I love this keyboard.
Everything about this keyboard is high quality. The aluminum body is sturdy as any out there. The Cherry MX Browns are my favorite switch with the light tactile bump and no extra click like the Blues. O-rings can easily be applied to dampen the sound of the clack from the key bottoming out. The RGB lighting effects are second to none as there are infinite possibilities to customize or even can download profiles others made from the Corsair website. The wrist rest could be useful but for me it's too small for me and how I type farther off the board.
I highly recommend this keyboard to anyone considering purchasing a mechanical keyboard.

This is the nicest keyboard that I have ever had. Once you go Mechanical on you're keyboard you will never buy another cheap one again. The solid construction, per key RGB back lighting, cherry MX key switches are real nice.

This keyboard is awesome. I love the Cherry MX Brown switches as they have a nice tactile feel but aren't obnoxiously loud. I also swapped the WASD keys for the special ones that were included with the box and they are a just enough of a difference to differentiate the keys but not too different to make it awkward to type. I love Corsair products. They make good stuff.

I had my eye on this keyboard for quite a while. My son got one and loves it. My old keyboard started to "catch" slightly on a few keys, resulting in more-that-usual typing errors and some irritation.
I was sold on the Corsair brand and the Cherry MX Brown keys for quite a while. I wasn't so convinced about the need for RGB lighting, but did want some lighting. I'm a touch-typist, but as the hands go from keyboard-to-mouse and back, it can be tricky to find your place again in the dark, especially if you are just looking for a single key.
This keyboard rarely goes on sale. I assumed it would during the Thanksgiving season, but it didn't. Fortunately, a couple weeks or so into December my patience was rewarded. It was on sale at Best Buy, but was also a few dollars less at an online store. Best Buy cheerfully matched their price. Yay!
PRO - Very nice feel. Very consistent. Nicely adjustable RGB lighting. You can be overly fancy, or very simple. I don't need waves and ripples of light, but I did customize it a bit by making the numeric row, the F and J home keys, and the arrow keys a bit different from the rest of the keyboard.
CON - Even though Cherry MX Brown keys are not "clicky," there is still a fair amount of clatter while typing. I plan to try a set of O-rings that should help dampen that. There are some basic "media control" keys, and a nice roller for volume, but I was surprised at the lack of "special function" keys for things like launching the Media Player or the Calculator and stuff like that. You can program the F-keys, but some applications I use rely on the Function Keys for special shortcuts, so it would be silly to override them. I could program them unique to each application, but that's more than I want to bother with.
It could also use a couple more lights to indicate status, such as if you have pressed the "Insert" key that changes the way you insert or overwrite text while typing.
Lastly, the software for customizing the keyboard is bizarre! It took a lot to figure out. Not for the timid, that's for sure.
OTHER - I think a Cherry MX Clear switch would be perfect for me. Just a bit more resistance while typing. But they are nearly impossible to find, and when you do find them, they are expensive. Overall, the MX Brown are working out well for me.

After using the g710+ for about two years, I decided I wanted an upgrade to a keyboard with a smaller footprint and RGB, cause I'm basic.
Overall, it was well worth the upgrade and the overall quality of the keyboard is FANTASTIC. My only gripe is how the volume keys aren't elected as well, so it feels like a large dip from the numeric keys to the volume keys. Other than that, corsair knows what they are doing.

I would give it 5 stars but there is not that many color patterns from other users that I could find not even on their own website and when you click on their links you get web errors did manage to download one though nore does the keyboard it's self save it's last state unless you run their software so i usally just leave it on the defualt colors
