Works great, easy add-on, cheaper than OEM

As with all the lower priced computers, it only had 8GB of RAM. It's easy and inexpensive to add your own RAM if you have an open slot as I did. It sure is a lot cheaper than buying a new computer with all the RAM installed. I installed it in the free slot, turned it on, and it was good to go. Now instead of a measly 8GB, I've got 24, which should be more than adequate for an inexpensive gaming computer.

16gb ddr5 4800 laptop memory

Installed it in the second slot of Lenovo LOQ Ryzen edition which has 1 stick 8gb at 5600mhz and this one is 4800, works without any issues, for total of 24gb capacity. It downclock the original 8gb from 5600 to 4800 but still fast enough as the price difference between 16gb 5600 and 16gb 4800 is about $20 which is not worth it to me. It takes about 2 minutes for the bios to recognize the new ram module during which time the screen is black keep that in mind so you don't think the ram is faulty.
