Great Keyboard for gaming!

I had been looking for a gaming keyboard for quite awhile after my last one had an unfortunate run-in with water. I purchased this about a week and a half ago and really like the feel of the keys and the response. It is also water resistant. It even came with special molded movement keys (WASD and QERF) for gaming. The lighting effects are also a plus. After installing the software for the keyboard, it was really easy to program my own personal lighting effects for different games. The included pic is of a water ripple lighting effect I made in about two minutes.

Dear Reader,
You might think I'm overreacting. You might think, I simply lost it and are just old and remember it wrong. You might be right.
I'm 35 and been a gamer since I was 6. Started with C64 (which you might need to google) that already had a keyboard built-in transforming into multiple PCs and consoles over the years.
I also learnt typewriting for 2 years (which is not that fun everybody thinks it is - our teacher was extremely strict, you'd needed to type in front of a blank monitor with no possibility of erasing your mistakes and with every mistake made your grade drops immediately) which came in handy with my jobs, where typing speed is required.
Now this keyboard is really comfy - has an immense amount of lighting options, which drives me crazy how good it looks during the night and clicks and is exactly the type I wanted when I first laid my eyes on her.
The lighting is also something to behold : you can set 5 different lighting options, which you also can combine - right now if I'm idling, my keyboard lights up like if rain would fall on the keys, but if I start to type, each letter pressed starts a light-puddle that goes wide. It looks really awesome, especially if you have more items also with LED lights.
I also researched every other keyboard and manufacturer before making a deal that would pull $100 out of my pocket (lucky coupons + discounts) and there are other options as well - you could go Razer, where you'd need to fork out $200 more in order to get better quality, but $100 more if you would want just the same. The other manufacturer's keyboards were also not available in white.
But again, this was me - who likes shiny new things and fancy lights. I absolutely would recommend though.

Coming from the Corsair K95 Platinum, I was fully aware of the build quality and performance of the Corsair line of mechanical keyboards. This K70 Mk2 in special white addition is so refreshing right out of the box. Its brushed aluminum chacie with white key caps look Amazing when lit up with abundance amount of RGB lighting options. I was a little worried of how I would like the CherryMx Speeds compared to the Browns used in the K95, but my fears have all slipped away after testing this bad Mamba Jamba out! It's super fast response makes game play a breeze! If your in the market for a Mechanical Gaming Keyboard that not only can withstand the years of play, but looks absolutely Stunning on your desk....Then look no further, you have found it...I can only hope they keep making the white addition, because I'm afraid I won't be able to settle for black ever again!!

This keyboard is stunning in every aspect. The white reflects the rgb off the brushed aluminum and creates this glorious spectrum of colors that makes you stare in awe. The switches are fast, but not too fast where you feel as if you don't know if that button registered. You still get that feedback you crave from mechanical keyboards. So far into owning this product, I have had no problems with keeping it clean. As long as you're not eating bbq wings and using the keyboard without cleaning your hands off at all, it'll be fine. Perhaps it does get dirty somehow, you can easily remove the keycaps that are affected and just rinse them in your sink. The sound of the keys is pleasant and not too noisy. The wrist rest is very comfortable and durable (I've owned a k95 platinum in that past for over a year without any problems, this is the same wrist rest). So overall, this is a dream keyboard.

I was in search of a mechanical keyboard for work. I wanted something durable, and responsive to alleviate the pressure from constant typing and key strokes throughout the workday. I also wanted a keyboard with light as I work into the evening hours most days. This Corsair keyboard absolutely delivered and met my expectations. It was slightly discounted, although the brand is generally pricier than its competitors. However, there is no sacrifice to quality and you definitely get what you pay for. While it’s a “gaming” keyboard, it has become a staple piece to my WFH station. Even my kitten seems to be pleased! Absolutely worth the investment!

First off, not my first mechanical. Have had several red dragon and other “cheaper” brands. Picked up this keyboard on sale and loving it. The RGB looks amazing reflecting off the silver metal. Keys feel great whether gaming or typing. Some people complained about using it for typing but I work from home two days a week and use this keyboard all day. Pairs great with my Corsair mouse and RAM. Highly recommend. It is not a “clicky” keyboard which is what I was looking for. The loud clicks when working from home was too much so this has been perfect for me.

I bought this from another vender and immediately after one day of using it i realized i needed to buy another one for a friend. It’s a very nice keyboard with excellent quality. I love Corsairs Icue system and u hardly ever see a good quality white gaming keyboard. I also have a feeling corsair won’t make this very much longer. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a white keyboard. Only con is that it requires 2 USB ports :( the rgb has plenty of color options thanks to ICUE and another “con” for me is that this has a number pad which i personally don’t prefer but corsair doesn’t offer a white keyboard like this without it.

Switches, sound level, software, design: A+

I am coming from a Razer Chroma BlackWidow keyboard. It was time to try something new because the green switches in the Razer keyboard were far too clicky and somewhat embarrassing when taking a professional call, or overly distracting when communicating with teammates during gameplay.
First of all, the CHERRY MX Speed Switches are excellent. These switches register key presses faster than any other switch that I have used. At times the switches can be a little too sensitive and register key presses from just resting my fingers on the keys. You get used to this and it has not been a serious problem for me. The sound level on the switches are comparable to the CHERRY MX Browns that I had in a previous keyboard. They are responsive and not too clicky; they feel great and make typing feel like a joy.
The iCUE software that is used to configure lighting and other keyboard functionality is truly above and beyond what I was using for the Razer keyboard. Not to mention there are tons of free lighting profiles out there which can be easily imported to make your keyboard really fit your own style. The iCUE software also integrates to any other Corsair products that you own - including internal PC components. I was surprised to see that I could also control the LED lights on my memory inside my PC that I have had for 3+ years. I never knew I could control that! It was a pleasant surprise and I will be buying more Corsair products in the future just for this reason alone. Convenience!
Lastly, the design of the keyboard really stands out. Especially for my current setup where my NZXT case is white. I feel that the brushed aluminum just goes so well with my setup, not to mention the LED profiles really seem to pop.

Its very chonky i must say, compared to my ducky one 2 SF keyboard it’s quite big. I paid $139 on sale for it such a steal! The lighting is so insane!! Light modes are sooo diverse and completely customizable with ICUE software! My favorite is the pink color!! The fact that its actual metal and has a wrist rest!! This keyboard will not disappoint

This was my first mechanical keyboard. However, I have looked at and researched other mechanical keyboards, switches, stabs, etc. and this pales in comparison to other gaming keyboards out there. I bought this keyboard in March or April of 2019 and I use it extensively for school, gaming, etc.
Pros of this keyboard for me was the RGB lighting and Corsair's RGB software. It's simple to use and configure. I also like the hand rest that's included and the RGB controls on the board itself.
Some cons. Personally I'm not a big fan of the Silver switches and stabilizers. This board is also not hot swappable meaning you're stuck with these components. Of course, you can desolder it but it does take a lot of effort to do so. Also, the stabilizer on the space bar is horrible. Obviously, I use the space bar constantly but a good space bar shouldn't come out of place regardless if you press it on the left or right side of the key cap.
Again, this board is a nice board as a first mechanical gaming keyboard but I wouldn't recommend it. You can definitely find better boards out there that have better quality for the same price. Suffice to day, I ordered a Ducky One 2 Mini as a replacement for $100.

This is an excellent gaming keyboard. The Cherry MX Speed switches make for seamless actuation, especially when pressing the same key multiple times. The construction of the keyboard is solid, and the RGB lighting complements the aluminum base plate and white key caps fantastically. A couple nitpicks I have are that the base plate can produce a faint ring if a key bottoms out hard enough, and standard 40A-R & 40A-L switch dampening o-rings don't seem to be thick enough to have any effect (although, I did find a set of transparent o-rings that were 0.2mm thicker and worked fine). If you're looking for a good typing keyboard, I would recommend the MX Brown switches as opposed to the Speeds; the super easy actuation can lead to accidental keystrokes depending on how firmly you rest your fingers on the home row.

Before I got my first corsair keyboard I was going through 2 keyboards a year routinely no mater the brand, my last keyboard a K95 lasted 5 years and I'm confident this new one will match that.
Quality, I feel there is a noticeable difference having the full aluminum back, it's vary sturdy and nice looking.
Switches, I wasn't sure how I would feel about the rapid fire keys, I was using reds on my last board, I play osu! alot and keys matter alot to me, so far these have been pretty good, they feel a bit more linear/bouncy then the reds what felt more to free fall past a point what I have came to like, but the big thing is the higher detection point and lighter force to start what for me playing osu! and doing lighter fast taps I have noticed it completely fixed my issue of tapping to light and missing a press.

When I was planning to buy this keyboard I suspected it to be a little over-priced since anything with the word “white” on the box when it comes to pc parts immediately jacks the price up $100 but I was pleasantly surprised. Sure it’s still about a $30 price jump for what corsair calls “SE” (The only difference that I can discover looking a both keyboards is that one is white, and one isn’t. I could be wrong, but they both feel the same and look the same besides color)
The keyboard overall is really nice, good build quality, RGB lighting is very bright, the built-in cable routing on the keyboard is kinda pointless imo but it’s different for everybody. I think the coolest thing about this keyboard is the USB that’s on the back, it’s really well hidden and is really good if you have a wireless mouse that uses the little USB connector thingy.
The Mutli-Media controls are nice, really helps me out since I listen to Spotify while I game. They make is so I don’t have to close out my game to change music which is nice.
Keyboard sounds really nice, works really well when it comes to lighting control (of course, iCUE software is still sorta not fun to work with for me).
It definitely is very responsive and I’m trying to find myself not tapping as hard (it’s hard to get used to, but it definitely feels much more streamlined once you do). So exactly what I expect of Cherry MX speed switches.
The brushed metal frame contrasts really well with the keycaps and shines really well in low-light. Matches my Monitor perfectly.
Honestly, there’s better keyboards out there to buy for 180 bucks sure, but are any of them like this?
Yeah, definitely.
But this one’s Corsair!
(Oh yeah. The rubber wrist rest thing, I never really use it, I put it on for the picture but it’s honestly kinda weird looking and doesn’t feel very nice to put your wrist on. The spacebar has the same texture on it, but it’s less noticeable than on the rest and doesn’t have an as aggressive feel)
