Keys are quiet, no clickety clackety constantly ringing in my ears when using my open-backed headphones. This keyboard types even quieter than some membrane keyboards I've used before, and it takes little time to adjust to the raised keys for typing. The USB passthrough port is super convenient, and while Corsair's iCue software can be tricky to use, once you figure it out you can customize this keyboard to the moon and back. RGB is optional, this keyboard is great with or without it. Though if you dig through iCue's files, you can get pre-existing patterns for games like Far Cry 5 that give cool patterns such as the American Flag on your keyboard!

Pros: The keyboard itself is amazing. It works well and was by far the most silent mech keyboard on the market. Its even quieter than some membrane keyboards I have used. Very reliable and the lighting was perfect. Cons: The only bad thing about this board, which actually lead me to return it was the wrist rest. This keyboard, along with most mechanical keyboards, is pretty thick. While this may not bother some people, for me I need a wrist rest to help compensate for the added height. I own a K95 that I use for work and thought the wrist rest would be close to that. However, it was a good inch shorter. This lead to my palms resting on the desk pretty much making the wrist rest a moot point. It's sad because it's an amazing board and if they just used the same rest as they do on the K95 it would be prefect. I even tried 3rd party rests but couldn't find one that felt right so I returned it for another K95 with MX browns.

This keyboard looks great and feels great to type on. Works well with the icue software. My only problem is at this price point I think they should of included a better wrist rest. The one they included is just plain plastic. It's not a big issue but my old razor keyboard came with a padded one.

I absolutely love this keyboard. I had the original Strafe, and ended up buying the MK2 because of how much I loved it. The Lighting effects are great, especially if you have other Corsair RGB products to sync. The changeable key caps are very nice, and you can choose from several different setups. The best part has to be the silent mechanical keys and that is why I originally purchased the Strafe. With the MK2, they perfected the MK1 design by moving some buttons around the top, adding media player buttons, and adding the beauitful RGB Corsair logo at the top. I highly recommend this keyboard and bring it up in nerdy conversations constantly.

Exactly what I wanted. Mechanical keyboard that lights up, has good feedback and is quiet. I always disliked the clackity clack of other gaming keyboards.

My son loves the new keyboard. Colors are bright and the keys are (somewhat) silent. The software isn't the easiest to understand, but once it's setup everything was good.

This is one of the best keyboards I have ever used for gaming! Very responsive as well as looks great! Very good make with metal on front and back of board. Able to control using iCue software. The keys are silent but still makes some clicking which is great for audio feedback while playing but is not annoying. Only thing that I would change is the cord that connects to computer is bulky and doesn’t lay in a straight line and has separate usb for keyboard and feed through port. Make sure you have enough ports open.

I can't say enough great things about this keyboard! The many color options you have and the many color effects you have to choose from is amazing. The coolest thing about this keyboard is the way it interacts with certain games like Diablo 3 and Terraria. Very cool how the colors change with environment or weather in Terraria. In Diablo it lights up the whole keyboard red and keeps your spell keys lit up white. When you're about to die the keyboard starts toppulse letting you know and many other cool effects. I highly recommend this keyboard!

I'm a heavy writer and also avid gamer. This keyboard is perfect, as it doesn't upset my colleagues next to me, but also gives me the responsiveness I need for FPS gaming. The distance you actually have to press the key is also quite low, which is great because you can really relax the hands while you are typing. The RGB lighting is everything I hoped it would be. The only thing I wish was improved is the palm/hand rest. It is a bit small for even my very small hands.

Love this keyboard! Bought one for my boyfriend and myself for Christmas. We are both late night gamers and don't have a separate room to keep our gaming computers. So we sometimes will want to game when the other needs to sleep... needless to say our last set of mechanical gaming keyboards made us both wanna throw things at the other person when trying to sleep. Not anymore. It's not completely silent but the reduced amount loud clicking doesn't keep me up when he's playing and vise versa. Only thing I wish it had was a set of macro G keys on the left like the other none silent models. That would make this keyboard perfect in my opinion. But none the less we both love it. Very responsive and goes great with my corsair gaming mouse and headphones.

It's crazy what keyboards cost now days and how much we'll pay to see our kids smile. However, this keyboard is really nice and quiet. The RGB is amazing!

i love this keyboard. I believe this was one of the better keyboards I have ever owned. It’s is the most quiet keyboard I have ever used, They key response is great, and with the software, you can light up they keyboard in many ways.

Much quieter than my other Corsair KB. I like how the colors sync up with some games.

I purchased this keyboard coming off of a Razer Blackwidow X and am extremely happy. The main selling point for me with this keyboard was the silent keys which I feel are quieter than Razer's stealth switches. The overall look and feel of the keyboard is impressive. The addition of the wristrest and swappable keycaps for the WASD keys along with the cap removal tool is a nice plus. I have no regrets with this keyboard would definitely purchase another Corsair in the future.

This keyboard works pretty well. It’s easy to use, quiet and takes a very very soft touch to work. Great for gaming.
