Very nice sounding linear mechanical keyboard. The build quality is amazing thanks to the metal body. Absolutely amazing for gaming. My only complaint is that it takes some getting used to when it comes to typing. The MX speed switches are very sensitive, so it can make typing difficult. However it makes up for that with the gaming experience. The switches are super fast. The input lag is almost nonexistent. It is very responsive. The RGB looks great and it was fairly easy to use, but not as easy as some other manufacturers. Overall, I think it is a fine mechanical keyboard if you can find a deal on it.

I decided to take the plunge and go for it. After watching tons of reviews I was still thinking that a keyboard is a keyboard.... I was wrong. The feel of each key and the satisfying feel of each key stroke was so different from regular keyboards. Why aren't all keyboards made this way??? I can't stop typing on this keyboard! The RGB lights are awesome.... the keyboard looks better in person than in pictures. The softwar to change the lights for each profile is not very simple, takes a bit of time to figure out. The quality build is insane!!

Overall a great keyboard. I highly recommend this one over all the other keyboard though it would be nice to have this in TKL form. I find for gaming, you don't need the num pad and it only adds to separate the hands making me sit closer to the monitor. And yes the price is a bit high, but I guess you get what you paid for. High quality key caps, nice color, great RGB, and feel of the MX speed switches.

This is my 2nd Corsair K70. I purchased it to replace the original (MK 1) version which I also loved. High quality parts, great RGB, and good feel. If i ever need a replacement keyboard and the K70 line is still in production i'll be getting another.

This keyboard is amazing. The Cherry MX Speed switches are perfect. Though if you are not used to switches like this, it will take a little time to get used to the sensitivity. For me it only took about a day's worth of use. The build quality is very good and sturdy, and the wrist rest is perfect for me. Also very easy to clean dust off of. The USB pass through is a bonus as well. Never knew I needed that in my life, lol. The customization of the RGB lighting is near endless. Great community around it so there are plenty of amazing options.
So far the only con is not to do with the keyboard, but the iCue software. It can be a bit tricky and confusing to figure out, when trying to make changes to the keyboard at first. Had to play around with it for a little over an hour before I figured out the basics. Still learning though. If you are not into figuring out how to make crazy lighting effects, then just stick with community builds. You can find them with a quick google search.

Love this keyboard. Comes with swappable WASD keys with serrations for a little extra grip support. Love the light shows but i mostly just keep it lit red. Buttons pop off and on easy for easy cleaning.

This keyboard has a nice design and is a good size. Nothing is super condensed, so if you have bigger hands it’s the way to go rather than smaller options. Was going to get white to match my setup however I knew it would get dirty. And I’m no Mr. Clean. Quick response time. iCUE app has its ups and downs when it comes to wireless connections but this is wired so nothing too concerning. Lots of different RGB options made me actually prefer rgb over non rgb(it was tough to find a non-rgb mousepad which is ridiculous imo). I’m sure you could get a cheaper keyboard with similar features however Corsair has quality products that are worth the extra money. It does require two USB ports in order to connect so keep that in mind. Maybe you could use only one and possibly lose the rgb features but I haven’t tested that out.

Love this keyboard, especially the wrist rest. The ability to remove it is a very nice plus. The keystrokes are not annoying loud like some brands, and the functionality and size is perfect. The added audio keys are an added bonus, as well as the textured gaming keys that are thrown in. The USB at the top of the keyboard is also nice touch for wireless mouses and other accessories. The iCue software synchronization with all of my corsair products is awesome as well. you can have it vomit rainbow all day, or just a simple color... I got this on sale, however I would totally pay the extra money for the quality of the higher models. Its worth it.

This keyboard feels incredible. The wrist pad that connects to the bottom really helps with fatigue that comes with long gaming.
The RGB is absolutely beautiful, and the iCue software is fantastic that gives you control over how you light your keyboard, as well as coordinating other RGB Corsair products.
The matte feel of the keys feels nice and smooth under your fingers. The control layout is practical and nice. The keyboard is more compact than a regular keyboard, but only slightly.
Overall, I would highly recommend this keyboard. It is well priced, and extremely high quality. Corsair is one of the best and you get amazing quality from them.

Here’s the bottom line: it’s a keyboard, not a magic wand. It does everything it is supposed to and does them well. I have no complaints.
I have had mine for roughly 2 years with periods of heavy use (up to 8 hours a day) as well as periods of complete neglect (30-60 days without use). The LED’s look nice and can be customized to a fine degree, so if “pretty” is a priority, this keyboard won’t disappoint. Ergonomics are pretty good, I’ve not had any unusual pains or discomforts during long periods of use. The only warning or cautionary statement I must give is that the key-press is VERY light. In the case of typing, it took me many hours to become comfortable and acquire the muscle memory needed to type quickly. If you have fat fingers like I do, mistypes are all but guaranteed at first.
All in all, great keyboard. I would gladly buy it again.

Context:
* Upgrading from Logitech MK235 and Dell WK636P.
* First time using a fancy keyboard.
This is a easy win.
The writing is very comfortable. It is fast, it is very responsive.
It is solid, is beautiful, is color vivid.
The lights, intense, colorful, Do you like to watch your Christmas tree's lights? You will be doing the same.
I went to the BestBuy store to compare the keyboards on demo. I recommend you to go and spend some time typing, you will not regret.

It’s a Corsair it’s gonna be good. Very pleased with this purchase. Matches well with my white Corsair pc build. Keys are soft and sensitive and quite. The way I like it. Not too clicky just right IMO. The rgb lighting is great and can be control by corsair’s icue software. Keyboard feels well made. The wrist rest feels hard to the touch but when your wrist are resting on it it feels soft and comfortable while typing. This is a good middle of road keyboard. Love the volume adjustment roller!

Worked just as expecyed. Nothing flashy, nothing too great. The RGB elements are a great addition and the extra WASD and R keycaps and keycap remover is very helpful. Armrest works wonders as well. The volume slider on the top works great as well, sliding smooth. A great keyboard for more budget oriented builds although it gets beat by more expensive keyboards, it works very well and has a great response time within this price range.

I have had this for 14 Months. I am an avid gamer, FPS mostly, and I type a lot on this keyboard as well. This thing Rocks compared to the 2 G910's I bought from Best Buy which both failed within 18 months. I didn't return either one and 1 is still under warranty, but you can't fix a bad design, so I won't be sending it in. They both failed due to a semi-humid environment and that is a non-starter for any keyboard.
The K70 is very customizable as far as colors and effects. You can assign colors to everything except for the Num Lock, Caps Lock and Scroll Lock LED's which are white. It types very nicely. The keys work well and if you hit the button even slightly, it likely will register. It is very easy to type with. The key caps come off easily even without the included tool, so be careful you don't lose one moving it from room to room. They are snug, but not super snug. Cables are braided. The linear cherry switches aren't too loud. The software isn't too bad once you figure out how to use it. Windows Key Lockout Button, Nice!!! I spilled a little soda on this one and it is still working a month later. Please note that it is NOT water proof! I will take it completely apart and clean it after the warranty period ends.
Complaints:
The USB passthrough doesn't support 3.0 or 3.1. That makes no sense, why even bother, then. I'd rather have gotten the keyboard cheaper and not paid for an unhelpful USB port and braided cable. (Probably useful for a wireless mouse.)
The volume scroll wheel is a downgrade from the G910 which worked flawlessly, that is my biggest complaint, it works, but not real well.
If you use the white backlight for the keys, keys could become pink or red. That is due to dust and blowing the cherry switch out with canned air will likely fix it.
If you are on the fence, just buy it! Definitely a recommended must have buy by me!

Recently put together a completely new PC. The case was Corsair and so were the included fans, so I figured I would give the complete Corsair atmosphere a try, that way I only had to use one program to control all of my peripherals and their respective lighting. I can't say that I'm disappointed, at all. Very nice keyboard. I got mine with the mx speed silver switches and I think I'm in love with this keyboard. The included wrist wrest could be better, it's just a hard plastic piece that clicks in place. It's been replaced with a memory foam wrist rest that spans the length of the keyboard and I suggest you do the same if you pick this board up.
I'm used to clickier switches like cherry mx brown or Kaihl pro purples, so the silver's are taking some getting to used to, but I totally dig them. Accidental key presses are happening for me but only because I'm used to different switches. These switches glide nice and smooth and have no tactile bump before actuation, so I find myself pressing keys too far down as I slide my fingers across the keyboard to type.
Practice makes perfect though and I think this keyboard might make me become more accurate at typing, or I'll throw it against the wall in frustration and by another one that has different switches, it's still up in the air right now.
Corsair has come a long way with their software. The iCue software runs flawlessly for me, letting me control the lighting of each individual product or sync their patterns together which is really nice to see. Overall, I'm very pleased with this keyboard and every other Corsair product we purchased for this build.

The silver switch keys are awesome! these switches are so smooth and responsive and fast took a little bit to get used to it but now what I touch is what I get and the sound is awesome not to loud and barley the mic pics it up. Quality is awesome and well built and rgb is a plus if ur into that, cons I wished the black version came with the switches that this did, the silver kina had to match but this keyboard def worth it

Nice keyboard. Previous keyboard was a redragon cheapie that met its end at the hands of my child's hot chocolate. This Corsair seems to be designed better to alleviate liquid damage but it costs air a bit more. The Keys are responsive. Lots of lighting options although I do feel like iCUE is way to big of a program for what it does.

A fantastic mechanical keyboard for everyday/gaming use. The keyboard itself has a weight and sturdiness to it that I wasn't expecting, and the keys themselves feel sufficiently solid. The keys click and clack without being too obnoxious or loud. The ability to control the RGB lighting for every individual key is also a huge plus. All in all, a fantastic, well-made beautiful keyboard that everyone in the market for a keyboard should consider.
