Customers value the RGB lighting, Bluetooth connectivity, and long battery life of the Gaming K57 RGB Bluetooth Keyboard with RGB Back Lighting. Many appreciate the convenient macro keys, comfortable wrist rest, and the keyboard's overall ease of use. The backlighting features also receive positive feedback. However, some users found the customization software less than intuitive.

Its very customizable. You can set each key to any color you want. I just set mine to one static color because the rainbow wave setting is quite distracting in a dark room while gaming. Also very good for lefties since you can customize the play and pause buttons to serve as extra added macros for MMO games.

Not mechanical but the rubber dome feels fine for me. Wireless USB dongle and Bluetooth make this very versatile, along with USB plug in option which also charges the internal battery. Only issue is with the iCue software not keeping any color profiles while in bluetooth mode. Worth it for the money.

Worked great for 8 months - switched between the slipstream dongle on my gaming PC and the bluetooth on my work laptop really well. When I upgraded my PC the dongle stopped being recognized and there doesn't seem to be any way to replace it so I'm hardwired until I find one or replace the dongle.

Got this to be able to disconnect the keyboard when I leave so my toddler doesnt mess with it. The colors are great and easily changed through corsairs software, icue. the font for the letters took a little getting used to as it seems more futuristic then the basic font usually on keyboards.

Awesome budget keyboard and alternative to a true mechanical. It has a nice sound and the RGB is very clean. It's very responsive for being wireless. Excellent <100$ purchase. Using it for work makes the home office a little less dull too.

This keyboard is pretty sweet, love the lights, the feel, and the sound of it even. Charge it once a week and it lasts me all week. I am a graphic designer, not a pc gamer so I cant help in the gaming aspect of it.

Great keyboard. Haven't charged it yet and super easy to use. I just turn it off at night and use it almost every day. Didn't even take long for me to get used to and the buttons spring back super easy. Definitely recommend.

Great wireless, backlighting, and features

The Corsair K57 is truly a next generation product. It’s the first keyboard I’ve seen that incorporates bright backlighting in a wireless package. There have been others, but their back lights all have compromises or just really poor battery life. The K57 claims over 35 hours with backlighting on in a rechargeable package. That means you could type nearly an entire work week with this bad boy. Of course the K57 isn’t meant to be for work, being a dedicated gaming keyboard. The keyboard itself lacks some key features and build quality that set Corsair apart in the world of keyboards, so let’s dig in.
Firstly, the K57 claims to be a gaming keyboard without the wires. It offers a ‘Slipstream’ connectivity to a proprietary USB connector (which handily stores in the keyboard when not in use) as well as 2 bluetooth connections accessible via the Fn+F5-F7 keys. Besides this, when plugged in it connects as a normal wired keyboard while it charges. In practice, the wireless connection via the slipstream dongle seems about as solid as you could ask for. My keyboard is about 2 feet away from the receiver, and doesn’t struggle to connect. The bluetooth, at least in my limited usage, seems pretty good as well.
The lighting on this keyboard is really good. It’s bright, even on battery, and offers per key customization when plugged in. The wireless mode still offers control, but only to predefined effects. This still is more than what many wired backlit keyboards offer, but is a distinct limitation to the wireless mode. Especially missing is lighting link, which means it can’t sync with the rest of your peripherals. Instant mode works, and many of the pre-defined effects match what you’ll find on other Corsair products, so this is mitigatable. All this is configurable instantly and easily using Corsair’s iCue software (which has come a long way in the past couple of years). If you’re a Corsair connoisseur such as myself, it easily integrates with your ecosystem.
However, what is really surprising is how well the backlight works wirelessly. The default 15 minute sleep time seems excessive, but is an indicator of just how good the backlighting is at conserving power. Corsair’s Capellix LEDs are so efficient, that’s just how they roll. The real advantage here is that you get an experience similar to a wired keyboard for backlighting, without fancy sensors or getting to overly aggressive with power-saving features. At full brightness, the backlighting appears as bright or brighter than any keyboard I’ve owned, including the venerable K95. It offers 3 brightness settings and can turn off using the brightness button found between the gaming lock and macro record button.
The gaming key lock is effective, with the ability to disable additional keyboard combos, such as alt-tab or alt-f4 at the same time as disabling the windows key. The macro record is easily programmed, even in wireless mode just by hitting the ‘MR’ key, the ‘G’ key of which 6 are found on the left side of the keyboard and then hitting your sequence. When complete, just hit ‘MR’ again to save your macro. The macro is viewable in the iCue software, allowing you to tweak it, and/or modify it. This is one place I feel that Corsair is head and shoulders above most of its competitors: software. There is an old axiom: People who are really serious about software should make their own hardware. Corsair has taken that to heart.
Now, most keyboards that offer themselves up as gaming keyboards come with mechanical keys. The K57 is most definitely not mechanical keys, but membrane. I won’t belabor the idea of mechanical switches and gaming are necessary, in fact, I don’t believe they are. Membrane keyboards got a bad rap back in the day for several reasons. The most important of those reasons is that membrane keyboards, while inexpensive and durable against liquid spills fundamentally have trouble registering multiple keys at once. Keys with ‘n’ key rollover (which most, but not all mechanical keyboards feature), allow you to put your fingers on say all the number keys on the top row, and push them down. You’ll end up with 0-9 in a variant order. On the K57 you two numbers, one from 1-4, and another from 5-0 if you’re lucky. Performing this test rapidly may trigger a different keystroke as well. Try this on the letters and you’ll find that Corsair has attempted to mitigate this problem, as home row appears to be pretty resilient against this behavior. The top and bottom alpha rows seem about as susceptible to ghosting as the number row, but at least appears to be a higher tier membrane setup.
Now build quality and durability are where I have the most concerns for the K57. It is plastic, and feels somewhat flimsy. This doesn’t come across during typing, but during movement. The plastic frame bends and the top layer seems to be able to detach from the bottom when lightly pulled. The ‘rubber’ wrist rest (which is a plus!) feels more like soft plastic than rubber. The keycaps are removable, but I’m not aware of any standard replacements. The general durability of membrane keyboards is in question here too, but nicely made membrane keyboards can last years too - so time will tell.
There are so many positives here, but also disappointment in the key choice and overall build quality. I’m not certain if the circuitry required for mechanical keys would pull too much power, or if it is simply the question of commercial viability of a wireless mechanical gaming keyboard at a price point that consumers could swallow. In the end, the K57 feels like a set of compromises for the feature set and price point. The standout features here are wireless, battery life, and backlighting despite the two former points. It is undoubtedly engineered around these design goals. However is this important to the gamer? That depends I suppose on their needs. Wireless mice bring freedom of movement from a cord. But a wireless full size keyboard brings mostly aesthetic advantages. However, in a living room scenario, this might be right compromises, as the wires could be a problem. In fact, my pairing with a gaming PC in my media room allows me to use my projector for gaming. If you’re aware of the limitations, this is an amazing wireless keyboard.

It has a mushy quiet feel to it. Kinda a step down if you were using mechanical keyboards before. Doesn't have that satisfying click. Didn't want to pay more for one with mechanical plus black lighting. Really getting what you paid for though.
Comes with a USB receiver and a charging cable. Been using it on and off for a week now and I've not needed to charge it once yet.
Using it as a substitute because I don't want people tripping over any cords as I've decided to connect a gaming computer to the living room's TV. Everything works and does the job but feels very lackluster.
I'll update the review when I get more time with the device.

pros: respond time is very fast depending on which settings your using
Very light weight, holds a charge for a good amount of actual use time.
Rgb, looks great the patterns sync well with Corsair software.
Easy to use with 2.6ghz or Bluetooth options.
Smooth design, and nice programmable macro buttons
Quiet key presses so you don't annoy anyone with loud clicks if that's important to you
Cons:
Mainly the keys, they feel pretty good but not like a mechanical keyboard I'm use to.
They stick a bit but maybe because it's new and I haven't broken it in or use to it.
It's not a deal breaker but they feel less satisfying than my mechanical keyboard.
All in all for the price and convenience it has over wired. It's well worth it
