This is an EXCELLENT keyboard for gaming & editing which is why how I primarly use it. I have all other corsair items so I use ICUE. Keyboard feels great out of the box and sounds clean. HOWEVER….Here are the two drawbacks. One a bit worse than the other. The first thing is that this is NOT SLIPSTREAM COMPATIBLE. You CANNOT use the SLIPSTREAM DONGLE just as you would any other comptabile device. It has it’s own wireless reciever. Make sure you have TWO available USB ports on your pc. I didn’t read reviews before buying but luckily I have extra ports. The second thing is that the keys aren’t the best to show of the RGB lighting. For me, they’re a bit hard to see in a dark room with ambient light. My solution which I HIGHLY recommend is to swap them out with some WOMIER pudding keycap set! You will not regret it! The only thing you should be aware of should you do this, is that the Womier keycap set doesn’t have the shortcut markings on the keys as the OEM ones do. You’ll have to memorize the shortcuts if you’re fond of using them. The pudding keycap set really lifts the look of this keyboard by miles! Nonetheless, GREAT keyboard. It nor being compatible with SLIPSTREAM is unfortunate but notna huge dealbreaker and upgrading the keycaps are a must! Pics included, you can see how the Womier keys from AMZN allow the RGB/Color to pop that much more!

The Corsair K65 RGB Mini 75% keyboard is an exceptional compact mechanical keyboard that truly delivers on both performance and aesthetics. This keyboard is perfect for those who want a high-quality mechanical keyboard without the bulk of a full-sized one. Here are some of the standout features that make the K65 75% keyboard great:
**1. Compact and Portable Design:**
The 75% layout strikes a perfect balance between functionality and space-saving. It includes all the essential keys, including arrow keys and function keys, while being significantly smaller than a full-sized keyboard. This makes it ideal for gaming setups where desk space is at a premium or for taking on the go.
**2. High-Quality Build:**
Corsair has used top-notch materials in the construction of the K65 RGB Mini. The keyboard has a sturdy, durable feel, with an aluminum top plate that gives it a premium touch. Despite its small size, it doesn’t feel flimsy or lightweight, which is a common issue with smaller keyboards.
**3. Cherry MX Switches:**
The K65 is available with Cherry MX switches, known for their reliability and precise actuation. Whether you prefer the tactile feedback of MX Reds or the clicky feel of MX Blues, the K65 offers an excellent typing experience that’s perfect for both gaming and general use.
**4. RGB Lighting:**
One of the most eye-catching features of this keyboard is the fully customizable RGB lighting. The per-key RGB backlighting is vibrant and can be synchronized with other Corsair products through the iCUE software. You can create stunning lighting effects or keep it simple with a solid color, depending on your preference.
**5. Advanced Customization:**
Corsair’s iCUE software allows for extensive customization of key mappings, macros, and lighting profiles. This makes the K65 incredibly versatile, letting you tailor the keyboard to your specific needs, whether for gaming or productivity.
**6. Detachable USB-C Cable:**
The inclusion of a detachable USB-C cable adds to the keyboard’s portability and convenience. It’s easy to pack up and connect to different devices, and the use of USB-C ensures fast and reliable data transmission.
**7. Competitive Edge:**
For gamers, the K65 RGB Mini offers a competitive edge. Its fast response times and N-key rollover ensure that every keypress is registered, no matter how fast you’re playing. The compact size also means your mouse has more room to maneuver, which can be crucial in fast-paced gaming situations.
**Conclusion:**
Overall, the Corsair K65 RGB Mini 75% keyboard is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a compact, high-performance mechanical keyboard. Its blend of portability, build quality, and customization options make it a standout in the market. Whether you’re a gamer or someone who values a great typing experience, the K65 delivers on all fronts.

Got this to replace the Razer Blackwidow V4 75% which had a problem with double typing with the orange switches. The Corsair K65 Plus Wireless 75% is a huge improvement! This is a solid keyboard, heavy, built like a tank and feels premium. I prefer these MLX Red Linear switches a lot more. They are super quiet too similar to the huntsman mini. Allows you to switch from bluetooth to wireless and even the key caps feel better than Razer PBT keycaps. If your on the fence go with Corsair. This is the best gaming keyboard you can buy in a retail store.

I purchased the K65 Plus Wireless, wanting something smaller than my full-size Corsair K95, but larger than my Corsair K70 Pro; this keyboard is just right: it doesn't take up a lot of real estate (like my K95), and I also have access to directional/arrow keys (unlike my K70). The factory lubed hot swappable switches are incredibly smooth and I've received several compliments from my colleagues who were surprised at how good the switches are. I did swap out some of the stock keycaps for aftermarket Star Trek LCARs themed low profile keycaps (don't hate LOL!). The RGB is good, but I don't use it that often since I use this keyboard at work. Other that that, I think it's a great keyboard, especially at the current price point.

I’m in love with this keyboard, I like the way it sounds, the keys are quiet, the feeling of the keys are really nice. Everything about this keyboard I love. And it’s cheaper then some other brands that don’t have the same quality as this one.

This is the first time I’ve bought a new keyboard and I love it. The thock sound is great, the keys are really satisfying and it’s overall an awesome improvement from my full sized membrane. I do think the icue software is annoying sometimes and the battery life isn’t amazing if you got the lights on all the time, but it being hotswappable makes it worth it. Plus most software for cheaper keyboards are worse but that only really matter if you care about rgb. It’s a great balance between a gamer keyboard and a customizable keyboard. 75% is the best layout btw.

Love the kb so far. Use for daily work and nightly gaming. Love the Mac/Win toggle too when I switch between systems. Using the wireless dongle in a KVM and no issues at all. Decent battery if you leave the RGB off or low. I already spilled coffee on it… but after taking it apart and ensuring everything was dry and clean. Boom still works. Sure a bit pricey but sweet little ready to go board.

Corsair K65 is a great keyboard for its price, keys are smooth and not super loud. It has just enough movement to type fast without delay on screen. The smoothness of the keys helps reduce ringer fatique in application where typing is important.

The feeling of the keys and typing is nice, and there’s no heavy mechanical clacking sound. But the key caps are pretty thick and filled in so not much light gets through. Most of the rgb lighting is just around the base of all the caps.

Ive had this keyboard for over a year now and I absolutely love it. The battery lasts pretty good. I love that it’s that more quiet but still clicky sound of keyboard. Would highly recommend if you want a customizeable non full size keyboard. And swapping the keys is super easy. I haven’t had to swap the switches but I believe you can if you want to.

Fantastic keyboard and very responsive if connected via bluetooth or direct cable. Wifi receiver can be pretty glitchy, even at close proximity sometimes. The keyboard will lag or not input at all and the backlighting will start glitching. I highly suggest using it as bluetooth or direct plug in. Other than that, I highly recommend.

Fair warning, I’m a bit of a keyboard enthusiast, but I don’t like buying a new keyboard all the time. I recently built my own custom keyboard this summer and hand-picked my own key-switches and keycaps, so this is an exciting product review for me.
Unboxing and Build Quality
Right off the bat, the K65 Plus Wireless scores some points in the build quality department. I love the lightweight design, especially compared to my full-metal beast of a keyboard! The PBT keycaps have a quality feel, and something you may not initially notice is the sound dampening – this thing is seriously quiet compared to a lot of mechanical keyboards.
Design & Features
The 75% design keeps things compact while giving you everything you need for gaming and everyday use. We've got a handy volume dial up top, customizable RGB (controlled with Corsair's iCUE software), and the included keycap and switch pullers really show that Corsair's focused on providing those sweet enthusiast options.
Typing Experience
Alright, about the switches. This model comes with Corsair MLX Reds, which are all about those smooth, linear presses. If you're not familiar, that means no tactile bump as you push the key – it's a constant motion to the bottom. Some love it, others (like me) prefer a bit of feedback. However, the smoothness here is nice, and I love how hushed the keys are, especially in an office or shared space. For me personally, I prefer a Cherry MX Brown or a banana-style keyswitch, but they are noisier. A little bit of tactile feedback can make all the difference in gaming and typing.
Connectivity: Endless Options
This is where the K65 Plus Wireless really shows its versatility. You've got wired, 2.4Ghz wireless, and Bluetooth on deck. You can choose between wired and 2.4Ghz connectivity with PC, Mac, PS4/5, and Xbox One + Series X. Awesome.
• Wired gives you the ultimate 1000Hz polling rate, perfect for demanding gaming.
• The 2.4Ghz wireless clocks in at 1000Hz as well for minimal input lag.
• Bluetooth lets you hook up to tablets, consoles...pretty much anything Bluetooth-compatible, though at a lowered polling rate of 125Hz.
And the battery life? It's impressive, Corsair states you can get up to 266 hours of connectivity with RGB turned off. You can customize the RGB effects through Corsair's iCUE software for longer use between charges… You might want to turn off the full keyboard rainbow RGB effects to conserve battery.
A Word on Customization
Corsair's iCUE software takes things to the next level when it comes to making this keyboard your own. Not only can you personalize the RGB lighting with tons of effects, but you can also program individual keys, change macros, and create custom profiles. If you're someone who loves tinkering and tweaking your setup, iCUE unlocks the full potential of the K65 Plus Wireless.
Pros
• Fantastic build quality, especially the sound dampening
• Super versatile connectivity options
• Lightweight and compact for easy transport
• Long-lasting battery
• Enthusiast-level customization potential
Cons
• Red switches aren't everyone's cup of tea
• Premium pricing puts it out of reach for casual users
Final Thoughts
So, is the Corsair K65 Plus Wireless worth it? If you're after a high-performance, compact keyboard with plenty of features, I'd say absolutely. Whether you're a dedicated gamer or someone who wants that super satisfying typing experience with the ability to fully customize your keyboard, both physically and software-wise, this keyboard deserves a close look. And again – Corsair really nailed the sound profile of this keyboard. It’s hush, pretty quiet, yet still satisfying to type on for most people. Give this one a look if you’re a fan of linear red switches.

Love this keyboard even though the first I got came damaged. That more of a delivery issue then keyboard itself. This keyboard is great it feels great and performs well. But their two minor issues one I resolved myself. One it’s not slipstream compatible which can be issue if you don’t have usb space on your pc. The other is the keycaps arent shine through which I knew buying it. I put different keycaps that are shine through
