The first time I went into the store to buy laptop memory, I told the sales person I was looking for memory for my gaming laptop. However, I made a mistake and didn't say "gaming laptop", instead mentioned the model of my laptop. I was fairly inexperienced with buying memory for a laptop, so I accepted the item the sales person recommended. Well, the problem was, they didn't ask additional questions to confirm exactly what kind of memory I needed, and instead by memory sticks for a PC. As soon as I got home, and opened it up, I realized the mistake and had to return it of course. I returned it, and bout the correct stick of ram, but again, when I asked the sales person about options, they just grabbed 1 32GB stick. After I got home, opened the laptop, and realized there was two slots I could put memory in, I did a little research on line, and found that due to dual channel it is better to have 2 16GB of ram, than 1 32GB. So, I returned to the store, and returned it and got 2 16 GB sticks. The first thing I would say about this review is, Best Buy, you would save yourself money with returns, by making sure your sales people be a little more inquisitive, and help the customer confirm exactly what they need and want. Unfortunately, after all of that, and getting the 2 sticks of 16GB ram installed, it still didn't boost my gaming laptop enough to handle what I was trying to do with some VR modding. To pay over $400 for just 32GBs of ram and it not boost performance enough is why I gave this product 2 starts, and because of the lack of expert help at Best Buy.

Easy to install, works well with if you need more ram.

Works well. Bought two of these for my framework 13 laptop. Works well worth the hx370

32 GB gave me plenty of headroom for gaming. I was using 16GB or a little more running Windows 11, Discord, and World of Warcraft Midnight on the highest graphics settings. Now I have plenty of headroom running multiple apps. This memory is also the same speed as the RAM that shipped with my Asus Strix 16. The huge downside is it is a terrible time to buy RAM. I've never seen it this expensive.

Allows for a second ram stick, please don't mix and match, has made it so out laptop is ready for next gen of games and am thankful with how fast it came!

Just what I needed for my gaming laptop worked out great

Could not find this exact RAM stick anywhere else for less than $250 and/or on backorder until January 2026. Thank God Best Buy had it in stock to save me.
