This headset is worth every penny. It fits very well making it great to wear during long gaming sessions and is well matched with it's great sound quality. Highly recommend!

I wanted a good all-around personal use headset for my PC - music, voice recognition, video conferencing, etc. and I was frustrated with the low quality of the mic on the audio market headphones, and with the overall quality of business market models, so I asked a Best Buy employee for advice. He suggested a gaming headset. I bought the Void and it works great: good sound, good mic, noise reduction, and cool programmable flashy lights!!! bitchin!!!

I love the headset, fits comfortably and sounds great. I just wish it would also work with 3.5mm audio plugs.

The sound of the headphones are nice and clear. No out side noise gets through and they are very comfortable.

My son and I went to BB sorta blind when it comes to headsets for PC. Short version of the story is that we took this headset home after talking to a sales associate at length. Based on our budget and needs, we felt this product was the best deal. We were right! They sound awesome, and the retractable mic is superb. My son has already spent a few hours using the headset to play Smite with friends, and he loves the seamless integration with the audio program they use to chat during the game. Score another victory for Corsair, a brand I've come to trust over the years.

These headphones are built well and are very comfortable. The sound is clear and immersive with surround sound on. Settings are also easy to adjust.

lightweight and great sound, i can hear background noises from the game that i never noticed before, the simulated 5.1 surround is amazing too

Purchased for my son. Sound quality is great but already complaining about the mic - others say he sounds soft & quiet thru it.

I primarily bought this headset because of the "true multi-channel 7.1 surround sound." These aren't "virtual surround" like other gaming headsets. With that being said, I am satisfied with the sound. If you're looking for super deep bass for your rap songs, this may not be the right choice. I feel it's fine for gaming. In other reviews I've seen, some users have complained about discomfort after prolonged use. Yes. This is true. I've had more comfortable headsets. Usually, adjusting the headset position, rotating it forward or backward will help. This is an 16.8 mil RGB headset that lights up with the color of your choice. Personally, I don't find the lights or the Corsair graphics that light up on the ear cups to be at all exciting. Maybe if more of the surface area of the headset had lights or the graphics were better, I would use this feature. Some users complain about the CUE software not working on Windows 10. It works fine for me and I do use it for the EQ and Dolby settings—and I used it to turn the RGB light feature off. Overall, I think the headset is great since it's one of the very few with actual "true multi-channel 7.1 surround sound" built in. This was helpful in my decision to purchase. I did confirm with the system sound test and Windows 10 does recognize the headset as 7.1. If you casually play games that can benefit from surround sound, this is a solid choice. I use a separate external mic, so I can't give any feedback on the microphone.

Fits just right. External noise reduction allows for greater game immersion. Sound quality is also outstanding. Can't ask for more.

I'm someone who likes good bang for their buck. When I picked this up for $50 I didn't think it was going to be be that great but it turns out it exceeded my expectations. The sounds is great. Deep bass and great highs. The mic is clear and easy to use. It has two buttons. One is to mute the mic (big button on the side) and it has a slider to turn the volume up and down. Clicking in the slider changes the different profiles that you can set. The only cons I have is that it isn't wireless.

They are comfortable, good sound, and the lighting is customizable with nearly unlimited options with the Corsair software.

I bought this game due to seeing a ad for it in one of my game magazines. Not only did it look fun but there is a copy of the first game included. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in it in the slightest.

The headset has a variety of sound and light illuminating settings. Quality of sound and voice chat is great.

I went through 3 other products around this price range. The USB Corsair headset is by far the best in terms of clarity. Footstep and gunshot directions are easily picked up. Other headsets at this price range either had too much static at higher volumes or had bad mics. This headset is also very comfortable to wear for hours..and the lighting effects are easily adjustable. The only slight con is that the mic is super directionally sensitive. Good thing the mic arm is adjustable!! :)

bought these on a recommendation from a friend i game with. all usual party members commented on how much clearer i came through with these vs an older astro a40 headset w/ mixamp i used previously. the audio itself leaves a bit to be desired but it isn't terrible. it does well for the price. i wish the cable was maybe 2-3 feet longer. if needed, i would probably purchase these again
