I've been through a LOT of headphones/headsets in my search for the best, so when I say that these are one of the MOST COMFORTABLE headsets I've ever worn, I mean it. (ESPECIALLY SINCE I WEAR GLASSES) I can wear these for literal days (I have) and not feel any fatigue/pain from wearing them. Razer or Logitech headsets leave me uncomfortable in hours. + The audio is quite good, even if there is a bit of a focus on the lower ends (as is the norm with "gaming" headphones/sets). If you don't like the default sound, it does include an equalizer in Corsair's iCue software (which is your hub for Corsair product control like Razer's Synapse, or Logitech's Gaming Software). + The range on this set is also pretty good compared to other wireless sets. My Logitech G933s cut in and out frequently just bending over/laying on my side with them on. I can move nearly everywhere in my 900sq ft apartment, only breaking signal near the outer edges of my place. (IF YOU CAN GET IT ON SALE, PICK UP THE SPECIAL EDITION WITH BASE EXTENDER!!!) + Volume control is a rocker instead of a scroller. It increases/decreases 2% (by Windows' volume scale) with each push. HIGHLY preferred over scrollers that can sometimes miss a small scroll when you want to go up or down just a bit. + BIG easy-to-find/feel Mute Mic button in addition to position activated mic. Simple, effective, reliable. - My biggest gripe with the headset is that a big part of its comfort comes from the weaker clamping force, which in turn means that they will slide off easily. Bend over for a while and you'll find them slowly sliding off your head. - Mic isn't the best quality. Same issue that plagues just about *every* gaming headset. (Not a big deal to me, I use a real mic.) - Another issue I have with it is that the mic is not removable, nor does it hide well. The activation distance for it is fairly close to its upward position as well, so all it takes is a small bump downward to turn it on. - RGB color on sides aren't very - Smallest gripe with the headset is the lack of a 3.5mm input on the base or headset. Would be nice to have, but honestly, not a huge deal. TL;DR HIGHLY recommend this headset. It goes on sale often, so keep an eye out! You get so much bang for your buck if you can pick it up cheap. Usual price isn't too bad either, but in my opinion, it's worth holding out until a sale.

    Good But Not Perfect

When I was looking for my next headset after my Logitech G930 died I had a few requirements. I needed something wireless, comfortable, with good sound and excellent battery life. The Corsair Void Pro mostly lives up to my expectations, with a few exceptions. The Good Build quality seems above average for the price. The headset itself is not light, which I'll talk about more in a minute. The headset is fairly comfortable, with cups that fit over your ears rather than on them. The fabric cover rather than a faux leather/vinyl is preferable, but does seem to let in a little more outside noise than some other headsets. The mic works as expected, and the optional mic feedback is a feature I don't think I can live without anymore. Range is also quite acceptable, and I'm able to walk anywhere in my 2k sq ft home without losing the signal. Battery life is also decent, and seems to last for about 3-4 fairly prolonged sessions. The headset can be used while charging, which should just be a given for any wireless headset. The Bad The headset is heavy (I said we'd come back to this), so heavy that I found it did not sit securely on my head. When I tilted my head forward or backward the weight of the headset would cause it to shift around quite a bit, and even fall off. Sometimes the headset would pivot on my ears, and the headband would flip either forward in front of my eyes, or backward onto my neck. I was able to solve the problem by attaching a strap to the back of the headset. With this modification the headset is very stable and comfortable. Software can also be a little buggy. I've had several problems with Discord not recognizing the headset, with the mic feedback suddenly stopping, with windows not recognizing the headset, and a few other buggy issues. Verdict On the whole, the Void Pro works well when it works, and it works much more often than it doesn't. The rear headband hack fixed the one glaring design issue that I had, but I'd like to see Corsair include this feature stock. I don't care about the LED lighting, but if you're into that then this headset should please you. There are a few other good options out there, but on the whole I'm happy with this purchase.

Love the battery life and has good sound. Wish they had a little more bass during big gun battles. Only con i have with this set is they are very lose fitting on the head and no way to make them snug.

Super comfortable Good sound Great low end response Good options (and ability to mix output directly to headphones) Only con so far: I can’t quite get it to stay snug on my head if I’m leaning my head forward (only listening to music while writing something). Not a design flaw, could just be my head shape.

My previous headset were corsair also. A much older version, outdated. The USB dongle/wireless plugin was problematic, often dropping signal and cutting out. This new headset however performs near 100% perfectly. It is very comfortable and I've worn it for hours at a time with/without voice chat on Discord for gaming sessions. Sound quality, mic quality seems right on track. The software/drivers seem to function quite well. The software you can install will allow you to customize RGB settings, surround sound settings, equalizer, bass etc. Quality, comfort are 5 stars for construction, length of time wearing, they don't feel flimsy or like they'll break easily. Many reviewers complained of overheating on their ears with the RGB lights on. I noticed no difference with or without them, no extreme heat or discomfort. Sound quality. Overall excellent. I never use the 7.1 settings, i tried them out with movies, games, music etc and it just sounds weird and not like surround sound, but in my experience all headphones sound weird with surround sound. Using them without surround sound they are quality, the volume levels are surprisingly low. At max volume they are not as loud as most other headphones i've used.. not that we really need them at max, but just a comparison/thought. I have not used many gaming headsets and cannot compare to razors, or other brands. I recommend picking these up on sale if possible. Give them a few days to adjust to the sound differences. I went from 5.1 to 7.1 and everything sounded different, took tweaking of equalizer etc to get it where I like. Get on sale, not quite 5 star product. Volume could be louder but not a deal breaker. The bass is great imo. One of the best things i've found with these are listening to binaural audio tracks. Smarter Every Day space x binaural video on youtube is a great example. These headphones are beautiful for this if make it sound like you are truly there watching a live space launch.

pros: -It's not heavy on the ears in a way that it does not grab hard which is very important -Sound quality is average and listening to songs and gaming has a warm feeling to it which is good and you get used to it -battery is o.k -mic quality is o.k with decent amount of noise cancellation cons: -the mic stays muted when pulled down (like once a month) which is not a big deal since this doesn't happen often -no USB C -tilting your head forward or backwards might give you a feeling that the headset is going to fall but you'll get used to it pretty soon Overall we know this is not the highest end headset out there but i consider this one of my favorites specially since it is very light weighted and easy to use. that's why it deserves a 5 star rating

These are some good headphones that won’t break the bank. I picked these up after the yellow ones had a power issue and wouldn’t turn on. These are super comfortable and the mic is nice that it folds out of the way. These seem to be built well, and they have some weight to them. The wireless feature works really well, and I haven’t had any problems and you don’t have to worry about wires getting caught up. Using the iCue software gives you tons of customization for audio and you can control the RGB on the headphones. My one complaint and why I took off one star is that they are a bit too tall. On the smallest setting, the headphones don’t sit on my head and sometimes slip off. Check these out especially if there is a sale!

So far I’m enjoying this headset. I usually prefer wired headsets, but wanted to give wireless another try. The audio quality is great, ear cups are comfortable, and it’s has an overall good quality build. The 7.1 surround sound is really good and the set has a very sturdy and durable feel. Battery life depends on whether you have the RGB lights on. With them on, my first full charge lasted around 6-8 hrs. With them off it lasted around 12-14 hours of play. It’s advertised to last 16 hours. My only complaint is that they tend to get very hot around the ears because of the lights. I expected them to, but not this hot and this quickly. I think I might’ve gotten a defective pair however.

I love the way the sound flows through the speakers for this headset. However, it is very loose fitting and any sudden motion can make it fall off your head. I wish they would improve on this. Other than that a great headset. Easy to install and very user friendly. I don’t use the LED lights on the headset so I can get away with playing for two days straight without having to charge it. I can also walk around my entire apartment without it disconnected from the game which is very useful. I would definitely recommend this headset for the price.

PROS:Sound is great, battery seems to last a long time, comfortable for extended periods, people can hear me clearly when I talk CONS:On the heavy side, the way the weight is balanced takes some getting use to, they always feel loose like they are going to fall off if I look down. I bought them when they were on sale and overall they are a good value for the money. My kids have steel series headphones and while I think those are slightly better not sure if they are worth the price over these.

Best headset tested against the Logitech 933

I bought this and the Logitech 933 after reading reviews and listening to in-store demos. After weeks of using them both I returned the Logitech and went with the (cheaper) Corsair Void Pro. tl;dr The Corsair Pro simply performs better all the way around and is more comfortable (and cheaper). PROS: - Sound was better. The Corsair has a frequency range beyond that of the Logitech. Both in lower and higher hertz ranges. This means better bass and crisper highs/treble. - Mic was better. Logitech Mic has static. The mic is not crisp and clear but you can be heard. Not for biz meetings though. The Corsair is simply more crisp and clear. - More comfortable for extended wear. After more than an hour I needed to reposition the Logitech more than once to avoid physical pressure on my ears. The Corsair feels lighter and has better padding for comfort. - Better range. The Logitech will not reach more than maybe 25 ft away or through maybe(!) two walls. Could be a limitation of the compact wireless dongle. The Corsair Pro (only the Pro) has a USB base that the USB dongle plugs into to increase its range. It is def noticeable. CONS: - The 933 has a better overall design. The mic extends/retracts into the headset frame. The wireless stick even fits inside the headset for storage. - The 933 has the best RGB color options and design. The best looking headset on the market. Many color options and the lights are all over the headset for much styling.

The headset is good in the fact that it has high quality surround sound; is wireless; can be hooked up to PC, Xbox, PS4 or what have you; and, if you're into pretty lights, it's got a bit of that too. But here are where the problems begin: The fit is horrible. I am an adult female with a relatively large head (so I thought) and even at their smallest setting, they don't fit me comfortably (much less my 6 year old daughter, whom I also bought a pair for). Not only are they large and clunky, the actual ear parts go down too low and do not close around my ears properly. There is about a half-inch gap of opening at the bottom, which makes them not the greatest thing considering the price of these puppies. Prior to this, I was using my Turtle Beach 700's, and those have a MUCH more snug, comfortable fit (the only reason I bought the Corsairs is out of fear the green accents on the TB's would be affected by the green screen setup I'm currently building, but next time, it's no contest between the brands--TB wins hands down). If I were Corsair, I would focus less on the pretty multi-colored lights and make a headset that comfortably fits a normal-sized human head.

I would say that I would recommed this product to whoever is a serious gamer who needs to feel as if they were immersed in the game that they are playing. Any experienced gamer knows that your sound is just as important as your keyboard and mouse. This Wireless Void Pro RGB Gaming headset from Corsair is something you can truly rely on. Pros: Great battery life, When paired with the ICUE software it makes doing a simple change to your headset quite easy with the versatility of the software,It’s Discord Certified Which was another reason I purchased this headset, and finally the last pro. These are amazingly comfy to wear for one of those extra long gaming sessions! Now some of the cons (There aren’t many I just felt I should add something): Now even though the ICUE software is very nice 95% of the time it can also be a pain but overall not bad, when you go update the headset make sure you read things right you press the wrong update button and off go the voice prompts and control from ICUE you basically have to go into your computer and reset the drivers and reinstall them by taking the USB in and out after waiting some time. After all that said I hope that this has helped anyone who has gotten to the end I know that this was a lot to read but this is truly a great choice for anyone wanting crisp sound with a true feeling of success when they start playing that game and understand everything that was put into this wonderful system! Thanks and have a great Day!

Super comfy. Great sound. Once the CUE is up to date, everything runs amazing! Always been a Corsair fan. It goes great with my other Corsair products. The sound is great. The fit and comfort is great. We purchased two headsets for two PS4 Pros, one for me, one for my son. One headset worked right out of the box. The other headset wouldn't connect to the supplied dongle. Best Buy replaced the headset. The replacement connected, but the microphone didn't pick up sound. Replaced the replacement. Third time was a charm. We've been using the headsets for a month now. All good. Advice - check the headset before the return time expires.

They sounded great in the store demo, but I got them home and couldn't get them to work with my Xbox One X nor my phone via its bluetooth. PLUS the CUE program to change the audio settings and quality wouldn't open on my Windows 10 computer. They worked ok in stereo on my pc, but I'm not a pc player, I'm a Console Gamer and they are missing a HUGE market Niche. I returned them...

Pros: Extremely sturdy and well built with a metal frame, despite some youtube reviews i have seen. Great wireless distance. Mic sensor (flip up disable) and arm holds up well after daily use for months. (Biggest problem with detachable and movable mics) Decent sound cancelation. Corsair ICUE software is very intuitive and has built in auto-shutdown and equalizers. Very good steam, windows, and overall compatibility with other softwares. Very comfortable and breathable, I don't have an ear sweat issue. (However the headsets ive owned with ear sweat issues did have better sound cancellation) Cons: Heavy, slides off head if not set right Not meant for small heads, really got to stress this for younger buyers. Not bluetooth or atleast not unlocked bluetooth. USB Dongle required. Battery life sucks. I probably average about 6 hours when similar headsets offer 12-20 hours of life. I found charging during breaks with a wall connected cable eliminates my battery issue.

When you can get these on sale they cannot be beat. Nothing about them is specifically spectatular. They just work. Battery life seems to always be north of 6-8 hours. I cannot comment on the microphone but other ratings indicate it is good enough but not awesome. The audio quality is fantastic. Lacking bass a little. Despite other reviews the CUE (Corsair Utility Engine) application, though garbage, is mostly a set-it-and-forget-it and if you have a few minutes and some patience it is not hard to configure these days. There are better pure sound quality headphones for sure but these are regularly sub $100 and using that price point compared to other headsets at that price these are the wireless set to own. These also work with PS4 though the volume might be a bit quiet for some. Dont buy specifically for PS4 though, there are better options, but they make a good backup.

I bought this after having a Logitech G930 after getting fed up with the plastic bracket breaking and me having to home-repair it too many times. The Corsair fit is snug and has awesome sound quality on both the speakers and the mic. The battery life is very good; I've only had to charge it about once a week when I use it at least 2 hours a day. One little thing I really like about it is the audio notice that you mute your mic, which was lacking on other headsets I've used. The range lets me walk out to my living room (which goes through three walls, one of which is the bathroom, so more metal interference). I did have to use the extender for the wireless port, but that extra couple feet did the difference. Overall a very good headset and a good alternative to the G930 in terms of fit and sound quality.
