This keyboard is very good. Its sturdy and well made and the keys click but dont have that feeling of clicking in it's a lot more smooth. It comes with textured keys for fps and rpg games. It also has many lighting features. Just be aware you need two usb ports for this keyboard. Highly recommended

This a great solid keyboard. With some pretty nice features. The only issue I have is some of the keys come off with normal usage. after placing the key back on the key pops off again after a while. But its a great keyboard and is a great investment.

This is my second mechanical keyboard and the first with brown switches and I have to say it’s probably the beat feeling keyboard I’ve used to date. Keys are smooth, quiet and very responsive. The rgb lightning is nice and very customizable through icue software.

Top notch keyboards, but pricey. Well made and add that extra finesse to systems that use Corsair iCue. Unfortunately, I didn’t end up keeping this model. I thought the extra ‘G’ keys on this kb would work for my needs but did not, so I returned it for the Strafe.

First every gaming keyboard and I got to say it's marvelous, the RBG is amazing and being able to customize the setting for it makes it even more awesome, rainbows for days. The noise it makes when you type reminds of those old typewriter and it's just so satisfying to hear.

I have had a lot of gaming keyboards over the years, but this one is by far one of the best ones I have ever had. It is pretty quiet and smooth, and I love how you can program all the different colors to fit my mood. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants an awesome gaming keyboard.

Like the tactile key switches, like the metal case, not sure i like the heavy duty cable, seems like it always gets in the way. The keys don't appear to have any bounce when used. The price is a little steep, but you pay for quality.

The Corsair Platinum K95 is an excellent keyboard. I am able to type much faster than with my old keyboard. I purchased the version with the Cherry Brown keys and they are great for typing. I am a programmer by trade and can type for long periods of time with this keyboard without my fingers getting tired. A lot of other keyboards have shallow travel in the keys and that tends to hurt my fingers. I think this is a good gaming keyboard also but you would definitely want the Cherry Red keys if that is your primary function. The only issues I have found is with the volume wheel Corsair should put a better wheel in this keyboard for the price but I am not going to dock a star for that since it does work good enough for my use. The other issue I found is the software isn't as intuitive as it could be, however it does work and once I got used to it I was able to customize the keyboard the way I wanted.

This is my 5th Corsair Keyboard. I usually by them 2 at a time for both by son and I. The last 3 keyboards I purchases all had the following keys upside-down ( - = ; ' ) This was in the last 2 weeks. Even a different model came with upside-down keys. I did not like the Platinum. Because I use the ( `) key often in weapon swapping. I kept hitting the macro keys on the side that I don't use. I now have 2 Strafe Mk.2 Keyboards. I love the way the keys feel and react. The Corsair Strafe Mk.2 is an awesome all-round keyboard. My son loves it. However out of the 2 Strafe keyboards 1 came with the volume roll button not pressed in all the way. While these are pricey keyboards. I am wondering who is personally manufacturing them and inspecting them with 4 or obvious QA mistakes. I am happy with them. I would buy them again. I would even consider giving them as gifts to others.swapping. I kept hitting the macro keys on the side that I don't actually use. I now have 2 Strafe Mk.2 Keyboards. This is a fun keyboard lots of extended functionality and a very good macro development system. I upgraded my RGB Strife keyboard for the additional macro keys and audio controls.
Only con is it's very expensive, but if you keep watch, it goes on sale every few months.

If you love computers for games and you love the corsair brand this is your keyboard. Its keys are cherry mx brown mechanics. Which made some noise. ACCOUNTS WITH CASH BUY IT and do not skimp on prices.

This keyboard (even though it is a little clicky) feels fantastic. The color options through iCue are great and very in depth, and I just can’t say enough about it.
Only downside to this is the wrist rest, but that’s pretty easily fixed.

I been eyeballing this keyboard since it came out. My local Best Buy did not carry it. Plus, it was pricey and that kept me away.
I went into town to pick up a keyboard they had on sale, then I noticed this setting next to it and it was a great price, so I talked picked it up as a Christmas present for myself.
Before I bought opened the package, I looked into it to see if I could turn off the lights, and the answer was yes you can. But if you’re keeping it a secret from your other half, well you might get busted. You can turn off the lights, but power the computer either on or off, the keyboard will light up like a Christmas tree. Mouse to (I added the Glaive) So half star off for that.
Typing on this feels very solid, it's been a long time since I had a mechanical keyboard. Love the way it sounds. And it might be a touch louder than say the Logitech wireless flavors I’ve been using. If you ask me, if you type a mile a minute, they are all noisy. One thing I’m hoping for, that this holds up longer. I wear them out quickly. Finger placement in the dark was impossible after that as you could not find F & J keys. And the letters wore off to. Only time will tell on this keyboard.
The software for the keyboard does not come with, you have to download it of the web. No bid deal right? I had no issues installing it on a home built Windows 10 Pro unit. And all seems to work so far. Even controls the mouse plus other things their gaming headphones and I believe a light mouse pad???
So I don’t think my typing has improved any. Although I’ve been sliding downhill in the bad habit side of things for a while now. As for gaming, I have not walked down that path yet. Not much of a gamer, but more likely give it a try.
I must come up with another a half a star to make it even 4. So I’ll add that because of price.

A bit loud, but excellent keyboard!

I never thought I would want a new keyboard until my husband got me this one. It's a bit loud in the clicks, but I absolutely love the response time and the way it feels. I changed the WASD keys for the gray ones that are included and the lip on the d and a are throwing me off when typing normally, but when playing, they make it so much easier to feel and "grip". The RGB is excellent and so cool to play around with. For me, the G1-6 keys on the left most part of the keyboard are a bit useless as I don't ever use macros (not much really), but I can see my husband liking those though.
I guess if I had to be very nit picky about this keyboard is that it's high. You HAVE to use some sort of wrist pad or the one that comes included due to the height of the keyboard. Makes long sessions of typing hard. Gaming, on the other hand, I don't seem to mind it.
