Great stuff. I have always used Artic MX before, but thought I would give this a shot bc it was in stock locally and I needed it that day. Turned out to be great - went on easy, came with a spreader and template, and seems to be running good - the system stays just as cool as I expected it to. Way better than the cheapo knockoff crap you can get from Amazon.

This thermal paste is fantastic! I saw a noticeable drop in my CPU temperatures after applying it. It was easy to use and the performance is excellent. Highly recommend for any PC build.

So this product is one of the most overlooked essential components of your PC. Don't go cheap on most important part of the computer. Cooling is essential so that's just the best they offer. I prefer Paste over liquid metal any day because the risk of spillage is minimum with a good thermal paste. So this probably coming at $15 and the quantity would last an average user for the lifetime of the paste. Every thermal paste will eventually dry out so keep that in mind. A higher quality paste is worth fishing out slightly money for more performance. Since repairs aren't that cheap.

I was initially using the stock thermal paste in my Corsair 240mm elite aio, but my CPU temp on idle was around 45-50 Celsius. I applied this high efficiency thermal paste and immediately saw improvement! The idle temp is now 38-42 Celsius. On 100% CPU stress test, I get max 84 Celsius. Way better in my book! Additionally, as someone who knows nothing on how to apply thermal paste besides watching a couple of videos, this was so easy to apply! I love the square sticker option which allows you to apply the paste exactly on the cpu without going over and also leaving room for the paste to melt after applying the pump. Only thing I would do differently is to run my cpu for a bit so it gets warm.. that would make it really easy to apply the paste, otherwise it was a bit hard to spread.

I have used other brands of paste in the past. However this one really hit the head on the nail when it comes to thermodynamic efficiency. I replaced the paste on my 5 year old GPU and it lowered the idling temps from 36°-40°C to about 27°-31°C. When under a heavy load, it normally ranges anywhere between 58°-66°C or higher. It now is stabilizing at 50°-51°C while under a heavy load. A huge difference for me now than what it was. Granted, some of these higher temps may be from dust in those hard to reach places. I try to dust my computer regularly so it wasn't too dirty overall. Which makes me think that the previous temps weren't mostly caused from dust, but rather old, dried up paste. Like most pastes, it can get very messy, very fast. It comes a stencil to cover the area surrounding whatever chip you are applying this on. It also comes with an applicator to smear it evenly. I didn't use it, as it seemed to attract dust and dog hair (I have two GSD's so lots of hair going around) and I didn't want that to get left behind on the chip. Getting that perfect amount to evenly coat the surfaces took me a few tries, but overall it was worth it.

The CORSAIR XTM50 High PerformanceThermal Paste Kit worked great for my laptop. I have an older HP laptop from 2013 timeframe and this paste worked wonders in restoring to working status. It was shutting off due to CPU over heating. Since applying this paste it been running fine. This thermal paste definitely works. Be careful when applying the paste it will exit the tube quickly if you press the syringe type extractor too hard, so have the past applicator ready to catch the extra that will come out while applying. Considering you would apply the paste right on the CPU and video chips as I did. How much you will need will actually be determined by your processor chip size as far as coverage. You don't want it to run in excess. There are stencils and an application guide in the kit to help. My laptop processor and video processor layout was too small to use the guides. I used a YouTube video as a guide to determine how much and how to apply for my older laptop. All in all, a great product that does what it says.

My son's computer started lagging, particularly during gaming. After a thorough examination I determined the CPU was overheating and trottleing. The original thermal paste that was applied during the computer build had worn out and was dry. I bought the Corsair XTM50 to fix this. I removed the old paste and reapplied the new product. With this simple fix, the CPU dropped from 90C to <60C and my son was able to obtain high FPS in his games again. Pros - This is the more 'expensive' product they had at the store, but you literally get a lifetime supply of it for 15$. They have it in-store so it's easy to pick up for emergencies. Worked on first application. Can be neatly reinserted into the clamshell for storage for future use. Cons - To be honest the product instructions and extra parts for application seemed a little too convoluted for me. I simply applied a pea sized drop on the CPU and re-installed my heat sink and skipped all the excess steps and materials. Easy peasy.

Used this for mining on two separate GPU's, a 3080 and a 3090, and I'm SO surprised at how much it helped my temps. My VRAM were throttling and this paste dropped my temps by about 12°C so they can run at full speed. Amazing!! Cheap paste that has already paid for itself! Just ordered more!

I'm not sure how much I can write about thermal paste, seeing as how it's thermal paste, and I don't have the professional tools or funding required to test this against other brands of thermal paste. I can say that I recently upgraded my CPU to an i7 11700k and the temps that I am getting is a lot lower than I had expected, even with a 5.1 GHZ all core overclock but I don't know how much of that has to do with the thermal paste, or just the fact that the 7700k that I upgraded from was a VERY HOT chip. The amount of thermal paste you get in this tube is enough for pasting at least 4 CPUs, but you could probably get 6-7 if you stretched it out, which is a pleasant surprise because the last thermal paste I got was 10 bucks and it was only enough for 1 - 2 CPUs.

It is decent thermal paste. If your looking for the coldest thermal paste you can get, this isn't it. However it will keep it within 3-5 degrees range with th best stuff out there. So it's definitely good enough for most people. I recommend artic MX-4 myself and used this stuff until I got my artic stuff. I barely noticed a difference once I switched it to the mx-4. A couple degrees and that was it. Not 5 or 10 but like 3- 4 degrees. This stuff from Corsair didn't spread well those. It was difficult to get it to cover the chip with out it wanting to collect up on the spatula and basically wipe off as I was applying it The artic MX-4 spreads awesome! The mx-5 does not! It's hard like jb weld lol

The best for keeping the heat down, good price, easy to use. I always go with this product when changing out mu CPUm

It works great. If you’re looking for good quality thermal paste, buy it. My cooler came with some low quality paste and I replaced it with this to get better thermals. Don’t buy Diamond when you don’t need it.

I have tried many thermal pastes in my day, this one is great. I have compared it to TG-7, MX-4, NTH-1 and TM-8, This one is best! The temps are very low. On my Acer Nitro 5 it even beats NTH-1 by about 2 degrease. which is fantastic. Its easy to apply and the tube is wide and easy to grip.XTM 50 is quite thick so it wont run or out of place. Which is important in a laptop. I got a 25c temp drop in my Nitro 5. I may try it on other laptops. Overall its a great option and not insanely expensive.
