Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the superb sound quality and comfortable design of the Gaming VOID PRO RGB USB Wired Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset. Many appreciate the reasonable price and the effective microphone. While some found the fit and cord length less than ideal, and a few noted the weight and bass response could be improved, the positive feedback on sound and comfort outweighs these concerns.

I did a lot of exploring online before I bought these. Many you tubers had mixed reviews about this but I’m glad I didn’t listen! The RBG aspect is fun but not practical as you can’t see the lights while you’re wearing the set. They’re fairly light and very comfortable over the ears. Only bad thing I can say about it is they can fall off relatively easy if you shake your head a lot or have to jerk your head downward to pick something up. I bought these for 79 dollars and they’ve been totally worth it. Sound quality is pretty good and I haven’t had any complaints of my voice being too low or distorted while playing. I’d definitey recommend these. Also buy the wired ones as the RBG wireless ones battery dies too quickly!!

I am very picky about my headphones, and needed the earcup style because regular ones put too much pressure on my ears and are incredibly uncomfortable very quickly. I chose the Corsair Void Pro because it had the earcup style, the USB connection, and integrated mic. I find it to be very comfortable to wear even for several hours, the sound is crisp, and it doesn't cause any ear pain during extended use. I like the built in mute for the mic and volume switch for the headphones, which easily allows me to change the volume on the fly without needing to tab back to Windows. I sometimes use VoiceAttack, so having these two features is very handy if I don't feel like using voice commands while still getting the benefits of VA during game play. The only downside for me is that the headphones are a tiny bit big on me, so they can feel a little loose. However, if I'm using the headphones with VR, this looseness does make it very easy to fit the headphones over the head straps on my VR unit, during which time it feels like a perfect fit. Being able to change the lighted logo on the sides to different color patterns is pretty nifty as well. The Corsair VOID Pro is a great product if you're looking for something that falls between a basic pair and the ones that go for hundreds of dollars.

Ok, so I have a gripe with some people's review on this product. A lot of people are complaining how the VOID PRO will easily fall off of your head when you move around. They are not incorrect, the VOID PRO is loose fitting. However for a gaming headset, I do not see how this is a con. I don't know of any gamers, including myself that will rock out to music with a gaming headset on. If you are gaming, you are not moving your head around that much. In fact, it being loose fitting is perfect for me because other gaming headsets that fit tighter would make me sweat and feel uncomfortable after a while. The VOID PRO is also significantly cheaper than the majority of gaming headsets on the market. Definitely a great product. If you are gaming, this will be perfect for you; if you're going to rock out to music, you shouldn't be looking at a gaming headset in the first place.

I bought the Corsair VOID PRO to replace my PS4 set I'd been using on my computer using a 4 pole to USB converter that wouldn't function with mic and audio at the same time, and I was wanting to use a mic for audio commands in game. The Corsair VOID PRO uses a USB connection and worked for me pretty much out of the box, both mic and audio, with no need for any specific software or drivers. The speakers are surrounded by a deep, padded cushion that is very comfortable and completely encases my ears without any pressure on the ear cartilage itself. This is fantastic if, like me, you have stretched ears and/many ear piercings as it avoids pressing against the jewelry, which can become painful after only a short time. The earpads also help reduce external noise that could distract you from your game, but they aren't as good as noise-canceling. The headband has a lot of adjustment capabilities, though for me having it on the smallest size is still a tad bit big on me- I am 5'4", but whether or not someone else at my height would also find the VOID PRO to be slightly big, I couldn't say. This hasn't been a problem for me in the long run as I can tilt the headphones a little bit to make up for that slight laxity. Due to my computer set up, I found that the USB cable was a little shorter than I needed, so I had to add a USB extension. This has not interfered with the audio or mic quality. Lastly, the Corsair iCue software allows you to choose from many preset color patterns, though since there's only two spots that light up (one on the outside of each cup), the patterns aren't going to show up as well as they do on other Corsair gear. This isn't a downside for me, but some people may like to know before they make a purchase.

Having used these for about two months now, I can say that they have remained comfortable, don't make my ears all sweaty; and have very good sound. Out of the box, the microphone is quite excellent, it's muffled and dead sounding until you make changes to the EQ. Once you do though, they come alive very well. Think of them as Boomy Grado e80i's. A sound I think many will like. They are on the heavy side, with a VERY robust headband; but I've never had them feel bad or hurt my head at all. Mute switch on left earcup, with a lighted indicator right near the microphone tip. A requirement for my purchase, I like being able to see out of the corner of my eye when I'm muted. Try these EQ settings, and twiddle the 32/64hz sliders to get more BOOM. https://i.imgur.com/MRAtZPk.png

The sound quality is excellent. The controls are easy to use and are somewhat customizable, allowing different equalizer sets to be easily changed at the push of a button. The RGB LED does lack a little bit as far as lighting effects, but it does come with different brightness settings, which I liked. The corded version does tend to be a bit short if you sit further away from your device, but it works just fine over a USB extension cable. As far as gameplay performance, I was able to tell how far away someone was and what direction they were running in Battlefield 4 based off of their footsteps. The surround sound is quite accurate, but the back does lack, only a small amount.

I have bought 4 pair of these over the course of 3 years. One pair fell victim to children, as they are decent quality they get a real test in the hands of a 10 year old. My original set i broke the mic off but after a year. Regular use in my house is 6-10 hours a day, so I'd say they are put to the test. Bang for buck these are some of the most comfortable, cheapest, great sounding headset you can get. RGB lights make them look higher tech, increasing cool factor. I may have a slight bias towards Corsair as I have always bought their products over others. Keyboards, mouse, headsets, mouse pads, power supplies, RAM, all corsair, in all my machines. ++++ I would give 5 stars except there is a known issue with these as with many other USB headsets, There is NO SIDETONE. Even thought you'll find options for sidetone and if you literally stick the mic in your mouth and scream, it doesnt exist.

I've tried a few different headsets and been around the block with the Logitech brand. This headset definitely tops any of the Logitech headsets in durability and sound quality within the same price range. It has sturdy metal and hard plastic components and should last for a couple years more than my previous headset.

These are quite the good headphone set. They sound great in my opinion, the best out of all the headphones I have tried so far. I particularly like how the user is able to adjust everything about the headphones, to the light emitting from the corsair logo on both sides to adjusting the very sound to your personal liking. I have also dropped these several times and they still work, meaning they are quite durable. I'm not sure about the mic, as I have never used them. The mic is bendable and can either be on the side or in front of your mouth. Also able to be turned off or on by pressing the button on the left earphone. The cushion on the headphones are also quite comfortable, and are a good shape for going over your ear. All in all, I highly recommend this product to those who are looking for quality, comfortable over-ear headphones.

I went from the Razer Kraken Pro V2 to the Logitech G430 and finally to this. I love the comfort of this headset, it's not as great as the Razer Kraken Pro V2, but it's still amazing. It fits well for wide heads and the ear pads are over the ear. The sound is amazing and honestly is better than the other two headsets I've tried. The best part is that if you use the program that is free to download, the sound can be customized and gets even better! The aesthetics are a plus too, full RGF control and slick looking angles. Another plus is the notch for volume control on the left side of the headset and a mic mute button which is very convenient.

Hands down the best headphones I've ever had. I'm sure the wireless ones are just as good. I just prefer wired because it's more reliable just like wired mice and wired internet. The sound quality is 10/10, the features, down to the LEDs is awesome, and the software you download with it make it customizable really easily. Great great great product!

I switched from a Razer Kraken headset to this Corsair headset. The transition was difficult. I almost returned this headset, but decided to give them a chance. -Pros Fully customizable within iCUE EQ presets are good Lightweight Mic works and sounds great Movies, Netflix, etc. sound better than I expected them to with a 7.1 headset -Cons The fit feels loose, it doesn’t grip the way my Razer Kraken did. The mic boom doesn’t move, there’s no way to stow it, which sucks. They feel kinda cheap. More flimsy that what I am used to. The head and ear foam cushions feel like what I had on my first Sony Walkman tape player in 1989....honestly, this is my biggest complaint about this headset. There are better, more comfortable materials out there than this, but I guess paying $64 out the door is not going to get premium materials. I’ll get over it This is a good headset, I’m glad I bought it. I don’t touch the Razer anymore, which tells me this is a better product for me. I doubt I’d buy this specific headset again though.

These are comfortable to wear and light so they’re perfect for wearing for long sessions. Sound quality is very good and the iCUE software offers a lot of customization. It comes with 5 built in EQ profiles to choose from and around 16 different color presets for the RGB lights on the sides. Highly recommend these if you want a good quality gaming headset at a fair price I prefer these over the wireless since I never have to worry about charging them.
