Make sure your windows audio is set at the highest level, not talking about volume in windows, talking about the rate at which the audio is sampled at. Be sure to get corsairs program to fine tune the sound on these or they'll be in stereo mode until you do. I can hear things I didn't even know existed in games.

The weird shape just feels weird. The main thing is that the volume doesn't get too loud. I maxed the volume on the headset and on my system and still quiet. Unfortunately, I had to return.

Great headset, Terrible Cord
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: Great sound, super comfortable headphones, great mic quality, easy to install on computer and customize Cons: The cord is AWFUL. I don't know if this a common problem with this product, but my corded headset constantly will kink up the cord. The cable will still kink up even after straightening out. If you want a good corded headset buy something that has a better cord, the material this one is made in is really bad for kinking up and getting in knots
