Corsair ML120 Triple Pack

After building a new computer to try to beat the heat of Summer, I wanted to try out the ML120s. I have previous experience with the ML120 as I also have a All-in-one cooler by Corsair that came equipped with them. I was drawn to use these due to their efficient and quiet performance. I never hear these fans ramp up while undergoing a heavy gaming load. The kit also comes with 3 fans and the Lighting Node Pro. The Lighting Node Pro is a component that syncs your lighting together. This makes using the Corsair software, iCUE, a breeze as I can control all the fan colors in one click rather than needing to change each fan individually. iCUE will also allow you to sync the lighting of all your other Corsair products. The Lighting Node Pro was a must for me as my motherboard did not support this many RGB fans. The only issue I ran into while setting the fans up was only an issue with my configuration, but was something worth mentioning. I am currently running too many fans as my motherboard does not have enough fan headers. I did need to order a powered fan splitter to make this setup possible. Overall, I would recommend these fans to anyone who is willing to invest in great fans.

They are not silent but are noticably quieter than the other Corsair fans they replaced. As far as the led lighting, I wish there were more LEDs on these fans like the ones included with the elite aio coolers.

So the cooling is slighty less than i hoped. As well the normal ML 120 pros are also much quiter in the RPM range i run at.

I have 7 120's and 2 140's in my build and it runs pleasantly quiet and cool. The RGB's are falling behind compared to other offerings though. 4 addressable on the hub is just not enough to make the fan seem "lit" in comparison to many others out there. I would prefer this fan with 8 or so in the hub, so the light would be a bit more even.

Please be aware! There are TWO DIFFERENT versions

The 'Fan Pack' units only come with 4-LEDs each. However their AIO kits, namely the Corsair Elite Capellex product line come with fans that have 8 LEDS each, and have a broader RPM range. They are also magnetic levitation fans as well. It's just a shame that they do not sell the superior fan separately. Currently the only way to get the better units is to buy the Capellix AIO kits, even if the radiator/pump assembly is useless to you. I even tried getting 'replacement' Capellix-style ML120's directly from Corsair. 6 months later, still waiting for a re-stock.
