This keyboard is amazing, fully customizable and looks fantastic. One of the best keyboards Corsair has to offer and you will not be disappointed. Key stroke is perfect and very satisfying.

Let me summarize the most noticeable feature about this keyboard, the MX speed switch.. It carries a performance advantage if you are competitive, and is less tiring on your left hand over time, and is satisfying despite the 1.4 mm travel distance compared to 2.0mm. It does take a while to get used to, however once you do, it is awesome. The k70 is a very sturdy yet sleek keyboard. Corsair utilizes solid materials in it's construction and it feels much more heavy, and high quality than a razer blackwidow, which I also own, yet is smaller and more minimalist. I use this keyboard in a lapdog, and couch game with it. I can safely say that this is the most high quality mechanical keyboard I have ever used.

The keys feel smooth and they register very quickly. the clacking noise isnt real loud and the light schemes for the keyboard seem endless and cool. great feel and look overall.

If you're into hallucinogenic drugs, you won't need this keyboard! It can do it for you. On the other hand if you just want to see your keys in either low light or fully lit rooms with a logical color code to your keys, check this one out. Sure, there are scripts to make your keybd look like a Las Vegas marquee on full tilt, but it has a lot to offer for simpler folks like me, too. The keys are mechanically very tactile but NOT quiet by design. I like to hear myself hit the key. But if you leave a finger too heavy, she will machine gun on you! And if find my presses misaligned touch typing but I never was one anyway. After using my last Logitech G19 for many years, I think the key spacing may be slightly different but after about a month of using this one, I've adjusted. I decided on this keybd for two reasons: the ample lighting (and adjustments) and the "open" nature of the layout. With its heavier construction of an aluminum frame & raised keys, it doesn't move around as much. And who has not been eating while typing with greasy fingers or crumbs falling in between keys? Ever try to clean 100+ keys of grime and debris? That's life, huh? With no shell covering the key base, it's so much easier to brush in between keys. And for grease build up on the key face, ASUS also provides a nice tool to extract each key for wipe down and it snaps right back on afterwards. Overall, it does the job I wanted. A little more than I wanted to spend but the aluminum construction (weight), the "open" keys and customized lighting feature made it worth the extra cash from the typical plastic trash collectors.

Had the K70 Red and picked this up for a second computer. Love the switches and RGB options. Timing was poor though, as there's a new MK.2 out now. Check that out.

This keyboard is perfect for folks like me who enjoy gaming and FPS titles. The mechanical keys are excellent, responsive and easy to type on. They also include extra keys for FPS and MOBA players that provide a customized feel for your particular genre. Since you can adjust the back-lighting, you can create multiple profiles suited to your games. For example, I have a custom Overwatch profile that highlights all the keys commonly used in the game. You can also color code them which is cool. My only slight disappointment is there isn't an option for the cherry MX blue (clicky) keys. I do prefer the audible feedback when typing.

I'm typing this review with this keyboard as you read it! This keyboard is incredibly responsive and makes typing a breeze. In addition, I can feel that the response I get in gaming is so much more sensitive as well. The additional keycaps really make a difference when you want to let your fingers fly and find your directional buttons instantly. The only bad thing I have to say about this keyboard is that I tend to make a few more typing mistakes when using it for writing. This is not such a big deal to me because I can recover quickly. But, there is definitely a learning curve. Otherwise, it's the best keyboard I've had!

Corsair has been my favorite brand, by far, for a very long time! This keyboard yet again shows the level of quality you can expect from them. Pros: very nice lighting, additional ergonomic w-a-s-d keys, fairly quite keys for a mechanical keyboard. Cons: buttons are extremely sensitive, not really a con but it took a couple weeks to get used to not resting my fingers. Just leaving my thumb on space would make my characters jump or stand up without actually pushing the keys. Every key is super sensitive. However with that said still 5 stars because once you get used to that it's an incredible keyboard.

Top of the line keyboard for the price. Being able to change the keyboard lights and response time for the keys make this the perfect gaming keyboard.

Cherry switches. Mechanical Keyboard. RGB. Everything about this keyboard is awesome. Haven't had any problems with it in half a year of use.

The RGB lighting is icing on the cake. The real impressive part of this keyboard is how incredibly responsive the Cherry MX Speed switches are.

Keyboard has amazing quality. Will likely outlast any keyboard on the market. The LED effects with customization is limitless and really adds such neat effects!

Really impressed by this keyboard. Plenty of customizable RGB options, quick response times, short keystrokes, and intuitive media controls.

The keys are very fast fire. Took a little to get used to the super soft touch. It is very easy to hit a key unintentionally while typing. The quality is top notch. Just wish keys were a little less sensitive. For a gamer that wants an RGB keyboard this is one to look at. And Corsair quality!!!

I love it! The RGB looks great, and the software is easy to use as well. The switches feel so good to type on as well as game on. I definitely reccomend this!

Got it for my brother as a Christmas present and he loves it the lights look awesome and it very light really easy to type and play games.

To keep it relatively short and sweet, this keyboard is great. After using this keyboard for the better part of a year I can honestly justify the premium price to it. The switches are no joke, and really do hold up to the title of "rapid fire." It took some getting used to since they keys require almost zero effort to press, the slightest touch makes them go, it is highly sensitive. Some people may not like that, but for me I really enjoy it for gaming and typing. It is very efficient. The full RGB is pretty sweet too. If you dowload the corsair utility program on your rig, you can do some pretty cool and 100% pure customization for color schemes, macros, and if you have other corsair rbg devcies, you can even do synchronized lighting. Cleaning the keyboard is pretty easy too. The switches are slightly raised from the base of the board allowing easier access for cans of air and Q-tips to get in there. Cool added features: It comes with a detatchable wrist guard for addded comfort if you have long sessions. Has a cool little volume controler that lets you adjust your system volume which I found myself using a lot more than I expected. It also has a USB port so if you quickly want to plug a usb stick or charge your phone, you can do it staright from the keyboard. Only "con" I can really think of is that the keyboard requires 2 free usb ports on your computer to plug it in. So if you dont have many USB ports to spare then consider getting a usb hub. Overall this keyboard is solid and I dont plan on getting a new one any time soon.

Love this keyboard! Keys are smooth and not super loud when I type, not to mention I can set the colors to any pattern I wish.

Really enjoying this keyboard, upgrading from an old Logitech G15. Great response and feedback on each keystroke. The RGB is a bonus.

Great keyboard. Good size. Removable wrist rest is more than amazing. The key click feedback is great as well as the RGB.
