This thing works as advertised. I took off the stock thermal paste and put on some Arctic Silver and temperatures never get past 60c while playing doom on ultra. Easy to install and relatively quiet. Definitely will be putting this in any other builds I do in the future.

This cooler works excellent with my overclocked 6600k. Keeps temps very low, and is very quiet. The lighting effect on the cooling block is a nice touch. I added an extra fan for a push/pull effect on one side of the radiator. Thought about adding another but temps are great.

The unit was easy to install and runs quietly. It easily cools my 6 core CPU. The mounting screws are smaller than those normally used to mount fans in a case; therefore, give it some thought if you going to use standard fan size holes in your case to mount the unit.

I had an old system I built back in 2013 that I wanted to give a bit of an update too. Bought a ram upgrade, a GTX 1050 ti, and bought this cooler to add to my dated i5 2500k. On air I was overclocking my cpu to 4.2 and was hitting temps right around 60c on about 50% load which was obviously not ideal. Now with this cooler I am overclocking at a stable 5.1 and have not seen my temps go over 60c even on 100% load. For 100$ and some change I would recommend this to anyone. I would like to point out though that the radiator is HUGE! If you have anything smaller than a full size tower I would maybe check out a smaller rad. My Mid size case had issues with the radiator placement. I had to zip tie on side of the radiator to the top of my case because no matter what configuration I tried to have it in the holes just would not line up. Just something to keep in mind.

Excellent CPU cooler - Corsair Hydro Series 240mm

I have used several of these CPU coolers in other system builds and have found they work effortlessly without issues for years. An additional benefit is that Corsair link software pulls temp stats from all the sensors in the system. The CPU cooler has a USB connection which allows temp monitoring. Good value for the money. I'm using a Haswell-E and the CPU uses 140 watts and the CPU temp is 25.2 C.

Corsair - Hydro Series 240mm Liquid Cpu Cooler

This is a great CPU cooler, Either with Intel or AMD cpu's. It will keep you cpu cooler and insure your cpu stays cool, for long hours of gaming or just regular apps. It runs very quietly. I do recommend following the directions too the tee. Installation is not really hard. It might require a little time, ie removing the mother board from the case to install the support for the liquid cooler. It has both software and manual controls for setting the pump speed. You might have to go into your computers bios to setup advanced fan speeds. It has great support and Corsair offers great tech support. If you lack the skills the Geek guys can install it for you, the cost is worth it in the long run and helps manage heat build up in pc. Result is your hardware last longer, which means less out of pocket in the long run.

Needed to cool down a streaming / gaming pc. This certainly did the job. Installation was easy as the unit is completely self contained. Quiet fans and test showed a significant drop in CPU temperature even under heavy load.

I wanted to see what the whole water cooling hype was about and I can honestly say I'm very happy with my purchase. Temperature wise my system runs about the same as it did with my evo 212 in push pull. However, it is now almost dead silent, which is what I was looking for!

I have this on my 4790k oc'd to 4.5 ghz and it keeps the processor about 5 degrees Celcius above room temp which is awesome compared to my h100i that was about 10 or so degrees aboce room temp. If you don't want to do a customer loop I would highly recommend this.

Had to go out and buy this cooler because I lost mounting brackets for my H55 so keep that in mind when you buy one of these. Even if you don't need some mounting hardware you should keep it around just in case. Check your case specs too before you buy this it's a dual 120mm radiator meaning you need to have space for 2 120mm fans in your case side by side. If you don't know what a 120mm fan is this product probably isn't for you. Other than that corsair makes it nice and simple to mount and setup and they include a useful cable to connect your pump to the motherboard through a USB 2.0 port to monitor it which is always nice. It's also plenty quiet. Overall a great product.

The Perfect Cooler for My Setup

I run this cooler in a Corsair 460X, on an Intel i7-7700K that I've delidded and relidded with Liquid Metal, running an overclock to 4.8GHz with a core voltage of 1.155 volts. The radiator is set up in the front of my tower in a push / pull configuration with three Corsair SP120 fans in push, and the two stock 120mm fans of the cooler in pull. Under full gaming load, I rarely ever go over 60C.
There's not much else to say. The build quality is excellent, and it performs like a top in my setup. I absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a 240mm radiator.

The Corsair Hydro series does a great job keeping the temperature down, even when it's over clocked. They do have a glitch and the first one stopped working in about 6 months. If you have patience, the company will warranty it, but it takes about a month, so you might want to be prepared to have a back up plan if not a second one on hand when/if you have to wait while replacing it.
