Double check everything is seated properly. Fired up the pc aaand... something's not right. Then smoke start billowing from the case. After inspection, turns out to be the commander core fan controller board that was starting on fire. Put my old cooler back in the same PC with no issues. Going to exchange for a new one and hopefully have better luck. Corsair is lucky nothing in my system was fired because of this.

* Corsair H150 Elite LCD & Thinking Ape w/ Coffee

My nephew just returned on Labor day 2022, from active duty and opened his present so that he can start building his gaming PC. When he opened it and started reviewing the contents, we noticed that the "manual" was missing (keep in mind that this was bought as a NEW item and the item was never advertised as an open item). Then as we started to install the 3 fans onto the cooler, we noticed that the screws were not fitting the fans-onto-the-cooler holes...and that's when we noticed that the "entire cooler Frame" was bent on one side. So now this makes me think that by 1, not including a "users manual" and 2, having a bent cooler frame - This item was most likely an open item and BestBuy did not tell me about it. Shame on you BestBuy. I've been a loyal customer since 2001 (more then 20yrs) and have spent thousands and thousand of dollar$ on many tech items throughout the years. I don't need a refund, I need a working unit. This was a present for my military service active-duty nephew. I will go in person to try to correct this mess and ask for a NEW working replacement. (( to my fellow retail consumers: I will be following up on this review as things progress. Cheers)).

Software issues ruins a good cooler.

It would also be worth verifying your devices' firmwares are up-to-date via our latest iCUE software. Listen to people about LCD issues

Purchased new 8/16/22. “Caution Symbol” displayed on water block…Don’t take my word on it. Check out this 30 page forum last updated 8/16. Corsair’s recommended fix is RMA. Corsair threw in the towel - https://forum.corsair.com/forums/topic/176547-elite-lcd-megathread/ - at least the temps are good.

Almost caught pc on fire.

I built a few pc's and have been an electrician for going on 6 years now I thought this would be a cool upgrade it looked neat but sadly I will never buy another corsair product ever again.

Very disappointing.

Everytime I booted up my computer a new error would happen and the device just would not work. Apparently this is a common issue with this device.

Double checked connections and did everything including updating bios and still nothing worked. Do NOT recommend this product as it had been such a headache

Don’t buy
