The keyboard sounds, feels, and reacts really well. I’ve had some problems though with a bad switch and some disconnecting issues. I’m in the process of figuring them out and I believe it’s a problem I’m creating my own self. I’d just watch out plugging in multiple keyboards, I ran into a problem when I had 3 at a time. Great wrist rest, very comfortable and luxury feel. The lighting and the effects are smooth and not overbearing. Performance, it feels so much faster with actuation settings. The different ways to use the knob is nice. The display is great for adjusting the the actuation point. I believe there to be more use cases for the display soon and they’d be convenient.

The corsair vangaurd is premium. Great for typing because of the 96 layout. Great for gaming due to the hall effect. Great for streaming and entertainment thanks tothe stream deck option.

NICE AND QUIET, LOVE THE NUMERICAL COMPACT AND EASY. STILL NEED TO GET THE BEST OUT OF IT BUT IT VERY RELIANT!!

best feeling keyboard I have typed on. getting numpad on a small form factor is a game changer moving from a full size KB. deducting 1 star as icue support is still in development. it should have launched with it.

[Employee of bestbuy] Price is definitely is up there but I must say this is one of the best keyboards I've laid my hands on. The software at the moment isn't the best but once they get it updated I imagine it'll be fine. The switches feel so nice and the keyboard isn't as sensitive as the K65 Pro. Very precise inputs which makes it feel good for not only gaming but also regular day to day use (school, work, etc.). Overall, I recommend this keyboard and if you are willing to dish out the money for it I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Absolutely DO NOT buy this keyboard. This keyboard will stop working conveniently outside of a return window for Best Buy, and Corsair will only offer replacements with another faulty product. This keyboard is $200 and it only lasted half a year. Now its a lightup paper weight. I will never buy another Corsair product again, nor will I go through Best Buy anymore either. Refusing a refund for a faulty product that has no external damage in less than a year all because I don't purchase their overly expensive subscription service for what should be foundational service for their customers to begin with is insanity.

I've been using this keyboard for a few months now and I'm just as happy with it as the day I first opened the box. If you are light on the keys, this thing is almost silent due to its linear, magnetic switches. I love that you can change the actuation point of the switches - I play a lot of games requiring fast inputs so being able to actuate a key by barely pressing it down comes in handy. I haven't used many of the other features afforded by the magnetic switches such as performing another action at different keystroke depths or when releasing a key, nor have I used the macro keys on the side of they keyboard or found a use for the built in stream deck buttons. That said, almost everything is easily accessible (including the side keys for people that have keys like that integrated into their work/game flows. The media knob is responsive and robust, the little built in screen is well... it's there. The web hub is my biggest gripe. Its core functionality is there and you can change everything you could dream of, but it's slow and I can't integrate my keyboard into the lighting controller I use for the rest of my system. Again, a stupid gripe but something to be aware of if you do use a program such as SignalRGB to handle lighting control. Oh, and you have to use chrome to install the webapp if you want to use it offline, otherwise you have to have an internet connection to change the settings on your keyboard. Now - as for my experience. As said earlier, I have all of my keys set to actuate at pretty much their highest point (just .4mm of depression needed for a keystroke to register.) Because I am not the lightest of typists, I do have issues with double tapping a key when I didn't want to. If you are also heavy fingered when typing, I recommend backing off to a less aggressive height (.8mm or larger) to avoid the key's rebound from striking the top of it's stroke causing an extra input. Overall, I recommend this keyboard. Corsair offers refurbished models of this keyboard on their site for a massive discount, and at the time of writing this review (7-2-2026) this keyboard is on sale for a nice price for what you're getting. At its current price - this is a 9/10 keyboard. For what I paid, I have to knock it down to an 8.5. If you go through Corsair directly and get this keyboard through their revival series, this is easily a 9.5 or 10. If you can try it out in store, I would recommend that so you know what you're going to be typing on before taking it home.

For the first time in 30(ish) years of computer building and using I have a keyboard I absolutely love you use. Quiet, responsive, backlit, macro buttons everything. The led screen and the volume knob is just an added bonus! I’m a keep plugged in person for all my gaming and a need to comfy sit for programming and testing. It’s nice being able to do both. Amazing keyboard finally! Now I will be fair I wish I had bought the 98 though my fingers are big and things slip sometimes but still. I love how it feels and types.

As a keyboard it’s phenomenal. The form factor and build quality is really quite nice and pleasing. The keycaps are very high quality PBT and the switches are a delight to type on. Very smooth and thunky. You aren’t getting the experience of a custom linear board with insulation and vibration mounts but it’s good for what it is. My only real complaint is the lack of icue support at the time of writing. Icue web is ok but it’s finicky. And wireless connectivity at this price point should be more widely expected. The screen is big and bright but a bit difficult to see and the size limit for files is kind of small. RGB is subtle and tasteful. The wrist rest is very well shaped and extremely comfortable. One of the best I’ve used. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique Corsair board with tasteful high end design and a good form factor. Just needs better software support.

For those who like the smoother, non-clicky keyboards, this is a great keyboard. It's not crazy loud, but it still has a nice sound to it. I like that this keyboard works seamlessly with the iCue ecosystem. The screen can be annoying to add gifs and images to at times. You can load presets into the keyboards internal memory, but I've noticed it sometimes "forgets" and just goes back to the corsair logo gif. I like the customizable keys. I don't use any of the streamdeck features, but I know there are some really cool features in this keyboard that some people would find really useful for streaming with. Overall, a very nice keyboard, especially if you can get it on sale!

The noise level and sound. Is sweet. The build quality is good. The program is non-existent.

I’ve been using the Corsair Vanguard Pro 96 and overall it’s a very impressive high-end gaming keyboard with a few notable strengths and a couple of drawbacks. What’s Great: The magnetic MGX Hall effect switches feel smooth, responsive, and quiet, giving a premium typing and gaming experience The 96% layout keeps most of the full-size functionality while saving desk space, and the build quality feels solid with nice keycaps and RGB lighting. Features like adjustable actuation, 8,000 Hz polling, Rapid Trigger, and macro keys make it great for competitive gaming. Extras like the wrist rest and RGB look sharp, overall feels premium and enjoyable to use. Common Issues: The software experience is a sore point — it currently relies on Corsair’s browser-based Web Hub instead of iCUE, I find it clunky, limited, and prone to issues. I’ve experienced settings not saving, lighting quirks, or glitches when trying to customize features. Minor hardware/firmware oddities (like key behavior after tuning actuation).

Best gaming keyboard I have ever own. I just upgrade my 6 years old pc to corsair a7500 air pc and I bought this keyboard after watched and read a lot of reviews about it and I will never regret. This is have everything I need for personal use and gaming purposes. It is great quality, nice looking and I love the sound of the keyboard. It is a low noise keyboard to use at night when you have someone sleep in your bedroom. I can't say much about this one because it is too perfect for me. It is improve my gaming style and makes me feel good every time I use it. I highly recommend this to anyone who one a low noise keyboard with a nice looking.

The keyboard is comfortable and the keys are easy to manage when gaming. Sometimes they felt with other keyboards like the lettere were slightly off by a few centimeters. These feels just right when playing so I dont have to take a quick glimpse if Im hitting the right key.
