Keys are amazing to type on, they make that nice clicky noise. The lighting on this is beautiful, the wrist rest is a welcome accessory. They keys are very sensitive and work for my games that require it, the color of the keys are white so they do get dirty easily.

This is a very good keyboard. I have not had any issues with it. The Keyboard comes with extra keys. They are just setting in my desk waiting to be used. No use for them at this time. Excellent choice on my part.

This is honestly my first ever gaming keyboard and mouse. I wasn’t sure of anything I was going to buy. I honestly can say that I’ve been really happy with Corsair keyboard and mouse. First the aluminum housing feels amazing as the unit feels solid as can be. Keys are super responsive. They give extra textured keys and the ability to tune all the lights and keys is great. The performance has been amazing. Now comes the long haul test and I’ll gladly give a review when I feel the time is right. (Don’t forget to download icue to customize your experience)

    Great Keyboard

I replaced my old Vengeance K70 RGB keyboard with this, and it is better all around. The thing I like the most about this keyboard is that for basic lighting effects I don't need to have the corsair software installed on my system. I get tired of all the different things that need to be running in the background so it is a big plus for me. Typing on the keyboard feels great. No accidental keystrokes or any issues like that. The media and volume controls are reliable and useful. The cord is high quality, although I do wish it could be detachable using usb c, but that's fine. Oh and the RGB is way brighter than my old keyboard, which is nice when there is a lot of ambient light. All in all, great purchase.

I've always wanted a good mechanical keyboard for gaming, but I could never afford one. Luckily, I had some expiring best buy points in my account that I was able to use toward this beautiful rgb corsair keyboard. The cherry mx linear switches are fast and quiet and it even comes with a textured replacement set of WASD keys for gaming. (a good quality key cap puller tool is also included) I'm very satisfied except for the price - I've never been able to figure out why all of these mech keyboards are so expensive...

I'm really happy to have pulled the trigger on getting this keyboard. I need to type a lot for work, but am also an avid gamer. This is a great keyboard for both. + I really enjoy he smooth operation of the keys, no wobble and fast actuation speed. You can find more information on the MX Speed keys, but I find you only need to press the key for about 1/3 to have your stroke registered. + Amazing build quality and great looks. I like being able to modify the backlit colors. I use this keyboard on 2 computers at once (with a quick switch) and the different colors quickly show me which computer is active on the keyboard. - The only bad thing I can say is the price. It's a lot to pay for a keyboard, but considering that I use this every day, it's worth it.

Coming from a Corsair K90 that lasted well over 5 years, this keyboard is a nice evolution from the an already good keyboard. RGB is a nice touch and retains everything I liked about the K90. Very premium feel. Only downside is that it is expensive.

    Fantastic Experience Gaming and Typing

First of all, I intend to use this keyboard for gaming and typing alike, but I decided to upgrade my previous keyboard in order to get more out of my gaming experience. I chose this keyboard because of the quality material and build that it provided, as well as the full keyboard size without it looking abnormally big like the k95 or k100 does to me. I know I would also benefit from the very handy media controls on the top right of the board. It seems like a great mid-range option, especially with the constant slashed prices. Prior to purchasing, I was going to try to get a mechanical keyboard with tactile switches because I wanted a response to know when I pressed each key and they are also usually the quietest. However, when I visited the store in person, they were only carrying the mx speed switches which are linear switches that activate at a shorter distance press than other linear switches. I was worried I would not like the straight, uninterrupted up-and-down press of the keys and the press sensitivity of the mx speed switches. However, after using this keyboard, I've been pleasantly surprised. Addressing my first preference of tactile switches to feel when they activate, these linear mx speed switches are activated so easily that if the key starts the slightest downward motion you can expect that you activated it, and because the force required to push the key downward is so low, you will find yourself bottoming them out a lot, creating your own tactile response of hitting the bottom. One drawback of that, however, is the increased sound that the keys will produce when they smack the board. This obviously depends on how hard you hit the keys, but if you're gaming or sometimes typing for that matter, you will be in the zone and not be consciously trying to hit the keys as softly as possible. If this is one of your main concerns, I think that getting cheap rubber o-rings for under the keys will solve this problem easily and not interfere with your key presses due to the short activation distance of the key switches. I will likely invest to avoid any disturbance it might create for friends I will be on calls with. If I do, I will try to update this review. However, the noise is not as much of a problem as clicky key switches would be. One last thing I would like to mention is my concern that I would not be able to rest my fingers on these keys because of the low force required to push them. I read this on another review before purchasing, and I was worried because I know I do that too. I use the wrist support that comes with the keyboard, and using that probably takes a lot of the pressure my fingers would be putting on the keys. That said, I have not run into that problem of accidentally pressing the keys, but if that is a concern for you, I think you will get used to it. My overall thoughts are that this is a fantastic quality mid-to-high-range mechanical keyboard that has changed my gaming and typing experience to be more enjoyable, and I would strongly recommend this keyboard. If you buy it off Best Buy, they have such a generous return policy, so it would be no problem to send it or take it back if you want to try the keyboard out for yourself.

Great keyboard right up until my kids decided to spill soda on it and broke most of the key caps. I cleaned it a couple times but eventually it did die on us. I could have seen this keyboard lasting a normal adult gamer for many many years though. I do miss this keyboard.

There aren't many gaming style keyboards, or many keyboards in general for that matter, that can compare to this one. From the beautiful brushed aluminum body to the double shot PBT keycaps, this board is meant to be durable and exotic. The lighting looks beautiful through and around the white keys, it gives a completely different look from the standard RGB spilling through and around the black keycaps on most boards. You have a USB pass-through and dedicated multimedia keys with a very high quality feeling volume roller. This keyboard is a 5 out of 5 by itself, but then you have the iCUE software that allows for nearly endless customization of lighting and button assignments. There are not many white on raw aluminum keyboards on the market right now, this one is a very welcome departure from the norm. Very highly recommended.

Easy to use PC app, syncs with other corsair products. Really low response time and high quality build and rgb. Did my research before purchase and this is one of the best if not THE best. I love corsair!

The best keyboard so far I returned my Black widow ultimate 2016 to get this keyboard. It's way better and less noise and beautiful look. I just think it was priced a little to high that's all.

I've never had a gaming keyboard that actually makes me play better in games. The speed switches are great for gaming, but not so much for typing. The keys are very sensitive so with the slightest of pressure of a key it registers. With the iCue software you have unlimited options of RGB, and each key and button in individually lit. The volume wheel is great, and it has all the audio keys, and has an easy profile switch key, brightness key, and windows key-lock. All in all it's one of the keyboards out there to beat, for the price. Has no macro register keys but I don't require them so no big for me. End your keyboard search here!

Fantastic keyboard. I got way more than I expected. The colors look great, the keys are responsive, the feel is excellent. Typing is kind of loud, but there isn't anyone but me around anyway lol. It doesn't bother me at all. I love all the different possibilities as well as the texture of the keys themselves. I do have a problem using the volume wheel as a fidget toy though lol. It's easy to set up as well. The software for it on the computer is also easy to navigate.

Awesome. I was looking for a mechanical keyboard that didn’t make too much noise yet still had that “clickiness” that’s expected from a mechanical keyboard. This exceeded all of my expectations. The keys are super responsive, you can go all out on the rgb customization and the keys aren’t as loud as most other mechanical keyboards. Appearance wise, the silver plating and white looks clean and really brings out the RGB. Would highly recommend for someone looking to upgrade and not trying to break the bank.

Corsair makes some really good, well-built keyboards, and this is my favorite so far. The K70 RGB MK.2 RAPIDFIRE with Cherry MX switches may be a little loud for some, but I love the responsiveness and the lighting. It also comes with a set of replacement keys for the top used ones in gaming (WASDQERF) that are a little more rugged and textured. The keyboard also has a USB slot just above the F7/F8 keys, which is great for plugging in a headset or other peripheral. I highly recommend it.
