best feeling keyboard I have typed on. getting numpad on a small form factor is a game changer moving from a full size KB. deducting 1 star as icue support is still in development. it should have launched with it.

Price is definitely is up there but I must say this is one of the best keyboards I've laid my hands on. The software at the moment isn't the best but once they get it updated I imagine it'll be fine. The switches feel so nice and the keyboard isn't as sensitive as the K65 Pro. Very precise inputs which makes it feel good for not only gaming but also regular day to day use (school, work, etc.). Overall, I recommend this keyboard and if you are willing to dish out the money for it I don't think you'll be disappointed.

This keyboard is incredible. The magnetic hall effect switches feel smooth and responsive, and Rapid Trigger makes every key press lightning fast. The 96% layout saves space without losing important keys. Build quality is solid, RGB looks amazing, and the typing experience is top-tier. Highly recommend for competitive gaming or fast typing.

The CORSAIR VANGUARD PRO 96 is hands down one of the best gaming keyboards I’ve ever used. The 96% layout is perfect—compact enough to save desk space but still gives you all the keys you need. The build quality feels rock-solid, and the magnetic MGX linear Hall Effect switches are unbelievably smooth. Every key press is clean, fast, and consistent. Rapid Trigger is a complete game changer for competitive gaming. The response time feels instant, and being able to re-activate keys at different travel points makes movement and firing feel incredibly precise. FlashTap SOCD is another standout, giving you reliable input control during high-speed gameplay. The RGB lighting is bright, vibrant, and fully customizable through iCUE, and the keyboard’s overall design looks premium in black—nothing cheap or flimsy here. Typing on it is just as satisfying as gaming, thanks to the buttery-smooth switches and excellent acoustics. If you’re a serious gamer or just want cutting-edge performance in a clean, compact form factor, the VANGUARD PRO 96 is absolutely worth every penny. CORSAIR nailed it with this one.

Great keyboard overall. The feel of the keys as well as all the extra utilities provided are great. The wrist pad is very comfortable and feels like it will hold up. As of now it doesnt have a direct addon for icue but a web app instead (needed to update). The left shift is short so i often hit the up arrow key instead of left shift (just something you have to get used to)

This keyboard has been great to use over the few weeks I've had it so far. It's incredibly smooth to type on as the Hall effect keys make typing feel much more satisfying then just hitting a switch. The screen is also nice, however still feels like a gimmick as you can't display anything useful on it when idle such as CPU info. Same with the side buttons and gamer mode, they don't do much of anything given the current state of iCue. Still, great keyboard that of it went on sale I'd recommend.

review I did on 9/28/25 although typing on the keyboard feels great, the software sucks. I did do the update for the device at the time. they completely ditched their ICUE app and went with a super buggy webhub app that does not work at all Pros: I like how it feels when I type on the keyboard Cons: Webhub is seriously buggy, any settings I make takes forever to save or load, unable to upload custom gif to the 320x170 lcd screen since it bugs out when uploading then freezes the webhub app, it deleted all my custom keyboard settings twice, and I had to factory reset once just to get app to work again webhub app only works on certain browsers, and even then sometimes does not recognize the keyboard and I have to plug unplug until it recognize the keyboard would have liked it to work with ICUE app, but it does not. lighting effects constantly bugs out or does not even work In the end after trying out for a few days I returned it.

So to start the software is terrible, you have to use a online app (a web based ui) to customize your settings. On top of that iCUE doesnt support the keyboard but instead it cant be used at the same time you want to customize your keyboard, the whole point of iCUE is all in one place customization. On top of this if you mess with any of the key sensitivity settings it promots you will have sticky key issues (when you press a button like w and it keeps pressing it) even after you reset the keyboard it will still persists. I honesty love the feel of the keyboard but with everything else wrong with it i have to give it a 1 star. I love corsair and their products but for a very expensive high end keyboard and all these issues i would not recommend it, also yes i did update the firmware of the keyboard to the latest software and the issues persisted. I will be returning this product

Holy moly, the Corsair Vanguard Pro 96 RGB keyboard? Picture this: it's like a hyperactive alien octopus mated with a rainbow vomiting disco ball and then got adopted by a time traveling ninja squirrel on a mission to overthrow boring desks everywhere! This 96% layout is a freakin' quantum space warping zap! Suddenly your desk has room for a portal to Narnia, your collection of cursed rubber ducks, and that one sock that's been plotting world domination since 2007. The RGB lighting? Oh boy, it's got more shades than a psychedelic chameleon's fever dream, transforming your all nighter coding binges into an interdimensional rave where even your grandma's ghost shows up to boogie and trust me, my goldfish gives it a side eye from its bowl fortress. Those mechanical switches? They're witchcraft level responsive, typing out Shakespearean sonnets before you even think of the words, and tougher than a diamond plated armadillo wrestling a volcano surviving my epic oops, I rage-flipped the table during a Fortnite loss tantrum like a boss. If you're scouring the multiverse for a keyboard that's equal parts mad scientist invention, emotional support animal, and style icon from a feverish meme dimension snag this cosmic beast before it warps reality and keystrokes your soul into eternal bliss! Super duper recommend, or I'll juggle flaming chainsaws while riding a unicycle made of expired cheese (don't ask about my last attempt).

Key presses feel amazing, the keyboard just works, iCUE support is coming soon, but the web interface works fine for now. If key placement is important for you, note that they compressed things into unique positions to get the 96% layout on a smaller board. I've adapted and happy with the overall performance.

The keyboard itself is very good quality and comfortable to use the only issue I have is the software which can be a bit unintuitive and has forgotten some of my presets with the screen on the keyboard resetting to default at times

Excellent keyboard. Some firmware hiccups but they got solved with a recent update. Very quiet with a tacky sound, accurate actuation and very light. You can also adjust the deadzone of each key.

Overall I love the keyboard. BUT it does not have ICUE support, was told it would eventually. For now your stuck with Corsair Web Hub, not a fan but it works kinda. Currently on my second keyboard as my first had a problem when my computer wouldn't recognize my device when plugged in and the keyboard didnt even light up. Corsair support was very helpful though and I got a replacement sent to me after sending the other one.

I’ll start off with saying I love the compact full sized layout. The switches feel great and there’s so much to love about the keyboard but it’s crippled by bad software. Went through 2 different units that were plagued by keys stuck being registered despite it being full depressed.
