I built a new PC with an i7 8700K and wanted to use a water cooler in case I decide to experiment with overclocking. This cooler is amazing! At stock speeds, my CPU hasn't gone above 40° no matter what game I'm playing and idle temps are always ~30°. This cooler will not disappoint, just remember you need an internal usb 2.0 header to plug into for lighting effects. The only thing I'd change is making the coolant lines a little more flexible. If I had used a full size case I probably wouldn't have even mentioned it, but since it's a midsize case, I had to be a little creative with mounting it.

This is the 3rd AIO from corsair i have purchased, and I have never needed to use any other. Simple to install cooler, great for OC or as a stable everyday cooler.

Best AIO ever for the price that its listed at. Corsair is an amazing from gaming cases to cpu cooler to memory. Everything is top notch with them

Keeps my CPU running nice and cool. Make sure your tower is able to fit this. It can make for some tight squeezes but the product runs smooth, quite and does it's job well.

Super easy to install and works as should! Had mine for about 2 years before it broke but that was the V1. Best bang for your buck! Great for Intel and must have for AMD.

Easy to install. Only problem is my case is small, to I will have to either get a new case or modify the case to support the long cooling lines. Works very well and gets the job done.

It's a great unit if you need a quiet system! Cool even when overclocking and it fit smoothly in my computer case. I'll be buying another soon for one of my friends.

Awesome cooler runs cool and quiet if you install their corsair link. Super easy to install in mid/full towers. Went from idling at 40c stock to bellow 30 with a 1ghz OC

Ok, so I bought a defective one (without knowing) and did an exchange later. Pretty easy installation and everything. Absolutely love the whisper quiet fans. Cables are very stiff allowing a long shelf life. I would recommend this to anyone

Really doesn't cool much better than air coolers 1/3 the price. But it is quiet. Started with it on my 4960k, had to swap out brackets, which were included and it was pretty simple. Wouldn't allow much of an overclock (temps rose to quick). But its a 6 core 12 thread, 140w chip so wasn't expecting much. When I got my custom cpu block for custom liquid system, I moved this unit over to my media pc with amd 8350. Allowed slight overclock while keeping temps pretty standard. This cooler runs quiet, have had several of these throughout the years. Just make sure you keep an eye on it, for leaks. But no catastrphies thus far, but do replace them every 2 years.

Wanted good cooler for 7600k build. With this and a z270e board, I was able to get an auto overclock over 5ghz. Chip is nice and cool and I never hear the pump.

Using on a notorious hot FX 9590. Runs very cool and quiet. Looks clean on any build. Corsair RGB was a Benefit I was not made aware until it showed up.

Cools my overclocked amd fx8350 extremely well. It usually runs hotter then most processors too. Super quiet and i don't even have to turn my fans up

I love this cooler. The reason why 4 stars.. The fans that come with it are horrible and loud. Be prepared to buy different fans.

I couldn't get my processor stable with air cooling, but I switched to this cooler and instantly everything improved. It's quiet and easy to install.

Great cooler and easy to setup, only thing not making a 5 star is the fans could be a little better. Otherwise I will continue to stick by corsair.

Have not had a single issue with CPU heat since install, and this being a self-contained unit makes it so much easier to recommend.

This cooler works really well for my i7. Just make sure you have plenty of mounting room for the radiator. It is quite large with the fans attached.

This is the best CPU cooler I have ever had. Now my FX 8350 overclocked to 4.7 idles as low as 15c.

Surprising performance from a heatsink that is far thinner than any of the artic freezer series. Cools down a 6800k @ 4.4 Ghz with no issues
