I bought this headset brand new it all features worked straight out of the box, plug and play, except for the microphone. It seemed to drop my voice a couple octaves or not register my voice at all. When it did briefly work properly, my voice came through incredibly quietly despite my efforts to turn all settings up on input volume. I play online games with friends and if the microphone has this many problems then I cannot use them. However, if this was that I got the ONE defective set and yours works fine then I would recommend these. They are very comfortable and the surround sound works wonderfully in games that support /require it. Great sound quality.

I have tried many headset from different manufactures and I have to corsair has been one of my favorite especially this headset which feels so much lighter due in part of the angle at which the rest sits on your head and the pads around the ears are a lot softer, of course with most new headsets it takes a little bit of time for the headset to mold to the shape of your head so it might be a little uncomfortable for some but it is a serious improvement over a lot of headsets.

This is a great gaming headset.I would highly recommend it.

Pros: The sound quality is great and I love the fully customizable RGB lighting via Corsair's CUE software. Good value for the money. Cons: the USB cable is a bit limiting

This is a very good 7.1 headset for the price. I was between this and the Logitech G933/G633 and the Razer Man'O War, but after trying all three at Best Buy I couldn't see paying more when the VOID met all my needs.

This headset is awesome. It is sturdy and has great audio quality both through the speakers and mic. It's extremely comfortable to wear for long periods and doesn't hurt my ears at all when I wear it. And the led on the front of the mic that tells you when it's off is awesome too.

I got these headphones to replace a pair that had broken. They're comfortable and help you stay cool around the ears for a few hours. Sturdy design with a microphone that automatically shuts off with either a button or pushing it up away from your mouth. Sound quality is what I would expect however since it's USB connected I have moments where the sound becomes garbled. Don't know if it's my computer just messing up or if it's the Corsair itself glitching. Unplugging and then reinserting fixes that issue though. You can get an app to change the color of the flashing Corsair logo. There's a little volume control lever on the underside of the left ear cup that comes in handy if you remember it's there.

Kids are rough on stuff and gaming headsets are not immune to their evil ways. The sound quality (both for the mic and the headphones are supperior to my Turtle Beach set and the lights can be programed top sync with other corsair gaming input devices via the app.

Good for gaming and listening to music, when I'm gaming or not. I like the colors, I'm honestly a sucker for color lights on my things. Sound quality is good. Only draw back, for me, is all the adjusting of things but I don't like too much fuss...just like pretty things.

Great overall gaming headset. The surround sound features truly immerse you in the game.

I haven't used a headset in about 4 years & always bought the regular Logitech USB type for $40 or so if I wanted a mic. This headset lives up to the 7.1 audio, with rich sound & deep bass. The Corsair Link software is easily downloaded & installed for Windows 10 x64, in my case. With that software, the LED color & pattern is adjustable to virtually endless color possibilities if you can see your headset while playing. I always have a mirror handy to see those lights! (joke). Seriously, the software is required for the headset to sound correctly. It can be PnP, but the sound will be hollow. Comfort, not bad but even these wired versions get heavy after an hour or so. If you do not care about the wire, buy these. There's no sound quality difference & the batteries add considerable weight to an already heavy headset. The arms that hold the speakers are made of cast aluminum, the headband, well padded but also metal inside & the large magnets used make these the heaviest I ever used. They do sound great & the surround lacks nothing. The bass is really "there" for a headset, I am shocked. I could've spent 2 times more & would have been disappointed. I returned the Logitech "version" of these that cost the same, had no LED lights, & terrible sound depth. Out of everything on the market with "surround", these are definitely the best value & sounding headset you can buy. Leave the wireless ones alone unless you don't mind the weight. Others say to leave "Dolby" off, it works fine. Putting the headset in stereo is fine for some music but the point of buying these is the 7.1 VR surround they deliver. The software has a fully adjustable EQ with presets & ways to set a custom profile per app or globally. The mic works fine for gaming, Skype, & auto-mutes when up.

I decided to step up and purchase gaming headphones. I wanted headphones that would hold up for my children. These headphones fit the bill. They are sturdy and fit nice and snug on their ears. Great sound quality and the light show is an added bonus.

Great sound quality. It is very comfortable and can be worn for long sessions without issue. I use it to stream for hours at a time and it never feels exhausting to wear like many other headsets have. Corsair makes nothing but quality products.

Great sound and build for the price. The colors are a nice bonus.
