Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the LUX K65 keyboard's sturdy build quality, vibrant RGB backlighting, and compact size, finding it easy to use and appreciate the customizable software. However, some users noted that the key feel might be a bit loud for some, and the lack of a number pad may not suit everyone's needs. The included wrist rest also received mixed feedback.

typing feels satisfying, if a little loud. Being able to highlight your favorite keys in your color of choice is also a nice feature. A very nice upgrade to compliment your computer. No ten key pad but I never used that and actually like it is just what it is. Best Buy always has these on display so type on it and see if you like it. It looks very nice at rest.

The K65 lux edition is the most recent edition in the Corsair Keyboard line up. The MX Cherry Reds make it easier for me to play while I play games. General typing is easier for me as well. Also, the rgb lighting is an upgrade from the past Corsair keyboards. It's brighter and the software is easy to use so you can have the best lighting profiles.

Start off by saying there is no number pad. Which is great for me because I don't use the number pad do it saves space. The keyboard feels very solid and not like cheap plastic. Super quiet keystrokes for a mechanical keyboard and very fast response. Being able to personalize the lighting is amazing too, every key can be a different color

The bad: I don't like how my computer fails to recognize the keyboard it's about a %25 fail rate of not connecting properly. My unit came with a cosmetic flaw. My Corsair logo was not fully glued on properly. It's only a minor issue. I fixed it on my own. The good: I like how clean the design is. I like how easy it is to clean. I like the texture of the keys. I like how the software is easy to work with and the customizations you can put into the keyboard. One last thing, I believe this item should be $20 cheaper.

Nice that I was able to get this model exclusive(?) to BestBuy. The included textured WASD keys were one of the reasons for this purchase, along with the solid quality construction and size. I don't use the wrist rest even though the Corsair FPS wrist rest would be nice if it worked with this keyboard. Overall excellent gaming keyboard.

My son bought this and he likes how it performs with his online games and the many color schemes he has setup. He has some useful colors related to what he's playing and others to match mood lighting in his room. The software for setting up the various color schemes and animations is very intuitive and flexible.

I've owned just about all of them and this one is near the top of my list. I love the fact that the numpad is gone. It gives you more room on your desk for your mouse. This can be important for serious FPS gamers who don't have a lot of desk space. We can keep that mouse DPI down and enjoy the extra space. The rear facing USB is also very nice. The previous model (non LUX) did not have that USB and it kind of sucked. Who can't use another USB. Perfect for your headset or mic. The software has improved over the last two years. Its simple and easy now. The keyboard comes with lots of preset color settings, where before you had to either create your own, or get one off of the forums which could be a pain to get working right. The keys are great and they include some decent gaming keys to swap. I wasn't completely sold on the large letter keys at first, but they have grown on me. I like them. This keyboard is an A+ for me. Its a great alternative for someone looking to move on from a Blackwidow or maybe a Logitech.

You cannot go wrong with this keyboard. I was recommended to take a look at Corsair from some friends. Originally i was only looking at Razer, Logitech and other more well-known brands, but I am lucky to have taken a look and purchased this keyboard. First off, the switches are incredible. Not too loud, not too mushy and my favorite aspect, no audible click when you release the key after pressing it. I know many professional games NEED that auditory feedback as their APM are insane, but i am not a professional gamer and my APM will not be any faster no matter what keyboard i buy. The greatest thing about this keyboard is the design. It is simple, clean and elegant, especially for a gaming oriented keyboard. The ten keyless design gives you a ton more desk space and mouse space and really keeps your desktop looking neat and clean. My only gripe is that the CUE software is a little confusing. In addition, I'd love for it to work with my Logitech G software so i can get everything lighting the same colors in sync with one another.

Great accuracy, great RGB control, great feel. The font is a little different than the standard k65 but it does give you more color which makes your keys more visible. It is small and compact and includes an armrest which is a nice touch. I would buy this again if I needed to.

Another great product. Programmable RGB lights super fast and a very satisfying audible and tactile response from the keys. I've bin a Mac user for a while now and even before that back in my early windows computing days, I had never use a mechanical keyboard. This experience is my first, but I can say its very good, Main differences from a normal membrane keyboard is the keys sit a lot higher giving you more travel imaging a typewriter. Even tho they sit higher the response is noticeably faster at times bordering on sensitive, but in a good way. I'm not the best typist and I make my share of mistakes but I believe that if you are you'll really love the feel, and if your like me you'll only get better. Another great feature inherent in mechanical keyboards are the replicable keys, you can change the look of your keyboard buy changing the keys, being a gaming keyboard I immediately changed the WASD keys for the more tactile and angled keys that come included with the keyboard. The K65 is like stated in the name a 65% keyboard meaning that its missing the dedicated number pad, so if your an accountant or a math major you might want to look at the K70. Great Keyborad.

Picked up this keyboard about 2 months ago, still working great. Very nice feel with Cherry MX Red switches. The Corsair software gives you plenty of lighting customization with the RGBs. I knocked a star because the keyboard is a fingerprint and skin oil magnet, I constantly have to wipe it down. Also, the price is a little steep, but it is a high quality item. A great buy, overall!

Great for fps and moba games. Very responsive, and you can change the lighting for each and every key independently. I sometimes miss the clicking of my blue switch keyboard, as the cherry keys are very quiet. They are definitely more responsive though.
