The sound level is phenomenal looks good and the quality was great. The product really complemented my computer.

I cant hear it all. It does a great job helping with airflow too, my case stays nice and cool.

Still needed a fan though so i left it in the pc either way. Probably nit a problem everyone had, its still a good fan. Just doesnt match my setup

Louder than a $15 fan

When this thing is plugged in, it reads 53. When it's not, it reads 45. I had to replace two chassis fans. The $15 fan is quieter. I have never been a fan snob. I just use whatever comes standard with the case. I thought paying almost three times as much would give me a better fan. I guess not. Well, the air flow is great. I don't mind the "whoosh." It's the humming that's killing me. I can hear the motor whirring. What's that? "Turn it down," you say? Oh, I did. I have NEVER gone into the BIOS to adjust fan settings—but I did for this one! 53 decibels is what the CPU runs it at for "silent" mode. "Standard" is louder, and when Qfan speed was disabled, I thought my computer was gearing up for takeoff. The box says 32 decibels at max performance. I'm getting 53 at 1100 of 1600 max RPMs. What a joke.
