I use a 4.0 ghz devil's canyon intel processor. It keeps it at 34 degrees Fahrenheit idle and 45-50 under load. If you use a high end processor like mine, you may want to invest in a better cooler. However, this one is quite serviceable for any medium-high end build.

    Tale of caution

The cooler itself looks awesome, is easy to set up, and performs great under normal circumstances I'd give this four stars. Now to explain why I didn't.. After a few weeks of being in service, one of the hoses on the CPU end decided to pop out.. spraying the internals of my computer. I often leave my system on for extended periods as I run gaming servers for my son and his friends. I came home to find the system on, hose popped out, and a weird maple syrup smell in the room. I contacted Corsair and am waiting for a reply to see what the next recommended action is. I don't have a second cooler to see if my board/CPU is still functional. I'm not touching anything until Corsair fills me in on their procedures. My hope is Corsair handles this properly. Their product failed and potentially may have damaged my two week old I7-6700K CPU and possibly other expensive components. My key questions: What is in the coolant water and how/can it be properly cleaned from a system in this situation? Does Corsair cover the entire system in the even of failure, or do they just replace the failed cooler and expect the customer to foot the bill for any damage caused by failure of their device? I suspect I may just be having a run of bad luck. Most users don't have this issue I suspect. Whether I'd consider this a decent product or whether I'd recommend it to a friend is going to entirely be determined by Corsair customer service. I hear they treat their customers well, so I am optimistic.

Looks great, keeps my i7-6700k extremely cool, and has the braided texture( idk what to call it) around the tubing so I dont have to worry about it getting nicked. The system to secure it is flexible and has a much better feel than the Antec I upgraded from. Has a sweet LED on it as well. My favorite part is the corsairLink feature, which does have a small downside of taking up a USB 2.0 header (not a big deal) but the length of the cable was almost too short so It didn't give me much wiggle room for placement. The docked corsair link icon shows all of my temps, and has preset speeds which I didn't think much of a first but, seriously, quiet is practically silent. Actually worried me for a minute haha. My real complaint is the need for the "Corsair Commander Mini"to control all of my case fans through CorsairLink, which I plan on getting, but also not a huge deal. Got it for $80ish on sale with some points on top. I'd recommend it to any enthusiast.

First time using a liquid cooler and this was easy and quick to install. I have been using it for over a month and it keeps my cpu cool and its quieter than expected.

This is an excellent, entry level cooler that was very easy to install. To be honest, it's also significantly quieter than I expected as well.

This was a terrific cooler. The biggest issue I ran into was that my case didn't have 2 x 120mm fan holes next to each other. Well, luckily that case was old and I didn't really care about it anymore at the time. Took out my handy old hole saw and cut out 2 x 120mm holes. It worked great for the time I had that case. Eventually though, it was time for a new case that could better suit the system. It was a great cooler, and very easy to work with. The only thing I might suggest is adding another set of fans to create a push-pull combination and get even better cooling from it.

This item is Great and keeps my processor cool. You can adjust the settings if you want to manually control it but I think it works well on its own. You cant hear this unit running unless you really crank it up to the highest speed and then it is still not that loud.

I assembled a new system with all up-to-date components in December of 2015. Quickly, a heating problem appeared at maximum cpu speeds. It was still a problem after installing fourteen 12 volt fans; the Hydro-Cool replaced nine of them with far better cooling.

I was nervous at first coming from air cooled CPU's but I am so far very satisfied with this purchase! Keeps my i7 4790K CPU under 30 degrees Celsius at idle!

Works really well, at least 12 degree difference vs the Intel provided cooler. You will need a case with 2 fan positions open on the top. Not as easy to put it in the front of a case. Read the instructions carefully on how to connect the pump and fans.

Good cooling performance for CPU's. Pump is quiet, I would say it's unnoticeable next to the fans in my case. Keeps my core temps under load 2-3°C cooler than my old heat sink. Keeps temps around 15-20°C cooler than a stock heat sink, under load.

The CPU cooler works very well but the stock fans are not very good. Once I replaced them with really good fans...perfection. I still highly recommend this cooler. easy install and directions

I bought two of these, the first one unfortunately had its pump die after 6 months, but the second one is at 8 months and still going strong. Great cooling, stays quiet, works great.

At first I couldn't even tell if the fans were spinning! (I had to actually look). Been keeping my 7700K nice a cool in the 40-50c even at full load (though admittedly not currently OC'd).

I purchased this to go along with me i7 5930K CPU. I overclocked my processor and get great temps. This is my 3rd Corsair cooler and I have no complaints. I will continue to buy them on other builds.
