit the desired areas. I’m just being nitpicky, and it honestly all comes down to personal preference. Otherwise, this mouse is perfect, and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Solid performance minus any flashy extras
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sabre Pro is a lightweight no frills gaming mouse. There is no fancy RGB lighting and no extra buttons aside from the back and forward buttons on the side. There is a single LED DPI indicator on the bottom that changes colors to indicate the selected DPI and is not visible when using the mouse. The preset DPI options are 400, 800, 1200, 1600 and 3200. The mouse is lightweight and easily handled. I weighed it on a food scale at 67.5 grams. By comparison, a generic OEM mouse weighed in at 55 grams and a wireless rechargeable notebook mouse weighed in at over 100 grams. The Sabre Pro has a nice ergonomic feel and my hands can rest easily without accidentally pressing the left or right buttons. The thumb rest area is also comfortable for my grip. Game performance is pretty good, particularly in FPS games as this was mouse designed for. The cursor tracks reliably and aiming is quick and accurate. The button switches feel solid and just right. I have no issues with accidental clicks, stiffness or unresponsive clicks. The only con I can find is that it would be better if the DPI button were available on the fly and didn’t require turning over the mouse to access. The mouse is also compatible with the Corsair iCUE app which allows button mapping and more granular DPI adjustments. The Sabre Pro may not be the flashiest looking mouse nor have numerous programable buttons but is a solid option for those who simply want a decent performing gaming mouse without all the flashy extras.

Great competitive mouse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Corsair Sabre Pro mouse is a solid upgrade when getting yourself into pc gaming. While it lacks in cool RGB lighting, it makes up for in ergonomical function and solid button control. Its design is simplistic, but crafted to help eliminate costly errors in game play. A noticeable difference is the mouse click pressure. It is a much stiffer click over a standard mouse and is great to help avoid accidental clicks that could lose you the edge, or the game. The center scroll wheel also has much stronger detents so you know exactly how much you scrolled so it helps stop unwanted weapon changes or scrolling too fast past your inventory. The mouse also comes with 2 side thumb buttons which feel very well placed and in a spot where you are less likely to accidentally click them during game play. The laser tracking is very precise and moves the cursor with such fluidity. It is much easier to line up a shot or another object, especially compared to a standard mouse. While this mouse is wired, it comes with a no tangle cable and is about a foot longer than a standard mouse cable, which gives more flexability to your kayboard/mouse set up and mobility. Overall, this mouse is a great upgrade for gaming from a standard mouse. It is simplistic and functional, and a great choice for a mouse that will have a hard time letting you down during a gaming session

If you like em lite this is your gaming mouse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Corsair Sabre Pro is a nice mouse for people looking for a lightweight gaming mouse. It is comfortable to hold, and it is as durable as other gaming mice. Due to its light weight, it moves smoothly across mousepads, tables, and a variety of angled and uneven surfaces, and the cursor tracks similarly smooth as well. It requires no extra software downloads to plug-and-play, and DPI can be changed on the mouse itself between 5 common presets. If you want more customization such as rebinding the mouse keys, more precise DPIs, surface calibration, and polling rate, you can download Corsair’s iCUE software which is compatible with the Sabre Pro. All of these settings in iCUE are simple to access, understand, and configure without needing to read a large manual. For the mouse key rebinds, you can map single keystrokes, multi-key macros, launch apps, control media players, and switch to other mouse profiles. However, due to the light weight the buttons are sensitive; in fact, there were multiple times when I was using the scroll wheel but by accident pushed it in to click it as the middle mouse button. While the sensitivity for the main mouse buttons can be helpful for clicking with a quick reaction time, if you aren’t prepared for the sensitivity it can throw you off in competitive games.
