Customers enjoy the superb sound quality and comfortable fit of the VOID RGB ELITE Wireless headset. Many appreciate the long battery life and wireless convenience, along with the customizable RGB lighting. However, some users find the headset to be a bit large and heavy, and the volume control could be improved. A few also noted that the bass response and software could be enhanced.

The Corsair Void RGB Elite Wireless Headset is a nice addition to anyone’s setup for a variety of reasons. Let’s start with what’s in the box. You have the headset taking up the bulk of the space. It’s packed securely and covered in plastic wrap for protection. Accompanying the headset in the box, there is a charging cable, USB dongle for transmitting, a mic windscreen, and a manual. On first glance, this headset has some size to it and it even feels a little heavy to hold. There are Corsair logos on each ear that light up and make it look nice. There is also a light strip around the mic that plays a role as well. I’ll dive in to that in a little bit. There are also 4 key items on the left ear piece. Two of those are buttons to control the power as well as the mute button for the mic. They reside close to the middle and make sound when activated. On the bottom of the earpiece, there is a toggle for the volume and the charging port. There is also an LED indicator next to the charging port to let you know what status you are in. From a functionality standpoint, the sound is pretty good. I am not an audiophile, but I have used many different earbuds/headsets for various reasons and the VOID RGB Elite WIreless can hold its own. I found the 7.1 surround sound to be crisp and if you download the iCue software, you can even use the equalizer to adjust it for different audio needs. I thought it was acceptable just out the box though. Returning to the mic, it does the job. Nobody had issues when I was communicating so that is nice. As I mentioned previously, there is a light strip around the mic. When it is red, it means that the mic is not on. You can control that with the button on the earpiece or by just turning the mic to the upright position. I think that is a very nice feature. As some have mentioned, the USB dongle is rather large. However, it fits nicely in any USB slot on your PC, PS4, or possible anything with a USB adapter. Yes, it would be nice if it had a 3.5mm connection or Bluetooth option, but you told what connection options you have right on the box. Some might also consider the size a negative, but it actually feels a lot lighter. I think the microfiber mesh and memory foam ear pads help there. I have worn these for as much as 2+ consecutive hours and they haven’t bothered me at all. While not completely perfect, I think the Corsair VOID RGB Elite Wireless headset would be a nice option for just about any gamer from beginner to the most experienced. They can get their kicks tinkering in the iCue software for their preferred sound or color desires, or they can leave everything stock and do just fine. Some may want the Bluetooth or 3.5mm connection options, but it’s not necessary when it performs like this. I look forward to continually testing the 16 hour battery life to its fullest and the 40 foot range from time to time when I am walking around watching something. Happy gaming and video watching!

This headset is truly a bargain, i got it for around 75$ Dollars 25 dollars off OM price and it is truly amazing, the headset looks beautiful and with that 16 hour battery life and around 5-8 hours usage a day its not amazing, but you can lower the lighting brightness through iCue, and it is truly amazing for the price, on sale or not. It has nice sounding drivers, amazing earcups (Doesn’t work for xbox though for you who wants to use it on xbox one to series, Playstation and Pc only.)

    ## Design The first thing I noticed about the Corsair Void RGB Elite Wireless headset is that it has some weight to it! It’s not overly heavy, but enough that your neck may get fatigued after wearing it for a couple hours. I also felt like it might fall off my head if I leaned too far forward, but it doesn’t unless I start shaking my head violently in a fit of rage. The small Corsair logo on both sides of the earphones light up and cycle through a rainbow of LED colors, but other than that, there are not many lighting effects to be seen. If you don’t like the rainbow pattern, you can use the iCue software to set a single color or a different effect (such as pulse). The microphone flips up (and automatically mutes) and down (to automatically unmute) and can be adjusted as it has some bend to it. A small red LED on the end lets you know when it is muted, as well as a tone or voice prompt (also configurable via the iCue software). There are two buttons on the headphones: the power button and a mute button. There is also a job dial for adjusting the volume as well as a Micro USB charging port. ## Sound Quality The headset has great sound quality with strong bass so you can really feel those in-game explosions! There are several EQs that can be set via the iCue software, although I found the default settings to be fine. Microphone performance also seems great as I hear my voice comes through crystal clear, although it could be a smidge louder. ## Features Wireless: The Wireless USB dongle seems to have decent range as I can walk into another room with just a little bit of breakup. Connecting the dongle to my Windows 10 computer automatically detected and installed the basic drivers without needing to install the iCue software (although, you get more customization options with iCue). I tried plugging the dongle into the Nintendo Switch’s dock, but unfortunately it was not detected (nor is it advertised to work with the Switch). iCue Software: Although the headphones will work without the software, iCue allows you to adjust the lighting effects as well as adjust the EQ settings and update the firmware. ## Battery Life If you turn off the LED lighting with the iCue software, you can get up to 16 hours between charges. Since the battery has no “memory effect,” you can charge the headphones between gaming sessions (before the batteries are completed depleted).

Corsair's Void RGB Elite wireless is still some of the best PC headphones you can buy. They are still as solidly made with durability but many of the features from the past few years are still here just at a lower price point. Let's get the best things out of the way here and I want to talk about is an immersive audio experience you will be getting because its amazing at 7.1 sound. The RGB is nice and bright, can rapidly change colors insanely fast. I wish the LEDs were just a tad bit brighter but that's just me. You can hear footsteps around the maps on games to get a better understanding of where the enemy is. they are perfect for gaming sessions giving surreal 7.1 simulated audio. I can't tell you how much I enjoy the fact they are wireless as well as I have not had an issue with cords getting in the way of my keyboard experience. I truly love the fact that I can freely just use these around the house as well. it goes to about 40 feet which covers most of the area I would go for these headphones to stay in range. These are not bass-heavy headphones as they give off the crystal clear sound that seems true to what the sound represents. The mic can be muted by just adjusting it upwards or pressing the mute button the mic. The mic is just basic, its good for when talking to teammates but if you want to do some Twitch chatting they are not good for just general overall use IMO. There was also a missed opportunity here as they could have added media controls like Rewind / Skip for your PC on this giant headset instead of the mute button. Volume controls at the bottom of the headset is a mixed bag for me, but they work and are functional. I would have rather have had them on the side. The headset is large and I mean if you have a supersized head it should fit within these cans. At the default settings, they fit on my head but any larger I feel like it would slip off. They are comfortable to have on your heard for most of the day if you need them on. I will give Corsair an A+ on comfort as it just feels nice. iCue Software provides 5 presets but I found most of them to be weak and you are better off tweaking the EQ settings on your own if you want the most out of these. These headphones work on Sony's PS4 as I tested them out for those who want to use them on a console. Battery life for these headphones is the thing that suffers as it only lasts about 16 hours (RGB on) which is insanely short and you have to ask yourself if the feature is even worth it if you want the maximum amount of sound time out of these. You will get way more battery life out of these with the RGB lighting turned off. Headphones charge up pretty fast so they are ready to go when you need them. You can't use the USB to listen to sound so you would have to charge them while having the wireless dongle in. While lower pricing is great, I feel like Corsair could have made and designed these a little bit better for 2019 going forward. What would have been nice is Bluetooth for those who game on mobile, I know this sounds ridiculous coming from a PC gamer but it wouldn't have hurt to add this. More useful features would have been nice as well but they sound great and I love using them with my setup for sure. Overall I love them and with the iCue Software, I can have the lighting in Sync with the rest of my Corsair products that are RGB. I never been this satisfied with Corsair but they have delivered on wonderful products and this is one of them. They sound great, feel great, durable, and functional. But if you want RGB on you will be giving up tons of battery life. So it's up to you if RGB is worth it. I love them though and they are a solid performer.

This headset got me through a lot of the pandemic and it sounds great to this day! The microphone is a good quality for what it is and the battery life lives through gaming sessions with my D&D group online. I'd definitely recommend this to friends! The only issue I have with it is that, despite it being 2021 when I got it, it still uses micro USB to charge.

Overall great headset. Very comfortable for long gaming sessions, has some RGB and you can sync it up with icu software so its easy to set that up with the rest of your rgb lights. Very comfortable for long gaming sessions. Your head does not sweat all over the place. It is wireless and has a great range and the charge last for a good 2 to 3 days . Sound quality is one of the best i have found besides the Roccat headset. Build quality is good and the Mic sounds pretty darn good too. Not much more i can think to add but they are the best bang for your buck.

An excellent pair of headphones. When had originally gone in to look at a new set of headphones i was originally looking to get one that was wired, however, all of the wired headsets were far above the amount i was willing to spend at the time, leading me to look at this set of headphones. Personally, I had been skeptical of using wireless headsets, however, this pair quickly proved to me that they aren't nearly as bad as i had imagined. The sound quality is excellent, better then my old wired headset in fact. In addition to the sound quality, the microphone is much better tehn what i had expected, friends and family hearing me clearly through it and not hearing any sort of background noises as well. In terms of the battery life, the headset has proven more then capable of lasting me the whole day, and even if the battery runs low, the charging cable is more then long enough for me to plug it in and keep using it if i need to. Really, the only gripe i have with the headset is it did not come with any instructions on how to use it, instead it seems to expect you to know what to do to get it working with your PC or console. Luckily the using it proved easy enough, just plugging the usb in and turning the headset on, but that still doesn't change that i had no clue what i was doing and just took a shot in the dark on what i was supposed to do. Still, the headset has proven to be a great purchase so far, and i woupd recommend it to anyone who is considering buying it

Ultra comfortable, excellent length of time per charge and the clarity is as good as my Beats headphones (seriously). Our son in law is a professional gamer and had a set when they first came out, he swore by them, so we got a set and he was right. Best fitting and most comfortable head set we have owned. They get used for more than gaming though, being wireless we use them when we travel for in the car and such as well. Just a great all around product and worth paying a bit more for the quality.

Product was intended to replace a Corsair Void Elite purchased in 2017. The Void Elite was an excellent product, but an aging design. Also, my 2-yr. warranty on the Void had expired; so, it made sense to see what was available at the same price point today. This product, the HS80 Max, outperforms not only the VOID (as expected), but all other products around the $75~$150 range. It also out performed all-but-one products in the $150~$225 range. There are only 3 other superior headsets I have tried, one in the next tier price point up ($150~$225), and only because of its microphone; and the other two around $275~325. With this headset, you get $275~$325 quality, at 1/3 the cost. It has both wifi & Bluetooth, and one can have both a wifi and a Bluetooth device simultaniously. I use this feature to switch between my VOIP-line and my Cell-line; but, I have been told it works for switching between calls and gaming as well. I live on the 4th floor, of a brick building (the building had previously been clinic/office space for a small hospital wing). The Wifi works great anywhere on my floor, but does cut out once I enter the elevator, or walk a flight or two down the stairs. Wifi resumes working great, if I walk outside, in the general area of the front of the building, below where I live. It sorta begins to falter en rout to the dumpster. At the time I tried this, it was 40-deg and dry. Performance characteristics might have been different at a different time of year. Battery life seems longer that that of the VOID-Elite, but this is subjective, I have not yet stress tested this. The mic is close to, but not quite, studio quality under good conditions. It is also good for office calls under less than ideal conditions, but tends to pick-up back ground noise. Ht does NOT come with a pop-filter (unlike the VOID, which needed a pop-filter, just to achieve the same quality as the HS80 without one); so, adding a 3rd-party pop-filter, other equipment, oir additional software steps would likely remedy this. If you have a sound -booth, this might also solve the issue. Over-all, this a a high quality product for its price point. It performs excellent under good conditions; and fair enough for office/business calls under less than fair conditions. It gives the value one would expect of headsets costing 2x~3x as much.

I bought this headset in april of '23. I used it for work about a year. The headphone drouns out the noise of people around you even though the mic still picks it up. Sadly just after the warranty expired the headset snapped when I took it off. Considering the price increase, due to inflation, and lack of quality I am considering another brand for replacement

Quality made gaming headset with rgb lighting by Corsair. Upon charging these headphones and setting them up in Corsairs Cue software. I found them to be comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The ear cups are covered in fabric and have soft padded foam, making them easy to wear for a while at a time, as well as the headband. Whether gaming or listening to music, the sound from these headphones is surprisingly good. You have the option of having them in Stereo sound, or Surround sound. Both sound modes are enjoyable depending on the content your listening to. Rgb looks good on these, whether you choose to use it or not. The microphone works well and your voice is crystal clear with a good internet connection. You can easily mute the mic via the button on the headset, or flipping it up. Hopefully these hold up well, as I really like the look and design of the headset. It would be nice to see this with a wireless charging stand, but thats not super important to me. I have no complaints about this headset, everything just works and works well.

My son wanted a headset and we discussed quite a bit about his main features that were important. He's far more of a superior gamer on PC + consoles than I am. So his input was very important to what headset we picked out for him. Needless to say, every everybody's situation is different, so for him felt like this would be a perfect fit. Since day one of opening the pack putting the headphone on and playing some games with it, he has not looked back on the choice. Anytime I ask him about it, he's telling me about new and impressive sound and features that he wasn't getting in his last headset. Especially for a wireless headset since his last was wired, but he wanted to make sure the quality of sound with wireless was there. Lightweight, comfortable, great design, PREMIUM SOUND. This thing is a killer, don't wait if it's on sale and don't doubt because of the price, GRAB IT, ITS A STEAL.

I just got these and opened up them up to use. First I was surprised that they actually covered my ears with little pressure, however, I have not attempted a long-lasting session of use. Second, I was surprised by how easy it was to set-up; You plug in the bluetooth USB-A drive and your computer will take care of the drivers. It charged pretty quickly but I wasn't fully sure how charged they were when they came in to begin with. I like the feature where you can just push the microphone upwards to mute it. I do wish that these could have been used with other bluetooth devices, i.e. a cell phone or devices that do not use USB-A connections, but I did not read the fine print on that. So far I like the quality of the sound and the ability to adjust the sound via the iCUE software. Again, I haven't used them extensively to know enough, but the two friends that have them strongly recommended them after my 10 year old TurtleBeach set started to disintegrate (the fabric of the ear muffs to be exact). They were affordable and the wireless ability makes taking care of my dogs while in voice chat extremely convenient. It can reach any room in my home, though my house is not that big.

I’ve been using the Anker Soundcore Bluetooth Speaker for a few weeks now, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. The sound quality is clear and rich, with surprisingly deep bass for such a compact speaker. Pairing it with my phone was quick and hassle-free, and the Bluetooth connection remains strong even at a distance. One of the standout features is the battery life—I’ve gone days without needing to recharge it, even with regular use. The build quality also feels sturdy and durable, perfect for outdoor use or travel. For the price, this speaker offers incredible value and performance. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable portable speaker.

This is actually the 5th one of this exact headset that I've either owned or was given. I purchased the original headset 7+ years ago for my PC and have over time purchased additional ones for work, my laptop and gifts as this has been not only the most comfortable but also the most durable headset I've ever had. The original purchase price was actually closer to $200 so catching it on sale for $60 was and excellent find for a gift for a PS5 family member. This isn't compatible with Xbox but is with PC and PS5 :)
