This is my first liquid cooler and it was very easy to install and is super quiet. It comes with good thermal paste on the bottom so no need to purchase separately.

Installed easily. Quiet. Maintains CPU below 75C during heavy gaming. (Tomb Raider - MAX, Skyrim - MAX). Very satisfied. Would definitely recommend.

I bought this cooler to cool my ryzen 2700x. It does a great job. it keeps my cpu when i am gaming around 120f. fans are quiet cooler pump is quiet. Only gripe is the software . it sucks. it doesnt work well with the new chipsets. it reads my cpu temp like 200 degs C. other than that. the software lets you switch pump speeds and colors of the logo. its a good cooler my h105 was retired die to leaking tubes . it was 5 years old.

I was a little bit intimated by the idea of setting up a water cooler, but this thing was super easy to install (watch videos if you get confused) and has dropped my temps by a substantial margin.

Purchased this product for my mini-itx build gaming rig. Idle temperatures average around 88 degrees Fahrenheit. My experience w/ Corsair Link, on the other hand has been awful. The software does not recognize the pump and fans even after uninstalling/re-installing it many times. Due to this problem, I am unable to change the RGB color on the pump or change any of the fan settings. After doing some research, it seems like this is a problem with many users. Instead of using Corsair Link, I would suggest adjusting your fan controls in your bios.

I use several different Corsair products Memory,Keyboard ,Mouse and Case fans, all have been excellent quality. The h100i gtx is another very good product from Corsair. My 4790 cpu temps with the stock cooling were going above 70c under load now it only gets into the low 30s while running the i100 in balance mode. I don't find it any louder than the stock fan was, it may even be a little quieter. That being said the only thing that is weak about it is that the link software needs some work, but they are still putting out updates for it. so that will probably be fixed.

My previous water cooler was a generic no name from a company that pre builds computers. It was capable of holding my temps around 40c while under heavy gaming load and 50c when stress testing with synthetic benchmarks. This new water cooler has changed the game in terms of cooling. My temps now sit at 24c wile gaming and 32c under the synthetic benchmark. It should be noted that my cpu is a 8320 and the temp sensor is caculated with an equation rather than a thermal probe. Couldn't be happier! Kinda tempted to rig one up to my graphics card just for the giggles.

I will tell you that this vs a huge CPU cooler fan, the noise is almost none compared to it. It cools my CPU like a champ. Also wanted to point out that the corsair "link" is a different program than the one used for the keyboard and mice/headphones. Which I didn't really like. Overall it's a must buy, and yeah, way easier to install than a fan.

Best Cooler, Awesome Look

I have had lots of different coolers throughout the years, and I have built many computers. This cooler however, has overcome all expectations that I have had about it. I'm very picky and hard to please when it comes to my computer and the hardware that I install in it. This cooler has not let me down.
Many times especially when using the stock cooler, I have tried them out and they just don't perform like I expect them to. They will do their job, but they don't do it great. This time, I figured I would spend the extra money and really get the one I want and know that it is going to do what I need it to do.
Not only does it perform exceptional, but it also looks awesome. I have had many people look into the clear section I have on the side of my case and see the cooler and just be amazed at how well everything looks. I spent a lot of time on this system and I have gotten many compliments on how it looks. The ability to change the color of the "Corsair" symbol on the cooler is really nice as well. I have it red to match the rest of my computer. Between my case and this cooler, even under heavy load, my processor never really reaches of 35 degrees Celsius. I have seen it come to 40 a couple of times, but then almost right away you can see it go right back down. I have a monitor on the front panel of my system that shows all of that as it is part of my motherboard. It also stays really quiet, it can get noisy, but that is if you crank everything up. I usually keep it in quiet mode and once in a while when I'm playing crazy games, or doing something that requires the processor to work hard, you'll hear it speed up, but for the most part, you don't hear it all that much. I have a Cooler Master HAF X case which also has a lot of air flow so that probably helps as well, but all together, this cooler has done an awesome job at keeping this processor cool and running at it's best.
If you are looking to have a stylish looking computer, and one that you could overclock even. This is what you are looking for, this cooler will not disappoint.

I am a part time system builder. Mainly I build hackintosh systems for friends and family. I am always looking for the best way to keep systems as cool as possible. Case's are a big part, but the most important component is always the CPU's cooling mechanism. I still use fan/heatsink combos from time to time when there are budgetary constraints, But I do try to include on of the Corsair liquid cooling systems in each build. In fact I have one installed in my personal system as well. Temperature is so critical to CPU performance, and I stress that on every build I do. The reason for my choice are as follows: 1. it's a very simple installation saving me a ton of time over a traditional custom liquid cooling system. 2. it's a closed loop system, so no need to replace water - ever! 3. being closed loop, there is a VERY low possibility of a leak which could damage other components. Overall: one of my favorite cooling solutions. I would HIGHLY recommend these units to anyone considering liquid cooling for the processor.

A great improvement, some growing pains

Well, an all-in-one liquid cooler is, generally, an improvement on air coolers. 240mm+, that is.
I've seen drastic decreases in CPU temperature since installation, even using the "quiet" profile that keeps both the fans and pump turned down. I'm using an AMD Ryzen 7 1700 overclocked to 3.8GHZ at 1.35 volts (I could get it lower, but this is super stable), and while I would previously idle in mid-high 40s (celsius), I'm not idling in the high 20s to low 30s. When the fans and pump ramp up, the delta between the included wraith spire and the H100i V2 gets larger.
Now the downside. The pump supports AM4. It DOES NOT INCLUDE the AM4 bracket. If you can catch them in-stock, Corsair will ship you one for free. It didn't take mine very long at all to arrive. On the other hand, they tend to be out of stock due to the sheer number of orders for those brackets. Bear this in mind. It happens where there is a new socket around, they'll get it sorted and this part of the review will be irrelevant.
Do bear in mind that your CASE needs to support a radiator, not just the CPU. Try some test-fits. I wanted to put my radiator as an intake, but the tubes were not long enough to reach well in my mid-tower (but the Corsair Vengeance C70 does not support a front rad, just a top and bottom, and the bottom is too far to reach without going over the graphics card)

I'm new to the water coolers, but I bought CORSAIR - Hydro Series 240mm Liquid CPU Cooler a month ago and I'm very pleased with it. I went to water cooler over air cool, because the new air coolers are a bit big and I didn't want the CPU cooler over towering the rest of the build. I have this cooler paired with I7 8700K on a Asus Z370-E MB. My processor is over clocked and at low loads the processor stays around 23C to 26C and when I have a load on it like playing some online and non online games the temp is around 53C to 56C with the fans at 60% power. I have never seen it go to 60C or above except when I did a stress test on the cpu, but that is excepted during a stress test. After the stress test it went back to 25C within a couple of seconds. I didn't install the fans that came with it since I wanted LED fans so I can't tell you if the fans are quite or loud.

I picked this up to go in my Corsair Air 240 case. The case is a small one and couldn't fit any of the large air coolers that I wanted to use. This was the first waterblock that I've ever installed and it was super easy to do. Keeps my temps to a minimum and is quiet to boot.

The best way liquid coolant was described to me was in terms of air conditioning. Would you rather have a fan in your room to try to cool you down with the hot air already in your room. Or would you like to have a machine that produces cold air and blows it through your room? I think most people would pick the latter. My cousin never gets above 34-35 degrees and I can play for hours on end with no fear of overheating.
