First things first. This is a beautiful laptop with amazing build quality and trackpad.
However, I am going to return it because of the following fristrating issues it gave me within 24 hrs -
1. Multiple random BSODs.
2. iCUE software randomly crashing and totally turning off all RGB lighting.
3. The laptop seemed to work fine for 1 hour after unboxing, but with windows updates this thing gets completely broken software wise. Random shutdowns, screen going black and laptop becoming unresponsive for no reason.
4. I couldnt install an AMD driver for the RX6800M. any driver except for the one from nov. 2022 on corsair's website breaks the screen. It gets stuck at 60Hz and the freesync doent work at all!

Solid-Built and Sleek All-Metal Beast of a Laptop

This laptop blows the Razer Blade out of the water in terms of build quality, cooling and design. The hinge is bulletproof and very unique, raises the screen a couple inches higher than most laptops and keeps it away from any heat (keep in kind you need a 17" laptop sized bag for this machine).
The screen is GORGEOUS. 240hz IPS, 16:10 aspect ratio 500+ nits (not sure about the 650 they claim but it is very bright). Makes gaming on this machine a truly great experience.
The 6800M is a beast, in many games will slightly out perform a 3080 (aside from ray-tracing).
The built in Corsair Slipstream module is a blessing as my mouse/keyboard/headset are all Corsair slipstream products, goodbye dongles!
The keyboard is exquisite - great mechanical keyboard with tactile but not overly clicky mx switches. RGB lighting on it is very customizable color-wise and pattern-wise. Pretty sure it is per-key and not just zone but can't confirm.
I will probably never use the built in Elgato streamdeck, but it is beautiful looking and feature-rich.
Minor cons:
-Only one USB-A port (no biggie most my things interface with USB-C (3 ports for thunderbolt 3 and all are 1.4 Display rated). Get a usb hub if you need it
-I can't get the CPU temperature to display in Task Manager or other apps (like iCUE4) that would use that sensor info. I tried re-installing drivers to no avail. Maybe Corsair customer service can help. GPU stats and temps show in Task Manager but not in iCUE 4 either.
All in all, a great first entry for Corsair in the gaming laptop market. Interested to see what they come up with next.

This laptop is hard to beat when on sale for 999! Plenty of power under the hood in a very thin all aluminum high-quality chassis. It’s got the build quality of Razer and Alienware but does a better job in my opinion because of its cherry MX keyboard and muted all black look. The charging brick is smaller than most other gaming laptops, and it also came with a very nice sleeve. The laptop has an extra SSD slot and the ram is upgradable. I found is that it’s not newbie friendly. You will definitely need to know how to update all the software, firmware and bios when going into this purchase. Once everything is updated, it runs just as well as my i9 12900H and 3070 TI laptop. The 6800M seems pretty future proof with 12 gigs of VRAM. Screen is about 400-450 nits with great colors and resolution. I personally prefer this raised screen design as it helps with posture and the hinge allows the screen to go back quite a bit but a full 180. I’ve only been able to get 2-3hrs on battery doing just web surfing which is bit disappointing but thankfully it supports usb c charging. The customizable “S Keys” are great for someone who enjoys it but for me it felt a bit gimmicky. The small screen with battery/time display is customizable and I like having it there. All in all it’s Corsair’s first laptop and they did a great job with it as there’s not many options for 6800m laptops. Time will tell how the laptop holds up.

Good overall especially considering it's Corsair's first laptop, solid metal build with no noticeable screen wobble, great resolution and frame rate, plenty of customization options.
Potential issues to consider:
The built in stream deck is fun to use once you get it working, but I still can't get it to do on the fly lighting adjustments.
Fans are adjustable but I use the highest setting along with a cooling pad with fear of overheating (especially because of current summer weather). Regardless fans fluctuate depending on cpu load and can be louder than I would like.
Hopefully in their future laptops they do something to provide more space for cooling, maybe decrease trackpad size.

I think that this laptop is good. But, the moment you try to game on it, it starts getting really loud. Even from the quiet setting in the bios the fans ramp up a lot.
One pro of this laptop is the excellent keybaord. I think it sounds and feels absolutely amazing. Also windows hello and fingerprint is a cherry on top. The screen is nice too if the Mux Switch works properly.
Cons are that the laptop is loud anytime you turn on anything intensive. Also the Macro pad isnt possible to disable, you can only turn off the lights basically through icue. Speakers arent great and to top it all off the amount of corsair software makes 16gb ram feel pathetic.

Very heavy, but classy metal finish up, under, sides, all over. Battery drains fast, so always bring your charger. It's not consistent when it drains fast and slow. I ran Insurgency Sandstorm in high settings. No issues with graphics at It's full resolution. I ran video editing software, no issues. AMD had to release an older software to fix issues when they upgraded their Radeon software. So you need to research on that. Expensive much. Sharp edges hurts my tummy when i want to use it while lying down in bed. Wish there was numeric keypad. There's issue with not starting up. You either have to plug or unplug the charger while rebooting, try both methods, otherwise, it won't start. Probably would choose a Lenovo next time. The display colors actually looks terrible compared to a phone or tablet display or to a regular LCD monitor. Does not look natural. Basically garbage quality. I worked professionally doing photoshop for over 10 years.

I'm not sure what all the bad reviews are about. This laptop runs Starfield and Baldur's Gate 3 pretty well but what really sets it apart are the excellent mechanical keyboard, large trackpad, elevated 240hz display, and an integrated Stream Deck (if that's your thing). And, it's thin and light for a gaming laptop. At Best Buy's current price, it's a steal.

A surprisingly good gaming computer at this price. The specs are top notch; the keyboard is very good; the weight good. So far, I have just gotten it and have set it up. However, very impressed with what you get for the price. A worthy competitor to the Razer and Alienware.

Decent laptop. The 1440p screen is nice.
I'm not real into the built in streamer keyboard stuff. As I don't stream when I game. I'd like to see what they do next. With their AMD Advantage laptops.

PC works great, but the screen is very fragile. It has already become damaged with lines running through it. Getting a replacement will take a month and likely cost $300 dollars. Considering I just got it about a month ago I feel pretty jipped. Probably should've invested in a $1800 dollar model.

The price is right on this product now that it’s being sold at $1,100. I bought it when it was listed as $2,000 on Best Buy, and returned to get a spec out gaming pc from Lenovo earlier this year.

Brand new machine Voyager 1600 they sent me and it arrived 1 day late. Which really sukced and psised me off because I was not going to be in town the day of arrival and it needed a signature.
Anyways i ended up returning it because i experienced the same issue as a few other reviewers had with the BSD on 3 diff occasions. So i def would not recommend this particular laptop to anyone including my enemies.

I hate it. This laptop is litterally the worst ive had. It sometimes turns on and off on its own without you having to do anything. Its a pain to get going the first time I used it it blue screen error coded me. What a load.. Over all I am not happy if i could give 0 stars i would.. not even a fake gold star that belongs on the fridge. I dont recomend it and thats a shame because its a good brand but this laptop entry sucks.

Awesome laptop. Only had it for a day but this thing is a beast. The display looks so good and gaming is a breeze so far. Battery life is about what I would expect from this level of power. S keys are cool, but would have been better if the icons were customizable.

It appears that even the newest versions of this laptop a lot of hands on work in order to get them to work. Until i see something different on Corsairs website you should stay away. Just take a look at the amazon reviews. This product should have never been released with these problems. Although even a year after its release it appears to still be shipping with same issues.
